I'm really sorry to say that the third round has been postponed, but it will surely start on Sunday. Koffieboer and me need more time and we're currently negotiating with several bookies about sponsorship and prices for the competition! I will give more information about the next round on Saturday.

Until the bookies give us money, let's try to take it from them
My pick for Saturday:
Lyon(-1) - Le Havre(+1) 1, @1.67 in plannet pinacle.
The explanation is here:

Okay, we're waiting and I totally agree with holonia, let's rob them :)

My pick for today:

Nurnberg - Schalke 04 - 2 Odds: 2.50 at Expekt

Nurnberg have awful home record against the top 5 teams in Germany
0-0-5 and Schalke are currently 6-th. Also Schalke have a great balance vs. the teams under 10th place 4-1-1. The away team have a new playing-coach Marc Wilmots but this is never sure to help them for the win but surely the players will try to make best impression. Asamoah will not play due to a number of yellow cards but still looks like a good away win.

Okay then, since there's no competition I suppose there isn't any odds limit either... Right ???
Therefore...try this for size :

Real Madrid v Rayo Vallecano  2........................ 15.50 at Scandic :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!:

And... by the way : I'm not aiming at contradicting our experts on Spain (e.g. Holonia) ! Also, I'm not doing it because a few big names are gonna be missing from Real (Zidane, Makelele, Helguera). Real Madrid has more than adequate bench to compensate...

This pick is just working on the premise that Real has several great excuses (e.g. the M.U. game midweek, fatigue) to be thrown at fans and punters alike, should good ol' neighbours Rayo be 'ASSISTED' in staying in Primera for one more year...

Good luck to all ... 8)

If the new round isn't starting.. then i have time to finish the last one.. I still have one pick to end this competition... And i need something over 3.50 to end up with profit so i will take a game that i think will surprise the bookies for sure...
It is from the Romanian league...
My pick:

Fc. Arges - Dinamo 2/2 @ 4.00 with Wettpunkt

I think this could be an authentiq fixed game as Dinamo haven't managed to win a game from the restarting of the championship till now... THe coach from FC Arges is a good friend of Dinamo's manager... And all in all i think that Dinamo has more quality then FC Arges and now with the new coach is giving them the much needed good instructions...
I will have to tell you that my home town is PItesti where FC Arges plays and you can see that my pick isn't subjective at all.. I sugest you take it with medium-high stakes if you find odds better than 2.4 for away win....

Holland Casino Eredivisie de Graafschap - Feyenoord HT/FT 2/2 Centrebet@1.75

De Graafschap are without strikers van Vossen (left the club) and van der Haar (injured) and defender Bot (suspended). Feyenoord is almost at full strength and fighting for the second place with Ajax. Feyenoord is scoring very easy the last few matches (winning streak >6) and against such a poor squad, I expect them to open the score before halftime and consolidate.

Borrusia Dortmund - Werder 0:1 1 AH @ 2.0 on Gamebookers

My first pick here.

Borrusia is out of CL and now is focused only on domestic league. There can not be first, they want to be second, which brings CL without qualifications. There main goal this year is to prepare team for next year, to be second in league and to reduced difference to Bayern. There is first opportunity.

In my opinion, Färjestad @ 2.25 is the best pick of the day!

OK, I will try to pick a good one ´cause it is the last one in this round (this round was not so good but I think the next one will be much better). 8)
Sorry for all the bad ones

Today :

Schottland Division 3

East Stirling v Queens Park 2 @ 1.95 Gamebookers)

East Stirling home 0-4-11 goals 10-39
Queens Park away 3-5-6 goals 15-19

I think this is the ONE

Tahoma, I am looking forward for the new competition. Keep up the good work

GL everyone

Prag, you were so close :!: Although your bet didn't win in the end, I think your opinion was very very interesting, it gave us a different point of view and something to think about!

Thanks, but no....cigar, Holonia !   Actually, a game with striking similarities to this one was Austria v Admira, on Saturday afternoon, and a HIGH-PRICED AWAY WIN resulted there...

It is my firm belief that ''this different point of view'' as you put it, MUST always accompany our betting thoughts come March or April of each year :!: :!: :!: It accompanies me ALL year long, but then... what do you expect from Greeks ???

Cheers !!! 8)
