I think that this is best line up that italy have(except nesta) and my bet is on them do
i couldn't find swiss line-up but i think that won't be able to beat italy in this squad.

I dont agree with you, that this is a best line up for Italy.

For example in attack they have better players than Del Piero and Gilardino (they were sitting a lot in their squad Juventus and Milan) and these are : Inzaghi and Toni. Inzaghi is in great form and Toni is absolutely the best scorer in Italy.

Italy medicos believe that Gianluca Zambrotta’s thigh injury is not as bad as first feared, meaning he could be ready to go when they begin World Cup play against Ghana.

The initial report suggested that the wingback extraordinaire would do well just to make the Azzurri’s second match on June 17th against the United States, but team doctor Enrico Castellaci believes that judgment was rash.

"This isn't a serious problem," he reported. "We'll look to get him back to full fitness as soon as possible."

"However, the player will remain at Coverciano and will not travel to Switzerland for the friendly."

Italy are also trying to nurse midfielders Simone Perotta and Francesco Totti back to health, but they will also miss the Switzerland test.

Francesco Totti and Alessandro Del Piero will both start in Wednesday’s friendly against Switzerland, boss Marcello Lippi has confirmed.

The Italian tactician has previously opted to use either one or the other in an attacking trident, but both will get the nod in Geneva tomorrow night.

“The decision to use this system is tactical,” Lippi stated. “Del Piero will start on the left so that things will be easier on Totti who is making his comeback.”
