the odds went down to 1,75 for HW now (at BAW). Nothings still been written about the game and that's bad news. Good news are Wisla finally won a game in the league. They also signed Karol Gregorek from Lech (I doubt he will play today) - he's a good player but hasn't had much of match fitness lately. Another thing is their coach got a proposition to be the national coach of.. The Ivory Coast 8O can't they find anyone better ? :)
I've just checked on their site and he still hasen't anouced his decision. Today they only added a news about the referee of todays game - it will be Firat Ayd***305;nus (Turkey).
the odds were tempting for me and still are - Czernomorec draw their league game 2:2 and at the moment after 4 games has 3 points (goals 5:8), Wisla is as their opponents after 4 games 11th but with 4 points.
wisla is known for their maybe not the most attractive style of play (well ok, my friend says they should be relegated for their style of play :) ) - but, but, but ! with a big fan mobilization (read on their forum that there will be one :) ) and the game live on or national tv they won't do this to themselves, their fans and the viewers and get eliminated by Czernomorec?
anyway I don't know really anything about this Czernomorec, so opinions would be appriciated.
the game might be a really boring one and bad to watch = good for the under 2,5 :) I think it's about 1,60 at BAW. Also Wisla 1x at 1,15 if someone's interested. If you're gonna bet on the straight win you will have to believe that wisla will play a really good game, a game above their standards..
I'm still wondering what to do.. maybe someone can help :)
Wisla's Plock games this season:
2006-08-19 Wisla Plock-Pogon Szczecin 2-1
2006-08-13 Wisla Krakow-Wisla Plock 2-0 (with wisla k. in form noone has a chance..)
2006-08-10 Chernomorets-Wisla Plock 0-0
2006-08-06 Korona Kielce-Wisla Plock 0-0 (a point away at Korona sounds good)
2006-07-30 Lech Poznan-Wisla Plock 3-2 (lost 2 goals in last 10 minutes)
2006-07-22 Legia Warszawa-Wisla Plock 1-2 (Polish Super Cup)
Odds around 1.75 are pure joke ,IMO should be atleast at 2.0 .
This Wisla's team is simply nothing special, and had a lot of luck to not conceed in first game in Ukraine, where they defended almost whole game ( yes, right they had their 2-3 chances, but that's it). Just look at shots on goal statistics from first game.
Well u're probably right. But still maybe they didn't want more than a draw away (it's not a bad score if your good at home).
Off topic - here's a great photo showing what a good time the Wisla "Ultras" had travelling to Odessa and how they made the town remember them :)

i must agree.
odds like 1,75 are joke, if somebody wants to play this game beware this odds.
cheers
Some news about Chernomorets.
Venglinskyi and Ostrovskyi (both important) are out - they stayed in Odessa. Not all of the first team players are 100% fit. Some after illness, some after injuries.
Chernomorets had difficult and not very successive start of the season, facing strong teams (Dinamo, Arsenal, Metalurgh Z, Krivbass) and not having first 11 complete.
IMO Chernomorets is a better team than Wisla. I did't watch first leg, and I'm very surprized that they failed to score in Odessa. This time it will be a different game and they will make some changes for sure. Their coach S. Altman mentioned that yesterday as well.
How will that affect the game - very hard to say. IMO this is a 50/50 match now.
Ukrainian bookies are offering around 2.0 - 2.1 for Wisla (Not 1.75).
My conclusion NO BET. Why? To back Wisla? - no way for price of 1.75 and after reading previous posts. Bet on Chernomorets is not worth trying because they are not showing their game this season yet.
Local odds 2.10 2.85 3.40
Plock to qualify 1.95
Chernomorec to qualify 1.75
I think is a fair odds. Overall Chernomorets better team than Plock, they finished on 3rd place in Ukraine last season (Plock 12th). But now i say Chernomorec in horrible form in season start and this fact equalize chanses now. Hard match for betting, i take only one Plock under 1.5 goals @ 1.5 in marathonbet.
I think we need more information about Wisla's player's forms and injures and changes from Poland. Why European books give just 1.75 ?
Why European books give just 1.75 ?
Of course they want simply get more profit. I see even 1.65 for HW in a book. Odds means sometimes nothing in terms of winning chance.
2.32 for Plock now at Pinnacle. It was 2.10 1 hour ago. Anybody knows why?
