Sorry, about opening it already without the odds, but I have to do it already, cause i don´t believe we will see these odds, when I wake up :D

Finland - Sweden

Fathersday and Finland-Sweden hockeygame in Finland. Apparently Santa Claus came earlier this year :).

Ok, last game for both in Karjala- cup. Sweden lost both matches first 2-5 to the Czechs and today 4-1 against Russia. Today Sweden played actually a pretty decent game. Everybody noticed that it was an afternoon game (13.00), because both teams had difficulties to get their engines working. At the end, russians quality prevailed much better and they took a victory. Swedes have lot to do against Finland, that´s for sure.

Finns won today against the czechs 4-0. They were a mile ahead almost every shift. Finnish first line were dangerous in every shift and they scored all four goals. Finnish coach said, that the game was best game for a while.

This match is first between neighbours after WC final, where Finland beat Sweden 6-1. Normally this would be a perfect opportunity to take a revenge, but this time it is very difficult, even to imagine. Finland has been so much better during the tournament. Finland have allowed just one goal in last 120min, Sweden instead 9.

Finland has the best roster possible, Sweden doesn´t. This game will be very important for every Finn. Spectators will be fired up, because beating Sweden is the most important thing in hockey for every Finn :). So no underestimating is not possible. I am taking the odd already, cause it´s hard to see 1.9 odd possible of getting tomorrow.

This should a clear win tommorrow for the hometeam. They really want to thrash to Swedes, no doubt about it. Somebody would think it´s stupid to go full stakes again, but I see huge value, AGAIN :)

Russia - Czech Republic

Russia with a victory wins the tournament. They won Finland 2-1 after penalties and Sweden 4-1. Czechs won Sweden 5-2 but lost 4-0 against Finland.

Russia and Finland have been by far the best teams in the tournament. As I said before, with a straight victory, they win the tournament. They have one major thing aswell. Czech played against Finland an evening game today. They have only 18 hours before the puck is dropped again. Russia will have much fresher legs for that game.

I think Russia has a better roster, much more motivation and "home audience" , despite game being played in Finland. I see value in Russia.

Pick: Russia 1.8 at Boylesport 4/10

You claim that this game is important to every Finn?. Certainly not to this one and not to the majority of finns. Icehockey is so small and marginal sport that that there is no magic or real sportmanship. There is far too many unimportant games and tournaments like this one. always the same four countries and no real competition. Besides bettingwise icehockey sucks also because the games often are without meaning, just boring business as usual.

There is far too many unimportant games and tournaments like this one. always the same four countries and no real competition. Besides bettingwise icehockey sucks also because the games often are without meaning, just boring business as usual.

1. Ice-hockey is "bigger than ever" in Finland. The main reason is because we won WC and we host the next championships.

2. Ice-hockey marginal sport, oooh WHAT? It´s always been the biggest sport for Finns and it will be. There´s stupid even to debate about it. If u have lived in a forest whole your life, u probably don´t know it.

3.Unimportant games?. As I said before we´re hosting with Sweden the next WC. If these games were unimportant why did our coach chose the best team possible? 16 last year WC´s, it´s important advertise that. Is it coincidence that the arena is full?

4. If u have something to say, please explain your points. Otherwise it´s no use to say these things, which are not the truth.

- Please look at the game, if u can. 13,5k people cheering for Finland, if that´s marginal or boring i don´t know nothing about this sport :)

Finland 1-0. Granlund amazing pass and Immonen put the puck into the empty net.

What do you have against hockey? If u don´t like what are u doing here? hockey is not a marginal sport anywhere else. Yes, I agree that, football is bigger in most parts of europe. Do you think that hockey is a small sport for example in Russia? For your knowledge hockey is also played outside Europe ;)

You seem to love some other sports, (must be football). I don´t come here to share my negative thoughts about football for example. Unfortunately in our country there are some people who can´t enjoy if a another sport does well. I simply just doesn´t understand you.

If u feel bad, please go somewhere else to put your negative energy. We´re here to make some money, not to hear some nonsense from a guy who clearly doesn´t know what he´s talking. I would have so much to say but this is not the time or place ;)

PS. I hope that we get into WC or EC sometime in football, I really do. I just hope you could be proud of other people not to be so da*n jealous :) Have a nice day :D

Well well, It was not me who took this little argument to a personal level speaking about negative energy and such nonsense. I was just stating a few facts in response to your absurd claim that "everyone" in Finland is watching and caring about this hockey game.

You can keep your illussions about icehockey being a serious sport in european level but fact is that in most EU countries hockey has zero visibility and is totally unknown. Second fact is that there is far too much meaningless games in hockey. For example this Karjala-tournament was totally meaningless to Sweden. They had maybe one or two players who would be in a serious national first team.
