General picks: Tours vs. Clermont

Well, this match has all ingridients to end as an over. Tours have nothing to lose, no time to wait and they will play for a win here. Their quality of course is questionable, in the first part of the season they only managed to win once. But they will give everything and I expect them to score and recieve. Their average of goals is 2,6 per game. Tours actually had 6 overs in the last 7 games (both Cup and League), so we don`t need to be afraid.

On the other side is a team I respect. They are really interesting, Clermont had Corinee Diacre as a manager for three years and she was the first woman to lead a men professional football team. Her longivity was a proof of her quality, but also a statement about Club`s positivity. She left to lead French women `s national team, but they are still a very respectable team on this level. Also, they still play nice, attacking football. Currently 9th they finished the Autumn with three losses, but had 3 overs in the last 4 games played and surely will score a couple here.

My call is 2-2 draw!

You meant Tours recieve 2,22 goals per game at home, right? Yes, but they are now playing well prepared, after a break, will be motivated, I like an over more, it could end 2-1 or something.
But yes, normally 1-2, 1-3, 2-2 are most probable results, let us hope for that, odds you have on that bet are awesome.

Tours are deservedly bottom of the league they are worst team in the league and have the worst defensive record. Tonight they are without 3/4 of their regular defence. Goalkeeper Kacou (14/0) is out along with defenders Cisse (17/0), Gradit (16/1) and El Hriti (7/0). They are being replaced by Filippi (1/0) who has just come back from a long injury, he went off injured after playing a total of 8 minutes this season back in September. Kone (0/0) who is a new signing from Troyes second team which played in the French 5th tier. The goalkeeper Descamps (0/0) is also a new signing who comes from PSG second team which play in the French 4th tier. It is a makeshift defence and none of the players have played together before, I expect Clermont to bag a few tonight. Tours are also without Tshimumnu (5/1), Hein (11/1) and Louvion (9/1).


Clermont miss Perez (17/1) and Ajorque (19/7) through suspension but have plenty of goals throughout the team. It will not be difficult to score vs this Tours defence.

But the new ones are a questionmark, so we don`t know.
That is why I took an over as I expect goals and don`t care who will score them.
So I hope Clermont scores 3 and we both win!
