No they arent.. I got Turkey @ 2.00 at Unibet..Even higher other bookies i guess..
Ghana will play at world cup so i think they will play with a good squad.. Best players to see their strength before WC matches..
But Turkey will play 3/4 more friendlies in the next days, so they can afford to play with different players each match to practice.. Young players, new incomer's etc etc
Ghana midfielder Michael Essien will be fit to play in a World Cup warm-up against Turkey on Friday.
The Chelsea player had been doubtful after picking up a toe injury in training.
But the Ghana Football Association said on Thursday they would be able to choose from an injury-free squad for the friendly in Bochum, Germany.
It is the first time that coach Ratomir Dujkovic has been able to select from a full squad.
The four-time African champions were knocked out in the first round of the African Cup of Nations in Egypt in January where they were without the injured Essien and several other key players.
The Black Stars have further warm-ups in Britain where they meet Jamaica in Leicester on 29 May and South Korea in Edinburgh on 4 June.
Ghana's first World Cup match is against Italy in Hanover on 12 June.
They also face the USA and Czech Republic in Group E.
Tyrkey probable will have the support in this game since there are many tyrkes in germany but as mentioned above they probable will field a mixed team tomorrow.For me this looks like an very open afair so 433@Paddy@Ghana has very good value.
National team coach Fatih Terim introduced some youngsters and uncapped players to squad and announced a new formation like 2-2-2-2-2. Turkey has 6 different friendlies at this period and I think he wants to see the new system with different players so there may be some replacements at squad for the match against Ghana.
Turkey played against Belgium two days ago and started brightly to the match. First 30 minutes was wonderful with scoring 2 nice goals and not giving any goal chances to opponent. But then Belgium cut the dominance of Turkey and began to threaten. Other 60 minutes was a balanced affair that two teams created oppurtinities.
Turkey showed a good attacking performance but defensive gaps still remains as the biggest problem. There were also problems at offensive players' comeback. Also youngster Nuri Sahin has been elected as key player at midfield but it's seen that he is still not ready for this role.
But I must say that I'm surprised to see a motivated team on the pitch. Turkey generally has a terrible record at friendly matches because it is hard for Turkish players to motivate. But this time it was different.
I don't want to give any pick before the match squad announced but I agree comments about Ghana. No idea about their team play but when I look the squad I see great midfielders. Essien, Addo, Appiah and Muntari are worldwide proven players.
No matter which players will be in the squad, it is too risky to play 1X2 to a friendly against Turkey. The best choice is over 2.5 or 4 or more goals. IMO there will be lots of goals as in the game against Belgium.

Ghana players are mostly playing in big clubs of Europe. Still they play well as a team. They score easy they concede hard. Essien is back from injury and I think he will play. My country is in a rebuild with Fatih Terim. The match against Belgium showed me that we still concede goals very easily and I think our defense suck I hope they never play in serious matches. I think we can't win against Ghana.

***305;n my opinion ghana is a little bit underestimated by bookies at world cup.ths is becouse they werent succesful at african cup and they dont have agreat history.but they can be the biggest surprise of the cup with pacey and athletic defenders and with their great midfield.maybe their only weak point can be at forward position.butg with a good tactical formation with a lone striker they really capable to do some thing if they are motivated good.but for this game turkey can be little more motivated and we still dont know the line-ups.after we get it we may comment this game better

reasons:
1- Turkey became a new team with some new players. Terim changed the system and just trying to settle it. So the first aim is not winning for our team. On the other hand Ghana is preparing for WC, winning these kind of games is important for self-confidence of players before a big tournament, so motivation factor will be on Ghana side.
2- I was suprised about performance of Turkish players against Belgium. But this time i dont expect the same ambition because Belguim is an european country, they left us out of qualifications several times, we had some problems with them in past years. I think this was the main reason of our players's passion, but now the rival is Ghana, Appiah, Kingston has got many friends in our NT, so i expect a different Turkish national team.
3- Some players will play 2 games in 2 days after a very hard season i expect some signs of tiredness.
4- Turks have always problems when they are playing against physically strong teams. Ghana is one of them. Our technical power is good but Ghana have a great combination of physics and technic this will give hard time to us especially in midfield. Essien, Appiah will be very effective in midfield.
5- Odds are too high for a friendly game and under this conditions.

this time i wont bet on over 2.5
Firstly i think Ghana is better than Belgium especially defensively.They will fight at World Cup and should be ready for that,as a result of that Turkey will find completely differnt team than Belgium this time.
In addition to these Turkey could be more careful at defence because they did many mistakes 2 days ago and coach Terim said that 'we conceeded the goals by gk Rustu,defenders Toraman and Servet'(as always) mistakes.That could be his last chance at friendlies.
Ghana odds are delicious imo
The great problem of all african football nations is the position of the goalkeeper. The gk`s at the african cup were all awful. If the gk will get under pressure, they will show their (big) problems.
Or was at the african cup anybody? I see no surprise of a african team in the WC.

I just can't understand why so many people here backing Ghana in this match. Turkey has some good quality and young players. They want to prove themselves to the team and to Fatih Terim. Terim is trying some new tactics and i'm very confident that he will succeed in this. We got some defensive weaknesses that we saw at last match against Belgium but i don't think that the same happens today. Maybe we concede 1 or 2 but imo we can score more (and imo we won't concede more than 1 in this game). Turkey drew their last 3 friendly matches and it's time to get some good results and boost the confidence. We need it more than World Cup qualifiers Ghana. Match will be played at Germany and this is an advantage for Turkey. IMO Turkey won't lose today but i'm not gonna take any double chances.

Ghana is a physically strong and they won't lose to Turkey before the biggest competition.And Turkey won't hurt them a lot.Turkey likes underdogs.So X2 is the best choice to bet.
