Will come out later with some picks when there are more bookies. However in advance Emmen seems nice, agovv worth a small bet and Almere maybe a +0 bet. All three teams gained a much better squad than last year.
Sparta seems to me a shure bet. Veendam very very poor in matches abroad and they havenīt new signings.
Sparta good in practice games pre-saison
For me a shure bet, maybe 0-1 HC

Almere city - Go Ahead Eagles
Pick: Almere city +0 @ 2.02 Sbobet
Stake: 3/10
Almere city massively improved the quality of their team. Last year they didn't do bad and this year they added more quality. Charles Dissels, Van Zaanen, Meulens and Serrarens are a very good attacking line. The defense is strongened by Keller, Toivomaki which are quality players. To be short, Almere has one of the better squads this season if you ask me. They face Go Ahead, always one of the better teams in the league and always have some quality in their squad but this season i believe Almere city is on the better side. Both teams did well in this pre-season and i think this will be a close game with Almere the most likely winner if there will be one.

Fc Eindhoven - Mvv Maastricht
Pick: Mvv +0,5 @ 1.86 Pinnacle
Stake: 4/10
Eindhoven had a terrific season but now they lost some important players, goalie Swinkels left for PSV as well as Mohktar. Mvv always one of the better side in this league. With Rutjes, Schreurs and Goalie Castro they definitely improved. This line should be at +0 i you ask me, i don't see why Mvv is this much in disfavour.

Fortuna Sittard - Agovv Apeldoorn
Pick: Agovv +0.75 @ 1.90 12bet
Stake: 3/10
Fortuna lost their offensive players (Schreurs, Van Zaanen) who made the difference in the 2nd half of the season when on loan from Willem II. They only gained Rajcomar but for the rest they will have a much tougher season. On the other hand you have Agovv which improved quite a lot, coach Ulderink, Bakx and Joey Godee are real quality players. I see a tough match and odds presume Fortuna is the big favourite here but the quality in their squads are more evened then ever now. So +1 is worth the try.

Emmen a bit the same story as Agovv and Almere. Lots of new players with quality (Bannink (zwolle), Wijks ( Halberstadt), Weghorst (Willem II), Mamedov (Zwolle), Ter Heide (zwolle)) They can also be the surprise of the season and they did perform well pre-season. Beat Veendam easily and coach Joop Gall should be able to do well. Dordrecht then, have always been a home team rather than an away team. Lost important Hulst to de Graafschap, instead Molhoek signed. They still have a bit the same team in quality. I expect a lot of Emmen and -0,25 should be -0,5 i guess.

These are all new players and especially Deul, Overoom, Schmeltz and Luis Pedro have already shown that they can add quality to Veendam. Also Theo Martens is a good players, never made it to Willem II's first squad but he was seen as very talented. Just like de Leeuw i guess and he's now playing for Groningen. Veendam did not do well pre-season instead of Sparta but i'll be carefull to take this team too lightly. I skip this game and wait to see what happens with this team.
Telstar - Helmond Sport
Telstar hopes this year to reward themselves by what vaken points to address, but can no longer hope in Brands and Shelf. The duo leave the club and thus there is more than 50% scoring ability departed with the team. I expect Helmond Sport has learned from last season and it does not slip again to start the new season
All in one a Helmond win for a nice 2.03

If you ask me this teams have the most chance of winning this division in order from high to low.
De Graafschap
Sparta Rotterdam
Excelsior
Cambuur Leeuwarden
Go Ahead Eagles
Outsider: Almere City & Den Bosch
Odds for De Graafschap are dropping big time? Any suggestions why?
Sparta imo huge favourite, then a group with Graafschap, Excelsior, Cambuur, Eagles. And expect Almere, Volendam en Den Bosch to challenge that group.
I don't know what Oss is doing, but their squad isnt first division worth if you ask me. They have a squad of 16 players and will fill the bench with youngsters. With Van der Sloot en Joep Van den Ouweland they have 2 quality midfielders but the rest is from a very low level.
Den Bosch will be like the last 5 years. The team has come together with creative work and almost no budget. If all pieces fall together they can end up top 5 and beat everybody. Although we had some small injuries during the pre season, there were no mutations so we were able to play with the same squad already, which is an advantage in the first matches imo.
Oss is just to worse to compete, so I'm on my own team here. Wolters is suspended and Begois injured.
I'm also on AGOVV +0.75, FC Emmen -0.5 and Excelsior +0.5

Fortuna will win thats for shure , opponent is dramatic in away games.

So because AGOVV had a terrible season last year, specially away, they will underperform in all away matches this year as well? Come on... They strengthend their team while Fortuna got weakenend. Odds are pretty wrong here and AGOVV could grab something.

Didn't watch the games yet but the outcomes where quite like i expected. Almere maybe just failed?
And about teams who perform bad in away games last season: indeed TomFCDB, why should they do the same this year? They improved their squad, they're quite a different team this year i guess.
@ Giorgis, Helmond lost some defenders and gained some. I believe Haastrup and Joppen left, Ter Horst, de Regt came. The rest of the team almost stayed the same. They did won today, i expected a win for them but didn't bet on it.

I will skip first two rounds to see how things are going... from 1st round results and analysis i can see that results are stil thigh and betting still should be careful.. but still, a good round and good analysis from our dutch friends.. cheers and see you in next round!
