NY Jets at Pittsburgh Steelers, 8:00 PM ET

Is there anyone interested in this preseason game? The Steelers look like they can cover -5 spread, however it's just an early thought from me at the first glance. I may post an analysis on this matchup couple of hours before the game if I can find the time.

Extreme caution should be taken on ALL preseason games as the starters will play between 3 drives and one half each...you will be betting on 2nd 3rd and fourth stringers to finish the half, some of whom will not even be on the team next week. Generally not a wise bet, unless you have information regarding a team that wants to prove something (redskins) or a team that has stated that winning is important to them (last two years of vikings). even then I don't bet, but i know a few people that do, with mixed results.

Too many injuries on the NYJ o-line, as well as too many new faces in their
secondary. Better depth with Pitt QB's.

Small bets on under and Pittsburgh are still looking good to me, but I'm just passing the game. The Steelers might be playing with the less zest lest they can get injured.
