This is a chance for Simeone to take this trophy which would really make him happy, we saw how much this means to him during semifinals when he was serving his suspension for insulting the ref. He was jumping and reliving every chance that Costa and co. failed to convert.
Atletico's defence is so much better than Marseille's and their goalkeeper is at the top 2 best keepers on the planet with De Gea, if not better.

I am not some Japanese football expert but this one looks good to me.
Both teams must win to think about progressing to quarter final of this cup.
It's just a draw what firts in the table Vissel Kobe needs to spoil it all.
Anyway, just victory counts for Shonan and V-Varen.
Hosts with some crazy 3-4 result in a last match agaisnt leading Vissel Kobe.
All the five previous matches in this cup for the guests went over 2.5 goals.

5 matches to the end of the relegation group. Botosani has 10 points more than danger zone so they practically almost safe. In 4 home matches in relegaion group they won only once so far.
Concordia has only 1 point more than play out place and 1 point more than direct relegation place (but with 1 match played less). In last away game they won against Sepsi. They draw in Botosani few weeks ago. In this match they need points much more than Botosani and I think they will be much more motivated.

we have here game in the norway highest division(mostly win with brann bergen and they probably wil win tonight as well but i think this is a more "sure"bet in my opinion

i know a -1 handicap is a bit tricky but i think (no key players missing) and as we consider the strong hometeam odd unbeaten->only victories and 1 draw against strong rosenborg(only brann is better at home->one of my favorite teams who also mostly make money for me tonights game they should win as well but i found that a bit more tricky as haugesaund is also in form) and the weak form of sandjeford..
my prediction is a solid and easy win for ODD

I like this Marseille team, they showed character and reached final. They don't play European top football every year, so, players are very motivated in their only chance for great EL trophy. And fans are hungry for success. Marseille played twice in the EL final in their history but never won this trophy. Anyway, French club never won Europa League. Maybe first time today?

Atletico Madrid play great football, they are among best teams in Europe, must say they have great defense and very good tactician in their coach Simeone. They are still favorites for victory today, but in the final anything can happen. And they can be unstable under pressure.

Match will be played at Parc Olympique Lyonnais, Lyon, France, three hours drive from Marseille.
They will have bigger support from the stand.

Even Atletico Madrid is one of the top teams in Europe in past seasons, this is grand final, and it will not be easy for them. My POD is Marseille not to lose in regular time today. I will also try some small stakes on Marseille victory on great value odds today.

No doubt, this will be a great test for both sides. Hosts are a very average team. In the last five games, they had only one victory. Poor efficiency, vulnerable defense. Nevertheless, they are an experienced team. After the defeat against Haugesund (3: 2) they will try to return to the winning rhythm. Of course, they are not a convincing team at all. Otherwise, they have 2-1-1 at home in the new season. In any case, their basic problem is their efficiency. Let's say, their best scorer last season Stokke after 9 rounds did not score a goal. However, Bamba (5 goals) is in the mood. Also, it should be noted that they have 3 wins, 1 draw and 1 defeat in the last five h2h matches. Hosts were the last time at home to pick up all three points two years ago.
On the other hand, my favorite team, Ranheim is a rookie in the new season. They have a very solid start. They come after a win against Odd (3: 1) at home. Well i just cant resist this odds. Not much value since Brann have been rock solid and its hard to score against them, only 2 goals received which is amazing, but i think it wont last long, so many clean sheets in a row in Norway is just not typical. Im counting on Haugesund and festivities around this midweek run, which should bring some goals. Haugesund is in fairly decent form, just scoref 3 past Kristiansund, decent form and they Gytkjaer which is proven scorer for this level and overall this is a solid side, capable of good footy especially home but also away they can be a threat and they have proven that at Valerenga. Defensivelly they arent solid enough to keep a clean sheet so considering Brann form they should be in their usual 2-3 goals. They just look great and capable of challenging Rosenborg for the tittle. Maybe too early for that kind of judgements but they are surely the hottest team around Norway and like i said that clean sheet series is just doesnt sound normal to me.

Aalesund were relegated from the top division in Norway in the previous season still so far they are dominating the first divison and are unbeaten after seven games played. Aalesund have won six matches from seven played and only drew once. They are coming from a 3-2 win against Asane and this was one of many impressive games in offense Aalesund had. They have already scored 18 goals this season and should easily break weak Strommen's defence that has conceded twelve goals already. Improtant to mention that Aalesund are averaging 2.5 goals per match at home. Still Aalesund have conceded also in each of their latest three matches played and might allow a goal again as Strommen are averaging almost 2 goals per match this season. A high scoring game looks very probable in today's round.

Bodo in a decent scoring form lately and they play attacking minded football overall, especially at home. Tromso started the season well but their form dropped due to some injuries. Bodo were able to score 2 against Stromgodset and Molde in the previous 2 rounds so no doubt they are capable of scoring against average Tromso. But Tromso are a team that can take advantage of opportunities when underestimated, that has been their selling point for years and although they are typically a strong host rather than a good visitor against teams on their level they can compete. I think this one should be pretty interesting with Bodo looking to ride on the wave of their good form while Tromso will be looking to break that poor run.

I did not make a pod pick of frist game bcs i was kinda sceptic about approach from Houston, and i was right, i did play safer option of under total points, but the total was well spotted from bookies.
Houston showed once again that they are not PO team, like all the freaking previous seasons. When i say not a play off team, i mean they have no clue what it takes to be the best> They are not able to change a lot of things in-game when things go wrong, if they shots aint going.
In first game , well we all know that these team are trying a lot of 3pts but this game was not aboust that in all. They both shot same amount of 3pts with low %, but GSW simple outrun them, bcs they played whole game without C. Neither Zaza nor McGee played. They just pushed the tempo , and were a bit better from 2pts and FT.
Houston also didnt use big guys, plus Anderson is still sore , and thats one less shooter. But Houston was very static, allowing GSw to rest on court, they need to change that, i do not believe they will, bcs mentality of these team is bad, in this bigger stage, which they showed.
GSw looks really scary, they look mean and are very agressive and this is really scary for NBA, who the hell will win over them, you need to put in front of them the brutal defence and to keep rolling the basket, i mean in future i can only see Boston, healthy Boston be on the line with them.
Houston have worst coach than GSW and thi swill matters a lot as we see in game 1. To go with fast smaller line up , i mean that was the best thing they could do, as they knew they can outscore Houston any time, Klay, Curry , and Durant are no match for Houston, and if they want to get in that kinda game with GSW they need at least 5 players to have shooting night.
So, i was kinda right first game with total points, although i played safer opt with lower odds, bcs i know and they all know what is the approach for this series. Tempo will be high, but that Houston need to oscilate that on court, to see and feel and use that momentums. Plus they need to play that hard core agressive defence game, with no easy FG shots. They are capable of that, and its the only thing they must do for 48 mins. I didnt see that in game 1, and personaly i didnt watch 2nd and 3rd Q bcs i saw what will happen in that game from start.
So i will play again under, strong one, as that is the only thing they need to do, slow the game, use more players on court move the ball, chop off the time, and Get back in the freaking defence bcs GSw just made so many fast breaks.
