I have to say that i've seen only extended highlights of the game from Eurosport and not the whole game but from what i saw the numbers tell the truth in that case. I think that besides the value in the price of Sporting the best bet for this game is under 2.5. Udineze will play like they played in Portugal and if they get lucky from a free kick or a counter attack they will seek for the goal. If again Sporting scores a goal first i think that none of the teams will risk to make a goal because it is much easier to concede one. What you guys think? I believe that this is the best pick of the day.

I'm a supporter of Udinese but I will try to be objective :wink:
I' ve seen the whole match and I must say that it's true that Sporting had a great possession of the ball but the opportunities to score wasn't so clear and numerous as you might think. On the other hand Udinese played a very ordinate and defensive game hoping in counterattack.
They have been lucky they have overstep the mifield line 3 times; one goal, one crossbar the other Iaquinta find himself alone against Ricardo. So IMO the difference has been made by the two defences.
I'm sure that we will see a copy of the other match with Sporting that will try to create and Udinese that will destroy and counterattack. Who will prevail ? IMO the chances are 33% 33% 33% so at these odds you can try a little bet on away win. I will go on under.
Udinese analysis
Defence:
nothing to say, great match in Lisbona especially the newcomer Natali. The charismatic captain Bertotto will play and will be a Key of the match in a team that is a bit too young for a matck like this.
Midfield:
very defensive with the only Muntari that is able to create. The two wings Zenoni and Candela have exclusively defensive tasks (even if the French has shot the crossbar in Lisbona). Obodo is the classic midfielder born to run, to growl and to bite.
Attack:
very fast and appropriate for the counterattack with all the eyes aimed on Iaquinta the surprise could be Barreto very young, fast and talented player

And I kinda agree, probably we will see a copy of first match.. It's gona be tough for Sporting to break them now in Italy.. Udine won't rush anything, and in that situation hardly they will loose.. But I guess UNDER is best option..

I don't agree that home win has only 25% chance. Udinese will be careful, but they will try to hit on their counter attacks. Sporting are very vulnerable at counter attacks (remember CSKA Moscow's counter attacks at UEFA Cup final)...

Last year ha has been a key player in Serie B where he played in Treviso and he has scored 12 goals (but consider that in the first part of the season he wasn't a regular and then he suffered a bad injury so he missed a lot of games).

Yes... X seams very good. But i don't take that risk. X2 is what i want!
who follow the campionato, knows that Udinese, last years, was better playing away: counterattack is what they can do better, in portugal the only chance thay had was in counterattack. now playing home, will be hard, really hard for them.
i watched the first game, stats show that was only sporting, it is true. after the game i decided to bet on sporting in udine. never seen sporting play away, but my confidence on them is high.
udinese in the first match showed a very very poor level of football, evan napoli play better this year.
Italian teams often make mistakes at home, they play easier away, because they know there what they have to do: defend, defend, defend... :lol:
The problem is that their opponent are Sporting and like Macot said Sporting and Benfica are losersssssssss. :lol: If this was Porto or some other serious team I would bet on x2 or DNB 2. Now I am still wondering. I have odds 1.75 for X2, 2.625 for 2 DNB and 3.60 for an away win, which are nice odds in my opinion.
Udinese is not some european grand. Sporting has much experience in Europe but this final with CSKA last season in Lisbon was one of the most funniest game I ever seen. First Portugal lost the final with Greece in Lisbon, then Sporting lost the final with CSKA in Lisbon... this is strange, one can ask: How can exist such losers? :lol: There is something rotten in Portugal maybe :lol:

My idea is that udinese can do everything also in the bad aspects. But they said to have learnt the lesson of Austria V. (if I remeber well the team that kicked them out from Uefa Cup during the last season).

Sorry to disagree with you Macot but i think you're not right. In the last decades Porto has been the best team in Portugal but Sporting was runner-up last year in the Uefa Cup and Benfica was in an European final on the late 80's.
If you consider the money that portuguese clubs have compared to clubs from Spain, France, Italy, England or Germany you would know that sometimes portuguese clubs do miracles, you just have to look at Porto when they won Uefa and Champions League. How many players did you know on that team? Few i guess...
About today's game I think that best bet is under. Italian team with 1 goal advantage, closed game and few chances. Sporting has been playing with Liedson and Deivid up front and this double is not working very well yet. In my opinion, Deivid is not playing well, he looks to slow and he's limiting Liedson's game what is bad for Sporting since Liedson is Sporting top goalscorer.
I might try Sporting to qualify with small stakes since Sporting when in a good day is a pretty good team. Last year they made some pretty good games. I can remember Sporting - Newcastle 4-1 (Uefa quarter-finals), Feyenoord - Sporting 1-2 (Uefa 1/8 finals) and a few impressive games in Portugal.

Hey Macot, careful with portuguese teams. I watch lots of games here in brasil, and the championship is competitive.
They are the country with best record in european cups in last 3 years, with 10% of the budget of others. fcporto with uefa, then champions, and sporting with uefa cup final.
Besides, fcporto last year won nothing but that promotional continental cup in japan, and it was against once caldas who was really nothing special, and in penalties. So last year fcporto were the loosers, as their budget is twice Benfica and more than sportingīs. Benfica is the champion now, so they canīt be called loosers. Sporting did good season but their keeper and coach gave everything away.
Careful with your money here. But I know you know that, you probably have bad day and have stomach pain or something.

I think this match will be under 2.5 goals....
I donīt like Sporting, but I want them to go through. But the truth is they have no chance. In the first leg they were totally ripped off by the referee. Today, although Udinese is playing much better and probably deserving the advantage, they again are being ripped off!!!!
I donīt know if I should laugh or cry!!!! 8O
Thought these type of refereeing stopped after the games were broadcasted on TV, as they would be embarrassed.
Now it seems that shame has gone totally...
