SKA St. Petersburg are running neck-to-neck with Traktor for the playoff home advantage, as i doubt any of the other teams can recover the 10 point gap. They will be hosting Salavat UFA at home and it looks like another big win is coming.
SKA are extremely strong at home and the 10-4-1 record confirms it. The 60-31 GD empowers the record and their last two games were just spectacular, as they destroyed Spartak by 10-2 at home, just to go on a very hard travel at Amur to destroy them also 7-3.
Salavat, as Gudzon said several times, are a very good roster with bad coaching and low morale. From total dominance along with Magnitogorsk last seasons, they ended up on 10th place after 30 games, struggling to reach the playoffs. Salavat are just defending terribly this season (more than 3 goals/game conceded), while their goal production has decreased. They are just average now, but there is some potential there. Their away record is 4-4-7 with a 40-45 GD. Salavat seemed to be on an upward trend last two weeks, streaking some wins, but then came a 3-7 humiliation at Dynamo Moskow, followed by a defeat against Torpedo away Then they won 3 in a row again versus some good teams, but against D. Riga they shared a home-and-home series, each winning on the opponent's home ice.
Salavat will have a hard time against SKA's ferocious attacks and good scoring form. This season, SKA already managed a 4-2 win in Ufa, while h2h in last seasons can be ignored since Salavat have collapsed dramatically this season.
SKA are on a good run and Salavat's defense is mediocre this season, therefore i think there is a good value on a handicap win for the hosts. The odds are more than attractive and i will take them with medium stakes. Good luck.

I would't be so sure of SKA victory with -1,5 goal handicap today. If UFA plays today like the 3rd period in Riga (won 3:0, come back from 0:2 and won the game 4:2), then there will be close game. And today's victory is more necessary for UFA than SKA.

SKA Petersburg - Ak Bars Kazan
SKA was defeated at home in previous round with Salavat 4-5 in OT, and it's hard to imagine that they will lose again in second time at home against second big team.. SKA is dangerous this year, and especially at home they are very strong..
Ak Bars is far from their playing level this year, there is a lot of problems inside in this club, and they are playing very poor.. Still there is very strong players and it's risky to underrate them, but I'm sure there will be highest motivation on home side, and think that SKA will take 3 points today..

Atlant Mytishchi - Salavat
Atlant happy days ended in last round against Neftekhimik at home, before it they had 10 game winning run, but I think they just saved energy for this game, because losing energy against lowly teams affects on players, and there is big chance to lose than is very popular and big game like today..
So Atlant ice is very hard place for any team, and Slalavat isn't showing that game what they showed last year, and main reason why I'm going against them is that they won very hard match at SKA in OT, and it was very strained game with many battles on ice..
I don't think that Salavat will be fresh today, and knowing their motivation problems will go against them today.

Dinamo Riga - Neftekhimik
Dinamo played two poor games in last two rounds against Salavat and Ak Bars at home, but their opponents were really big teams than Neftekhimik, and I'm sure they will give today everything not to lose 3th game in a row at home, because they are well known with their hot support there, and it will be shame losing so much at home..
Neftekhimik won at Atlant and with this 3 points they must be satisfied, because they aren't a team who can upset many times, and their are not so compact team like last year, because lost too many important players.. and especially they are playing very poor in away games, and I don't think that they can take something in Riga ..
