Hi,

My first ideas are two outright bets at Austrian booker Wettpunkt:

Men:

Neureuther podium @ 8.0

I think he is one of the coming stars and races all or nothing - a hungry racer with enormous talent and skills. Maybe also the winning bet @ 30.0 is considerable?!

Ladies:

Meissnitzer to win @ 15.0

I think this is too much, Meissnitzer may suit this track. I do not understand that she gets higher odds here than say Kostelic.

Thats it for now, comments very welcome. Now working at the H2Hs at Expekt (again very good selections) and Back2Bet, where again most of the money of all exchanges is traded in alpine skiing.

Cu later, XXXgambler

I totally agree with Neureuther pick!
He is going to explode one day, he has form, just need to make the winning puzzle.
But, I dont like Meissnitzer to win.
Obviously, she had problems today in Super G so I really doubt, she likes the course. I would say, we will need to find a winner outside Austria!
GL!

I dont agree, Lakini, Neureuther is by a second faster in WC races than Vogl.
Dont forget, Neurether had 3/4 good runs this season (was 6th in Beaver Creek and fell in Sestrieres after he was 4th in the first run).
Vogl is good old Vogl, always a talent that cant deliver. He couldnt qualify in BC and was far slower than Neureuther in the first run of Sestriere...
Neureuther is good breed  and I think, he will show more this season!

My candidates for top5 are:
Miller
Palander
Raich
Neureuther
and as always there will be some surprises:
one Japanese (Sasaki or Minagawa)
Rothrock
Grandi!
Šporn (forget Grubelnik)
Moellg (I am waiting for this fella to bring top5 result again!)

Flops are (IMO)
Matt
Pranger
Kostelic
other SLovenians
GL !

B.Miller, Raich, Palander, Schonfelder, Rocca, Pranger, Matt, Zurbriggen, Kosteli***263;, Moelgg, Sasaki A. are the skiiers that in my lockal bookie...
What do you think of Podium place of other skiiers @ 2.3...
How high stake it is worth...
Thank you and GL....

B.Miller Schonfelder 1.5 - 2.25
Palander Pranger 1.5 - 2.25
Those duells looks interesting to me, any oppinions...

Felix is good, but Alois likes the Hill at Flachau, had his best result there last year.

Well, you have Rothrock, Moellg,Brolenius,Neureuther, Grandi left as dark horses for top 3 places.
Now, it is important to know, that Austrian dont make good piste conditions for slalom, but Flachau is different, they only have technical disciplines on program now and they were always good at preparing the course. So I think, this gives higher numbers (and thus surprises) better chance.
Unfortunately, I couldnt watch GS today, so I dont know the piste conditions, but looking at the numbers of good placed skiers, I would say, conditions were good.
In slalom also there will be some skiers out because of mistakes and also, Kostelic is totally out of form, so you can write him off.
It gives quite a lot of space for other to reach top3.
Now, if you decide to take a pick at odds 2,00-3,00, than you cant combine, take only one skier (or other)...
From your picks I like Palander the most.
GL!

I have to say, I didnt check that, thanks for mentioning it.
Perhaps than Vogt could make something.
It looks like the conditions will be good for higher numbers it is always good for the race.

BTW- be cautious, when you are betting on Miller on such skinny odds.
Firstly, he likes to finish in snow, secondly, his form is decreasing and thirdly, you are betting against a solid Austrian in Austria.

This goes to everyone, I am usually quite good in my rankings, I am just too lazy to post them here everytime..:)

Hi Macot, I totally agree when it comes to the Miller part of your posting - but I have so far not found evidence that home advantage plays a similar role in skiing as it does in football.

Anyway, forget Miller 1.5 vs Schönfelder - this is money throwing out of the window, on the long run.

Hey, after the lively night discussion all members still seem to be asleep?

Hm, I think if you want to back Miller by all means, the odds of 1.75 for him against Rocca (Back2Bet.com) are the much better choice. Rocca isnt such a sollid driver also and odds are simply much higher.

In the duel Matt v Neureuther, odds are almost even and I think this is correct.

Starts in 20 minutes ... 8)

I took Grandi to be 1-10 @ 2.0 and after 1 ride he is 10-th  ....
I hope he is going to be at least 10th...GL
