well IMHO TuSSem Essen is closer to win. They are playing in excellent form for quite some time. They are trying to catch Magdeburg on the third spot that leads to Champions league next year.
Altough Magdeburg has 4 points advantage it isn't impossible to catch them, because Magdeburg's schedule until the end of championship is catastrophical.
Essen will be playing without Roggisch and Torgovanov and that might be a problem since they are only two real pivots playing for Essen.

Wallau on the other hand is having a different kind of problems, financial problems. Players didn't received their paychecks since january. And the team is really falling apart. Peruni***269;i***263; already left Wallau for Qatar, Immel is still injured and I guess he won't play anymore this season since the club and the player agreed that they will part ways at the end of the season.
Tiedtke and Grimm already signed contracts with TV Grosswalstadt for the next season and altough they are professionals you've got a keep in mind that they didn't received their paychecks for some time now. Lavrov signed contract with Hamburg for the next season.
So the situation in Wallau isn't the best one.
At the top of it all, they lost their last game at Dusseldorf. And eventough they were leading with 5 goals advantage at HT, they lost 32:29. Wallau is also hoping for taking the 7-th place that leads to Euro cups next season. But it will be very hard for them to catch Gummersbach.
Anyway I see big value on this odds on Essen, and my local bookie is offering handicap +1,5 on Essen which I already took but I'm still thinking of taking that +0,5@1,95 offered by Centrebet.
