View Full Version : SNOOKER - Grand Prix
Thatīs 1st ranking event of the new season, so itīs very difficult to predict. But I will try it.
I decided to take back my tips for Hann, Fu, Stevens (bad quotes) and to make some changes in the value. So my final prediction:
1) Perry will beat Ali 9/10
2) Hunter will beat D.Morgan 9/10
3) Ebdon will beat Bedford 8/10
4) OīSullivan will beat M.Davis 7/10
5) King will beat Jogia 7/10
6) Doherty will beat Davies 7/10
7) Williams will beat Judge 6/10
8) Higgins will beat Walden 6/10
9) White will beat Wallace 5/10
-----
Bets for fun (a little bit):
10) Parrott will beat Wattana 4/10
11) Robertson will beat Holt 4/10
12) Long will beat Drago 3/10
I would be thankful for Your opinion.

I will try a sponsoring bet  on Tony Drago, I like this player!
Namely, I took Drago at 1,65 (B&W) covered with Long 5:0 @26 and Drago 5:0 @21 (1/10 stakes)!
If you know Tony Drago, then you will know, why I took these...
I also took Sean Storey to beat Steve Davis at 2,35 4/10 stakes!
:P

Hehe, I knew it!!
Tony won HIS way, trailing 0:3 and winning 5 succesive unfortunately, he did not win them straight 5:0.
So, 5:3 and of he goes to Round 2!!
:P
Uffff... Nearly 3 days came everything O.K., but the last session was absolutly terrible (Higgins and King). I struck home my main ticket (Perry, Hunter, Ebdon), but 2 others came down.
Today I will bet once more for Perry, I find a quote about 1,75 very invitated. For tomorrow I will try to go against injured Jimmy White.
Good luck to all.
For tomorrow I will try to go against injured Jimmy White.
8O 8O :?:

Anything wrong? This is the part of original message:
But White, who admitted afterwards he had been forced to have injections to supress the pain, was thankful he won the last two frames gripping afternoon session.
"It was a very close call," said the Daily Record Players Champion, who injured his back while playing an exhibition 9-ball pool match against Darts player, Phil 'The Power' Taylor.
"It was killing me," added White. "I was very lucky to be 3-1 up. I had a few injections to help me, but I've been in a lot of pain.
Jo
Yes.Jimmy has got back problems. He struggled big time in 1st match.
Anyway ill go today with Zoolander-Graeme Dott. IMo Odds are just fine.
I wrote a prediction on front page. ill also take Hunter handicap of -1.5.
Hunter played bad in 1st round still won 5-3..can only get better.
Others aer to tough.

Iīm absolutly agree with Hunter. Iīm not sure for the score 5-2, but I believe, that 1,40 for his win is an overquote, because I expected quote about 1,15-1,20.
Well, I know I will take a try on Walden tomorrow!
I saw his match against Higgins and I was impressed with his coolness! OK, he was saved by the bell, at 2:2 there was a break in the right time, so that he could concentrate.
But, tell me, how many would survive mentaly what happened to him. Leading 2:0 and then being banged first by Max Break (Higgins got used of these  ) 147 and after that with another 130tish break! Still, he managed to compose himself, lead 3:2, got another exuliser and than, what was the best example of his coolness, saved himself from couple of perfect snookers by John...
I really cant see the difference odds 1,40-2,75 show. OK, Maguire had a perfect 2004 season, but he is a talent, which still have to show his full potential. I think, Walden is a nice value at 2,75, given by Gamebookers!
I will cover this bet with 5:4 Maguire! @5,50!
So, 8 stakes Walden to win
2 stakes 5:4 Maguire
GL!
