Second semi final of the Copa Libertadores de America, is disputed in San Pablo "morumbí" and to full stadium 70.000 spectators, between San Pablo vs. Chivas Guadalajara. The first match is won by San Pablo in Mexico for 1:0. In my opinion these two teams are very equal and they are provided with the precedent in the same cup of two victories for Chivas Guadalajara 2:1 of home and away, and the last precedent won San Pablo 1:0 away. Two teams have the full formation, without injury and suspended. My opinion is in favor of Chivas Guadalajara that always plays better away that when it officiates home. My pick is Chivas Guadalajara +1 1,78 Pointbet

HIGH STAKES

I do not believe that San Pablo if it can win does it for many more than 1 goal, since it is demonstrated by the 3 previous matchs disputed in the same cup.

Sorry for my inglish

I whatched first game between two teams..Sao played much better, they controlled game on midfield, stopped Chivas forwards Bravo and Bautista with good defence line..Chivas played bad at first match Bravo,Pineda,Morales wasnt effective, only Bautista tried does something,he was very passionate..
Both teams full squad..Chivas beat Sao Paulo (1-2) after 19 years in Morumbi..First aim for both teams control the game on midfield, both teams must be cool and careful at first half..
Chivas must score yes, but they'll be careful at first half if Sao score one goal it's gonna be more difficult and maybe impossible game for Chivas..Second Half Chivas will search for goal at Sao field. They will take more risk and Sao will find empty spaces maybe Sao can hit Chivas with counter attacks or Sao can control game on the midfield with their tecnique players like Mineiro,Junior,Danilo..I see half time draw at this game..Sao musn't win,draw good enough for Sao,Chivas dangerous team,Sao will play smart and careful..So my prediction is ;

Under 2.5 Goals @2.00 at Bwin 5/10
Half time Draw @2.10 at Sportingbet 5/10

i agree with achilles, both teams have to be careful not to conceed an early goal, chivas should wait until they can find a space in sao paolo defence, but if they start with an attacking mentality, they can conceed an early goal and final will go away from them.

also sao paolo has 0:1 advantage on away and they will be careful at defence,so i wait a hard game which contains lots of midfield competition and in that situation, under 2.5 goals looks best to me...

under 2.5 goals@2.15@betfair

Late, late preview here.

My pick for this match: Unders @ 2.0 (betfair.com)

Why? many of the reasons already covered above but I will summarise.

The goats of Chivas head to Morumbi to pay in front of 70,000+ São Paulo fans. This season they have played 3 times, Chivas losing in the firt leg in Mexico 1-0 but having recorded two 2-1 wins in the group stages, including historic win from behind last time here, when SP were undefeated for many years at home in this competition.

This time odds on Chivas are nearly as high, which is wrong. It is no longer impossible to come here and win as the goats proved.

For me this match is about Jose Manuel de la Torre getting the tactics right for his team from the beginning. SP tell Brasilian media they will be offensive from first whistle. 1 goal and the tie is dead, unless Chivas score x2 more and don't conceed to go through on away gols.

SP want an early goal. They want to trick Chivas into attacking. But Chivas must be patient. And they have proven with this squad their preperation is very good. Sanchez and Ceni are good keepers for unders backers too.

If there is early gol this match will erupt and SP could win by as much as 3-1. There could also be many goals.

So, in this match picking unders you are essentially betting AGAINST an early goal. It's risky, but you must stake to win.
