Both teams have promoted from 2.div, and will play in Addeccoligaen this season.

Ranheim have played very well in their pre-season so far, and won all games played against 2.div teams, with ease. The losses came against one Tippeliga side, and one Adeccoliga favorite:

Strømmen have won against 2 div team Bærum (2-0), two draws against Adeccoliga side Follo (2-2) and 2.div team Manglerud/Star (2-2), and two losses against Tippeliga sides Lillestrøm (0-2) and Vålerenga (0-4).

Ranheim have played very good in pre-season so far, and won their games against equal opposition with ease. They totally dominated against a Rosenborg 2 side (7-2), that used many players that performed in the first team a couple of days earlier.
Strømmen have yet to show good form, and their two latest games have ended draw. Ranheim should be the better side here, moneyline bet recommended (0), due to the high draw rate in Norwegian club friendlies.

Sarpsborg 08 - Lyn (played on Sarpsborg 08s home stadium - artificial grass)

Adeccoligaen starts in one week, and this is the final preparation for both teams in pre-season.

Sarpsborg 08 are considered one of the outsiders for a promotion this season, as they were the losing playoff finalists in 2009. Many good performances in pre-season against good sides, but they rarely win by many goals against their opposition.
Morten Giæver (Mid), Magnar Ødegaard (Def), Martin Mathisen (Mid) will not play his game.
Ole Heieren Hansen is doubtful. Mame Mbar Diouf (Mid/Att) will most likely make his debut for Sarpsborg 08 today.

I have made many picks against Lyn in this pre-season, and their results have been awful as predicted. The players have got many games to establish a good team play though, and the players seem to have found their role in the team, even though the results seem very bad. This side will improve for each game they play together, if the players link up with each other, and work as a team.

Sarpsborg 08 are one of this seasons favorites for promotion, Lyn relegated from Tippeligaen in 2009, and they have lost many first-team players due to bad economy. With only one week to go before the season starts, I think Lyns main objective in this game, are to close down the opposition, and play well in defense. Sarpsborg 08s main objective should be to find the right players for all roles in the first line up before the season starts. I doubt this will be a scoring frenzy, and ill go for under 3.25 goals.
