Poiree leads the world cup he has shown very good form through the whole season. Poiree's worst finishing position is 6th (if I remember right).
While Gross usually finished 10th or worse. In Ruhpolding last week, He shot one miss and finished 6th, which is his best pos. so far in this season. Poiree was second just few seconds behind Bjoerndalen. This is the seconnd 20km individual competition in this year. The first was in Holmenkollen. Poiree finished 5th place and Gross was 13th and almost 1.30 minutes behind Frenchman. Last year Poiree was second and Gross was third in Anterselva, but this year Gross isn't in the same form anymore. Poiree fight for the win, he probably can't beat Bjoerndalen, but he should be able to beat Gross quite easily.

Individual 20km race is the biggest lottery. Skiers visit 4 times the shooting range and the penalty for a missed shot is no longer an extra lap of 150m (which would take normally around 23-25 s), but an entire minute. This race favours very good shooters and often outsiders climb up to the top spots; previous races don't matter so much. Conclusion - very hard to predict something, Bjoerndalen is the biggest favourite, he should win his H2H. I just like to pick randomly some competitors and put very small stakes on them, unfortunately I can't find all of them. So, here are my surprises for today: Simmen, Derkach, Cannard, Vitek, Rottman, Ryzhenkov.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think Antholz is higher. I think Antholz is over 1000 meters
