Everyone expected him to be the leader of this team and what he is showing now is below his average opportunities. I think it is time for him to step up (I also thought that yesterday with Nowitzky, but he must be very well guarded and very tired). This guy is playing many minutes at a game – 31 and 34 so far, but shooting miserable (3/11 shoots vs BRA and 3/8 with 2/6 FT’s vs TUR). Greece defense is not bad at all, but Bogut should make at least 12 points at that is very likely when playing 30+ minutes in a game and hope he won’t have 3rd game in a row with a shooting percentage of only 30-40. The team’s leader should make some changes after 2 bad games.

I think this should be a little bit different game for USA than all before. Also it will be a different game for Slovenia. I’m talking about the tempo of this game. On my opinion Slovenia should score around 70pts. I saw many friendly USA’s games and both WC games and all I can say is that their defense is not as bad as it may look from results. The main reason why USA’s opponents are scoring so many points (China 90, Puerto Rico 100) is the tempo of the games. They should take this game more seriously so we can expect Slovenia to score under 87 points.

I think this should be a little bit different game for USA than all before. Also it will be a different game for Slovenia. I’m talking about the tempo of this game. Two good teams shouldn’t be playing a “running and shooting” game.
USA don't play run-and-gun basketball. They play very active full court defence and they make a lot of easy points from opponents TO. It works like this: you steal a ball - score points - opponent start another attack, or you don't steal a ball but opponent just can;t play positioning attack like europeans used to do so they shot a ball when they are open.. And because of such tough but very effective defence teams make 15-20 attacks more than usual. And americans have enough possesions like they used to have when playing in NBA. I have read that americans are planning to concentrate on 3pt shooting now because they feel that's it is only gun how european teams can beat them.. but Slovenia have balanced offense opposite from Italians so I expect them to score 87-95 points tomorrow while americans will do about 105-112 points again because Lakovic sometimes make stupid turnovers. And the only chance to break a full court pressing is to run as fast as you can... so open game is expected for tomorrow for me.
Turkey - Brazil
Here we have a situation where current results have more effect on the line than team real strength. More of that Turkey have not shown really good team in both won games, while Brazil played first game with Australia really badly especially in the 4th quarter. Turkey are already qualified for 1/8 finals (they need to win Qatar to make 1/8 officially) while Brazil needs this win to get 1/8 spot without waiting for last game with Lithuania.
I think that in any other situation Brazil should 4-5 points favorite so I take Brazil to cover tomorrow because they are better team and more stabil one.

Is it a software bug or something happened? Like his over-reaction to recent comments by strandns?

Day 4 is a good day for betting. We have seen teams we know what they can do and games are good enough
First pick is Lithuania-29.5 @2.01 (PinnacleSports.com) Lithuania lost already 2 games but against the strongest team of group (Greece) and against Turkey which is a good team. It is now time for their first and easy win. Qatar is probably the weaker team of competition and surely the weakest of group. Lithuania is a team with many good players that likes to run and score so I believe they will ealisy cover the handicap
Next pick is Slovenia+16.5 @1.98 I consider Slovenia as the best team of group exlcuding USA and is a team with lot of very good players. A more risky pick is Brazil at 2.10 Looking at previous games Turkey might seem the favourite of game but I dont think it is true. Turkey had a good performance against Lithuania but winning a better in theory team but without a decent pg is not so big deal. Also the turkish leaders Kutlay and Erdogan had many ups and downs during season so it is too possible not to be as good as they were in first 2 games. All that makes me pick Brazil but in low stakes

Actually it isn`t like that,what if you have local odds on let`s say serbia 2.20@ and on -line odds are @1.70 so in that case is it worth of bet on it or no buy that much lower odds??
This forum is international and we don`t have lituania bookies and odds so I recommend that you put just on-line odds so that members can evaluate are that odds acceptable for them or not.

That is a tough one a pick a side easily. I guess that Brazil will win today. Let's see why?
First match of Turkiye was really really tough but they were motivated cos they were underdog and were relax. Nobody expected to get that match.
Second competition was kinda boring cos Turkish basketball team is much more better than Austrilian's.. And they knew it. Australian national team has some taleted players.. That's all they have. They have no team spirit to beat real teams. After all every ppl who were watching that match knew that Turkiye would grab the last period.
Let's see this match.
I was suprised when i saw the odds. Actually this match depands on Turkish forward's and guard's performance Serkan Erdogan should score 15 +
Anyway the point is unlike Lithuania and Australia, Brazil is a complicated team. Lithuania has many talented team and in the future they ll be champion but not now. They have no enough experience. Australian team has no basketball logic. I mean ok they have powerful and fit player some of them are talented ok but they are high temparetured. Brazil can score easily against Turkiye national team. I expect that 82 - 77 Brazil

My opinion for the game slovenia-usa, under 190
why?Slovenia, i think and i hope will not follow so called run and go basketball, they will i hope play defensive and will not allow that usa players shoot whenever they want. we have strong centre players-nesterovic and brezec, we have great 3 point man-lakovic(ex panathinaikos and signed for barcelona this summer). Slovenia probably can't win this game, but will certainly cause some problems to offensive line of the usa, this could have an impact on the result, so i think under 190 is a good value here, perhaps the odds should be a bit higher for this one :D
Without NBA stars and some other quality players was the Turkish team really big underdog in this WC. But they showed at first two match solid defence and fighting spirit and won both match. Now you must see the Turkish newspapers. The players are now heros in Turkey and i am really afraid about this situation. We know the Turkish mentality in this situations and i think they will have not the same motivation today. I take a medium +3.5 Brazil bet. I hope about a Turkish victory but i dont believe on it.
Yiannakis proved to be a disaster coach for greece, players are shocked, they are learned how to defend, but not how to score, yiannakis insist to use defending alike guards, and the two and only authentic shooters of greece (Zisis and Spanoulis) stay long time on the bench

I lost my money. As I said it before i expected that Brazil could win... Cos they have to ... But i m very happy and proud of Turkish National Basketball team.

I don't know why you write all these things, but I think you judge too early sometimes, and it's not a matter whether I agree with you or not about Yannakis, it's true that facts prove you wrong, if you follow Greece' results with Yannakis and compare them with other coaches at the helm of national team over the last 10 years. And I doubt Greece can play in a different way, as we don't have Macijauskas or Navarro, like other teams, we are then doing the best we can, according to the weapons we have at disposal. But, I guess that's another case, and this thread isn't that suitable - there's one for general talking, after all games of day 4 are past, so we had better move to day 5.
