Formula 1 European GP Qualifying 1 (FRI) H2H
Michael Schumacher - Rubens Barrichello 2.70 at Nordicbet.
New qualifying system this year in formula 1. Drivers are alone in track and they have only one chance to make a good time. The fastest driver on friday leaves last from pits on saturday. And times on saturday are relevant when qualifying to GP. Michael Schumacher leaves pits first today because he´s leading drivers championchip right now. Especially in friday that´s not an advantage. The first car always have to clean the track before the other drivers. Track is more slippery and it´s easier to make mistakes during that only lap. Kimi Räikkönen has been it that situation several times this season. Big difference compared to the second driver to leave pits. Rubens Barrichello leaves 6. today. Only once this year the situation has been similar. That was in Australia and then Rubens was 0.7 seconds faster than Michael on friday. Might happen again.
H2H in European GP:
Michael Schumacher - Rubens Barrichello 1.30 at Nordicbet.
Rubens starting from square 5 and Michael from square 2. Just by driving a sure think. Not to mention that if it happens that in the end of the Grand Prix Rubens had a chance to leave Michael second... No way. Team orders are forbidden this season but no doubt there wouldn´t be a battle between these two. Of course even F1-cars get broken but Ferrari has been so trustable this season that not expected that either.
Quintet (in Centrebet):
Kimi Räikkönen
Montoya
Ralf Schumacher
R Barrichello
D Couthard
Kimi´s odds here is 2.10. Kimi has pole position. Ralf in square 2, Montoya square 4, Rubens in square 5 and David square 9. Eight Grand Prixs behind this season and Kimi´s race kraft is the best of them all. Not once happened this year that Kimi´s position after GP had been worse than after qualifying. Sure it has to happen some day but hopefully not today. If rain occurs then drivers with Bridgestone have advantage. In this group only Barrichello has those tyres. No rain promised today anyway.
Ladbrokes give 2.62 Kimi Räikkönen. Good bet.
K Räikkönen 2.62
R Schumacher 4.33
J P Montoya 4.33
R Barrichello 4.50
D Coulthard 9.00

My tips for the race:
SchumacherM to win
I really don't like him but sadly I can't see anyone who could beat him at this perticular circuit, home GP for schu and he won here 4 times already '95 '00 '01 '02. If nothing unexpected happens (mechanical failure, accident) he is the only favourite in this race
Montoya should be quick as usual but most of the times he cannot use his speed to win. Raikkonen will fight with the Williamses, if his pit strategy is right he should end the race on podium maybe with both Schumachers, Michael 1st Kimmi 2nd or 3rd
fun picks: drivers not to finnish the race:
Frentzen- he is in a really bad psychical conditon, didn't finnish couple of previous races and is under much pressure, Sauber's reliabillity this season is terrible!
Firman- Jordan is really struggling for the whole season, reliability of Ford's engine is also problematic. I think that at least one of the cars will not come to the end and Fisichella is much more expirienced than brits rookie
and of course both Minardi cars are very likely not to see the finish line... (as usual)
HtH:
Raikkonen - Coulthard - david is to far behind may get stuck in traffic altouh I can see Coulthard in top6
Barichello - Trulli- Renaults start like rockets, if Jarno has the right strategy no problem to keep Rubens behind
Well, I guess I'm getting out of shape recently... just as Schumacher is  but that is a very positive symptom!!! Maybe it won't be so borring anymore? Kimi did great but maybe Nurburgring isn't for drviers from Finland?('97 1st PolePos.for Hakkinen-in race out on lap 43 when leading... coincidents?? ) Congratulations to Williams team!! But then again, the race was won by Schumacher
Nxt GP in one week in France!!!
