View Full Version : Liverpool v Everton 20 March 2005
Liverpool v Everton 1.85 3.15 3.80 ( odds form hk jockey club)
it is crucial match for both side :?
Birmingham City v Aston Villa 2.3 3.1 2.75
Middlesbrough v Southampton 1.85 3.25 3.65
Your poll does not included a score draw ie. 1-1, 2-2 etc...
Anyway, if Liverpool lose they will NOT get 4th, even a draw will make it tough. This is a real 6-pointer!
I hope everyone will lean towards Everton WIN..
Liverpool is a team that can only win when no one thinking they will win
Sami Hyypia has recovered from the stomach bug that restricted him to the substitutes' bench on Wednesday when Liverpool drew with Blackburn and should return to the starting line-up against Everton on Sunday.
Mauricio Pellegrino stepped into central defence in Hyypia's absence but it is expected that boss Rafael Benitez will revert to his first choice pairing of Hyypia and Jamie Carragher against the Toffees.
Also returning will be John Arne Riise on the left of midfield, having been rested - until his half-time appearance as substitute - against Blackburn.
Djimi Traore is still out with a knee problem, while Harry Kewell is not expected back for three weeks because of ankle, Achilles and groin injuries.
James Beattie returns to the Everton ranks after his three-match suspension.
The £6million striker has been sidelined for a month since his red card against Chelsea because of Everton's lack of fixtures.
Everton boss David Moyes must decide whether his record signing starts the match or is used from the bench.
Moyes also has injury worries over Spanish midfielder Mikel Arteta (ankle) and winger James McFadden (hamstring).
Steve Watson, who made a reserve comeback this week after a stomach muscle injury, could also be used on the bench.

It's a simple equation in my opinion. If Liverpool don't win, they will not be playing ECL next season. It might also determine Steven Gerrard's club for 2005/06...
Hyypia and Carragher will be central defenders tonight as Pellegrino heads back to the bench after the 0-0 draw against Blackburn mid-week. Riise will play left midfield in absence of Harry Kewell
For Everton, James Beattie returns after serving a 3-match ban however injury clouds still hover over McFadden and Arteta.
For the motivation and home ground factors, I will probably back Liverpool tonight. Anfield will be absolutely packed and the Kop in full voice. It won't be easy for the Toffees. On the other hand, Everton have not completed a league double over Liverpool in 20 long years and will be keen to do so!
Liverpool win 7/10 @ 1/90
Liverpool 1-0 exact score 2/10 @ 7.00
Last meeting:
Everton 1 Liverpool 0 @ Goodison Park, December 11, 2004
I agree about possible 1:0 result, but I can't find odds better then @5.5 in my local bookies.. But still I will put small stake on 1:0.
Anyway I will go Liverpool to win medium high stakes..
They MUST WIN!
Though there is no Home Form factor and Liverpool has been relying on their home form...but I believe Liverpool will play to their potential at their own ground....
Look at the players and compare one to one...Liverpool attacking force is way ahead...with more creativity....
Moreover Liverpool defence has strengthened so far..and Everton will have problem breaking them down even with their Horse work rate....
Although Liverpool always disappoint when everyone expect them to win....I still have "pinhole" hope that they will win...
Liverpool to scorefirst...@ 8/10
