The participant of phaze of team champions league, Girondins Bordeaux gain over from Santos on principle the final transfer, Brazilian defender Wendela.
24 years old player, which has on one's account episode in Portuguese Nacionalu, four years old contract signed from French club.
Wendel is third competitor which he during summer transfer little window strengthened team led by Ricardo Gomesa. They earlier to team added Johan Micoud and Stephane Dalmat.
Here are my fair odds estimations of this round's over/under 2.5 goals bets:
Lille Bordeaux 2.76 1.57
Lorient Nantes 2.89 1.53
Nice Lyon 2.68 1.60
Sochaux PSG 2.93 1.52
Troyes Toulouse 2.75 1.57
AS Nancy Auxerre 2.94 1.52
Marseille Le Mans 2.45 1.69
Monaco Sedan 2.39 1.72
St Etienne Lens 3.20 1.46
Valenciennes Rennes 2.56 1.64
The point of posting these is to provide you with a point of reference for a further analysis of the total number of goals market. Knowing what odds the statistical analysis of past results suggests, you could modify the estimations given some additional data (injuries, weather, motivation, etc.) to come up with more accurate prices to compare with the bookmakers offer.
To see if what I am comming up here is worth your time vist the thread where the odds are verified. (http://forum.bettingadvice.com/viewtopic.php?t=40370&start=0)
Hi a very difficult week end to predict:
Nice-Lyon:2
Lyon are very strong and the player who played in world cup have had some times to recover. Wiltord will play today with juni and fred.
Nice have a good team but they have some problems this week with injuries in trainning. even if these players could play tonight I think they aren't at 100%.
An away win for me.
Monaco - Sedan:1:
Monaco have 1 pts in 3 games so a victory is needing. They change a lot of players this year and have some important injuries like gerrard in midfield. but the players have a week to train together and yaya touré can play his first game.
QSedan are promoted this year but they don't have a good team and some problems in the club.
A home win
Valenciennes-Rennes:1:
Valenciennes my club. they began with a lot of injuries but some players have recover and can play this game like hassli and roudet. they are without penneteau and Pauwe. It's a team who play with hard work and heart.
Rennes have one pts and they play without Monterubio their best player. they lost for me their 3 good players: frei, kallstrom and gourcuff and hen issacksson.
A home win

Nice - Lyon
This whole weekend is pretty tough to call matches, but i have decided to take 2 or 3 bets. First one will be about the first game played today. Nice are always tough nut to be cracked at home, but Lyon is simply class above them. Both teams have no particular misses, in fact Nice got 3 players back in action. Nice have lost twice with the minimum scoreline and hasnt managed to win at home against Nantes. Lyon has once again proved that the mattch against Toulouse was just a bad day, and managed to beat last year's direct rival for championship title. Today i expect a hard game and Lyon to sneak the victory in the end ,so i am going small stakes on:
Lyon to win by 1 goal margin @3.70 3/10 Gamebookers
LILLE - BORDEAUX
Seems, it will be a draw here. Equal teams in all components, both lost last weekend, but still in good shape and without draws this season (!). In Lille´s favour - homeground, in visitor´s favour - free midweek. So both will try first of all not to lose again, Under is also very possible.
i'm also thinking about going big stakes on Monaco this round becouz they are without win after 3 games and also sedan are poor away team if monaco cant win that they cant win nothing for me its even has value on them becouz odds are good becouz they didnt win nothing yet.....
8/10 home win for me gl.
and i'm also thinking about Auxxere small stake but i'll wait for more info ..
Monaco - Sedan
The perfect opprtunity for Monaco to grab the fisrt victory in this saeson as Sedan - the promoter is visiting them today. Monaco have managed to creat a nice squad, and hire good coach, so its about time for collecting points. They dont have any particular squad problems - thoguh they will have some 3 or 4 missings due to injuries. Sedan also still doesnt has the victory, but i beleive that hey should wait at least till the next round when they will be hosting St.Etienne. Noro is back for Sedan, and they also have some missings, but in overall both teams should be fine tommorow, but i really fancy Mnaco to grab the first victory tommorow, as it is about time.
Home win @1.60 5/10 at Betandgame.com
Valenciennes - Rennes
Will Valenciennes keep surprising. I dont know and i dont care, cause in this game i go for the under 2,5. Amazingly, the first 5 matches played on Saturday finished overs. All of them.
Both teams were changing formations in the opening rounds and couldnt find the one that fits them most. The both have yet to win. Monterrubio, probably the best striker for Rennes currently is out injured, and i dont know why Utaka isnt the replacement but i think it is better like this, as this guy was on fire last season. To conclude, i expect tight game in which both teamswould raher look to save their own goal as a priority and then think of scoring. Savidan, please may tommorow not be your day.
Under 2,5 at 1,62 at SportingBet 4/10
St.Etienne - Lens
Yeah, i will go for St.Etienne today. Though they lost the opener(they actually dont have winning opner in 10 years), they managed to find their game pretty fast and beat two very hard teams - Nancy - a big surprise for me and Monaco - probably the most reinforced team. Lens beat Troyes in the first round, but got heavly trashed on Metropol losing 4 - 0 from Lille. In the 3rd round they have only managed to get one point against Lorient at home. Both squads are almost complete but i expect the in-fom Les Verts grab the victory in the last match this weekend. Just in case of a peacuful draw here i am taing AH line of -0,25

where i can see monaco line up for tonite ?
Le groupe monégasque
Roma, Ruffier - Sambou, Modesto, Bolivar, Givet, Monsoreau, Dos Santos - J.Leko, Bernardi, D.Perez, Y.Touré, Plasil, Menez, Gakpé - Koller, Di Vaio, Grax, Kallon
Blessés : Vargas (cuisse), Meriem (genou), Warmuz (genou), Nimani (cuisse), Gerard (convalescent)
Suspendu : Aucun
Monaco : Sedan 1
With only one point so far after three games, Ladislau Boloni's team Monaco is in desperate need of a victory against the newly promoted Sedan. The visitors manage to draw both games on home ground against Marseille and Sochaux and lost the away game against Nancy with a 3-1 score.
In the last league games between these two teams (1999-2003), Monaco has won all the home games.
I think it will take a while until Monaco will find their pace and became a solid team, as they pretty much changed the team in the summer: they lost Chevanton, Maicon and Squillaci and bought Jan Koller, Jerko Leko and Marco Di Vaio.
Sedan is going through a hard time, with scandals at the club, and I think this could be a highly significant aspect for today's game. Despite the poor debute, Monaco coach was given a vote of confidence and his job is not in danger. He is working for the future and he is known for some good performances in France's Ligue I with Rennes or in Potuguese League with Sporting Lisabon.
I think Monaco is the better team and have more experience to win this game, so I will bet on a home win.

There are excelent odds (2.27 at pinnacle) for OVER 2.5 in Marseille's home game agains Le Mans.
Marseille has shown impressive scoring performance so i do not understand the odds.
Any missings in Marseille front line? Is Le Mans defense so good?

I don't like to bet on over/under but I can agree with you for this match......2 weeks ago I watched Marseille home match with Rennes because Marseille was my last match :) I thought I would be relax but when the match started I saw that Rennes' strikers have made tons of crosses behind Marseille defence and created many many dangerous positions. If Le Mans can score it can be easily over ....But , I don't know if it can be the same defence from Marseille because this is also related with the opponent team's characteristic.....

Yesterday 5 games = 5 over 8O
Over is possible with Marseille for tonight, Le mans play an offensive game but Marseille have a good defence (0 goal in 3 games), but iI think that 2-0 is possible. So it's up to you.

They have fielded the best possible team then, with some modifications in defense cause Cana was suspended also Zubar and Taiwo didnt played due to suspensions.
Here's their line up for that match: http://www.uefa.com/competitions/UEFACup/FixturesResults/Round=2363/Match=84616/Report=LU.html

Marseille didn't play very well thursday, but it was a different approach, because in the first leg, they scored 3 goals(3-3).
Today is totally different, Marseille want to confirm his good beginning, moreover, Cana, one of the best player in Marseille, will play tonight (he didn't play with YB)

Marseille will play with its best players and in an offensive formation again 4 - 3 - 3 with only possible modificayion:Bamogo to replace Maoulida or Pagis. Now after the match in UEFA cup, Marseille has only returned its better players in defence - elsewhere the team is the same. Le Mans will be without its defender Basa, and th longtermed injured De Melo. Le Mans GK is really good and there have been few times last season when he didnt allow goals to let in and money to come to me :) but that doesnt mean that he can save everything. Actually if Le Mans score first there's good chance for the over, but i am skipping this game. Good Luck.
where i can see monaco line up for tonite ?
Roma,Modesto,Bolivar,Givet,Monsoreau,Bernardi,J.Le ko,Plasil,Di Vaio

This is only probable and of course there can be some changes like Toure for Leko, or Kallon for Menez.
