As I planned, this competition will end after all competitors have made 15 picks. I don't expect everybody in the list to complete the competition and pick 15 bets, so I will delete people who doesn't seem to care about the competition "Pick of the day". If you want to stay in the competition, just post a pick at least every third day.
Koffiboer (658 points) and Pate (557 points) have already made 15 picks, so from now on I won't update their score, but I hope they keep posting their best pick every day here. Specially you, Koffieboer, because I liked your picks and the purpose of this competition is not only to find a winner, it's more about exchanging people's best pick every day so that we can find good and confident bets here.
After you have finish this competition, please check your score to see if it's correct.
For those of you who don't know, Parbet, Betfair, Swapbets and Betdaq are examples of exchange bookies. You can find explanation about what an exchange bookie is here (http://www.bettingadvice.com/showInfo.php?id=18).
The reason for not allowing you to choose exchange bookies (and local bookies), is just that these bookies often have the highest price on the market, but the fee isn't included in that price and I guess not many of you have an account with any of these bookies. I have also seen that you pick bookies like Euro-tip, Kwette, Marathonbet, etc which people never heard of and I don't like that either. Try to select known bookies like Gamebookers, Interwetten, Centrebet, Unibet, etc. I think you got the point.
Enough about that. I will wait until Saturday with my last pick in this competition, so I won't give you a pick today.

Hi everybody,i am new here,but tonight match between Verona and Venezia is very insteresting.At betinternet,they are offering 2.00 for home win,2.60 for draw and 4.20 for away win.I suggest punting 3/10 for away win and 5/10 on draw.In this way you are sure to make a profit even if win or draw!Right?

My Pick on one of the first days of the competition was COLDPLAY to be best group at Brit Awards! That was an early pick, because the odds were closed on this day. Yesterday, Coldplay won! So, this pick is won too!

my pick of the day is....Cleveland Cavaliers-Philadelphia 76ers....6.5 : 0 ;1.93 @ Canbet(If Canbet isnt possible then GameBookers 1.91)
Cleveland is 2-8 in their last 10 matches.They are far the WORST team in the NBA @this moment.Cavs have only 4-28 in the eastern conference;yet Philadelphia is back on track to reach full form for the playoffs.
Sixers are 7-3 in the last 10,and they are 22-14 in the east.
They have 4 consecutive wins.
As "regular" win has too low odds,i ve decided to play handicap.
I think PHILLIE will win surely this match,maybe even 15 or 20 +,even though they play an away match.
Finally "the Answer",Coleman,and co. have figured out the way to win 5 or more straight;so i believe this will be an easy win.

On feb 4th, the Tampa Bay Lightning was within 3 points of Washington, for a lead in the division, which would give them an excellent 3rd seeding in the playoffs. They lost. things looked grim as the points behind grew to 5, and the losses/draws kept coming. Then, magically, the first game that I went to this year, they turn it around (5-2 against Boston) and have won 3 in a row, and thanks to a few Washington losses, Tampa now finds themselves only 2 points behind washington with 2 less games played. Momentum has definitely swung their way, and I don't see a struggling Carolina with no chance to make the playoffs getting in their way. Carolina has LOST 7 of their last 10, tied 2, and won 1.

After 2 weeks of time did i find out tha KOBE BRYANT is not a human... He has to be a machine.. But as he is still breating he has to stop one day.

SHAQ can return tonight. But as i know , SHAQ always plays bad after 2-3 matches without playing. Now this is the match he will play bad. And sit on the bench.

Hey Koffieboer i have a question for you man...DO YOU EVER LOSE???Hehe, I lose too often! I make too many mistakes. But I can tell you one thing: I am a bad loser. Not only when betting, but also when playing sports myself, and even the unimportant cardgames.
Nothing occurs by accident. Think about the consequences of every outcome, or keep away from the event. The expectation patern is important.
Here in Greece ,though, we say that "he who losses in card games...wins in love" :) :) Good work man 8)
