I think we can trust more on Croatian squad for the clash here.
The game is revenge since 1:1 in Norway, that was a good result for Rijeka and back at home they should to dominate today over Sarpsborg 08.
Ofcourse Rijeka should to be more careful with this opponent.
So far Sarpsborg 08 eliminated two teams in EL qualifications - IBV Vestmannaeyjar and St. Gallen, but the both is not of the class on Rijeka at all.

Hosts were in the last match and the domestic league picked up all three points against Gaz Metan Medias (1: 3) away. It is not clear at all what their goal is for this competition. I think they will try to stay in the title fight in their league. At first glance, they have great chances in this game, however, who knows, maybe they are not interested in this kind of competition too. Otherwise, the European League is very suspicious, and a large number of teams are avoiding. They simply spend time without any sense in this competition. Nevertheless, the Romanians are in every sense a better team. They were in the 1st leg without losing away. But they are very solid at the start of the new season in their league. First of all, they want a title. They are a better team than CFR Cluj. But this is just the beginning of a new season. They will not have the strength for both fronts. In other words, CFR Cluj made a solid result against Alashkert from Armenia. So, I want to say that two teams from Romania in the same competition are too many. But, why not. Otherwise, FCSB has a very important match against Sepsi at home for 3 days. It is very difficult to predict what is their priority.
On the other hand, visitors want to stay in this competition much more. They are not a better team and nothing depends on them in this game. However, they will try to offer strong resistance. Otherwise, for example, Rijeka (Croatia) has much more chance against Sarpsborg 08 from Norway in the same competition at home.
What do I want to say in fact? I want to pay attention to possible combinations for the next stage. This is a semi-final. In my opinion, either teams from Romania will not be able to get this phase, as it is impossible to get both teams from Croatia to this stage. Somebody has to turn out. Rijeka and Cluj have much more chance. Otherwise, Split has several players who will probably miss this game. Never mind. In any case, I am not a fan of Hajduk, but I think they can pick one point in the regular part. This can be a game that goes in extra time. So, I expect a surprise in this match, although I think the hosts are better for one class.

Beautiful odds for the win of Steaua against Hajduk Split. Certainly the Croatians might be better than the people are rating them in Romania, because they finished the championship not very far from Dinamo Zagreb and Rijeka. Just behind. But the Romanians will finally have the chance to combine. At Split the pitch was impractical. Hajduk yesterday 1-1 at Rijeka, so they must have better technicity normally than we think. It was hard to make an opinion in Croatia, the pitch was unreal after a big concert in Split. But I really do think, known Hajduk from the previous seasons, that FCSB are just better. FCSB are good now up-front especially, and if they have the possession they will score 1 goal more than the opponent. If I would be the coach Dica, I would play to win it. It doesn't matter if I conceed, because Hajduk aren't able to score more than 2 goals. Based on their football skills, in my opinion the Romanian players are totally superior. Hajduk has chances though on corners and indirect freekicks, especially because Steaua defence and the goalie aren't really fantastic. But if Qaka plays with Pintilii and I think he will, plus Man or Coman and surely Morutan up front with Tanase... Then it's clear! Harlem should score, and up front behind him there are 5 great players fighting on 3 spots: Tanase who played really well at Medias, Man, Morutan, Coman and Teixeira. Steaua 3-1 at Gaz Metan, so I think they will do it. Probably expect +25.000 fans. I want to say that in my opinion that Hamza Barry is a really mediocre player, at Dinamo Bucharest for instance another African is some classes over although he is just average. And Dinamo finished the Romanian league as 7th, first of the playout. Plus German midfield of Hajduk, Fomitschow, is another poor player. And compared to these, Ivanovski who was many times a reserve in Astra in Romania, is ok. Ivanovski is a golgeter in Croatia but in fact he could not ever play for FCSB. Anyway, sometimes bad can happen and after the goaless draw 0-0 Hajduk are nearer to the playoffs. But it would be a surprise, plus Hajduk in the last 4-5 years stopped in the same current phase. Steaua only 1 didn't play in groups for 20 years? ...

First leg 0-0 means Hajduk has to score and FCSB has to win. Well, they COULD aim for penalties but I doubt that would be first choice for any of these two. I'd say Hajduk has a slight advantage seeing how them scoring 1 means FCSB must score 2, however, form-wise the romanian team is better. In terms of quality both seem at a similar level so home crowd could be a deciding factor in this case. 0-0 is a very tricky first leg result and pressure piles up quickly but in cases such as this one where we have 2 teams on virtually the same level I think there will be mistakes in both defenses and 1 goal for either team would mean more risk taking from the one that concedes.
