Some early thoughts and bets :
Lazio-Milan
Both teams with tough midweek matches. Normally this would have been an advantage for Milan because no-one in Lazio is used to playing tough matches Sunday/Wednesday, while Milan players know everything about it.
But concidering the current form and current team atmosphere, I wouldn’t dare betting on Milan.
Lots of injured and doubtful players on both sides. Rocchi in Lazio and Kaka+Pirlo are doubtful. Ledesma’s injury is a huge blow for Lazio.
In last 10 serie A matches at Olimpico Lazio won only once, Milan twice and 7 matches ended with a draw. Lazio scored 10 goals in these 10 matches while Milan scored 11 ( 7 of these 11 goals were scored by Sheva).
Last 2 matches in Rome were goalless.
1x2 is NO BET, but I do expect another tough and boring match without many goals.
Lazio's attacking power is very much limited with the probable absence of Rocchi and especially with the absence of the only creative midfielder in their mostly combat midfield.
Midfield consisted of Mutarelli, Mauri, Manfredini and Mudingayi ( 4 M's :) ) should not trouble Milan's defense too much but they'll certainly make it harder to Kaka and co. to find space.

Fiorentina-Juve
Juve welcomes back Iaquinta and Zebina but they will have to do without their rock in midfield Zanetti.
Lots of goals in Juve matches outside Turin this year ( 3:2 in Cagliari, 3:1 in coppa vs Parma, 2:2 in Roma) . Teams are aware of Juve’s weaknesses defensively and they attack them during the entire 90 minutes, especially when Juve are visitors.
Fiorentina has enough to hurt them and score more than once, while Juve’s counters and set pieces were proven deadly this year.
Both teams expected to start with three-men attack

Atalanta-Udinese
No Doni for Atalanta this time. Big blow.
After the good start of the campaign, Atalanta finally lost in Genoa against Sampdoria ( 3:0) on Sunday.
Udinese is a nightmare for Atalanta, especially in Bergamo. Atalanta didn’t beat Udinese at home in 10 years and Udinese won 4 of the last 5 matches in Bergamo.
Udine struggled against Parma in last round but they won at the end and their star Quagliarella finally scored his debut goal.
Confidence is higher in Udinese and the Friulani are doing much better when they aren’t the favorites, as they’ve shown us against Inter and Juve.
Atalanta’s defense is the worst part of the team. They’ll have a lot of problems stopping Asamoah-Quagliarella-Di Natale and I doubt they will stop them.

Inter-Napoli
It may look silly to bet against Inter now when they finally look sharp. Zlatan is probably the most in-form player in the world.
But Inter does look like a one man team lately and Zlatan, according to Mancini, isn’t 100% ready
Mancini said ““Zlatan Ibrahimovic is a bit tired and we will have to see how he feels tomorrow. “.
Napoli should be a tough nut to brake for Inter nevertheless. I expect Inter to have similar problems like they did against Udinese’s pacy attackers.
Napoli’s attack , led by Lavezzi, was a real threat to everyone so far, especially away from Naples, and mostly because they have great pace on the break.
Defending and using the counters is Napoli’s weapon. They do have the players to play this kind of game and since Inter will have the possession and will continiously attack, I am sure Napoli will take an advantage of that.

Siena-Empoli
Empoli with a midweek match and defeat against Zurich. Some starters did play in Switzerland so we can expect fatigue. Empoli has the better team between the two and they finally produced the goods last week when they’ve beaten very strong Palermo. The youngsters Pozzi and Giovinco finally scored their first goals this season and the whole team played a great match creating many chances. I expected a lot from this Empoli team and I believe they will continue making good results.
Siena will miss Chiesa, Frick and Locatelli while Maccarone will make his come-back. Still no win for Siena this season and they look at this match as their greatest chance for the first win.
If there wasn’t for Thursday’s match I’d have backed Empoli (+0.25) but I suspect they’ll be satisfied with a draw on Sunday. Siena will suffer a lot without the missing trio and with Maccarone who’s not at 100% yet. Low scoring draw is the most logical outcome. Still I won’t take a risk with 1x2 bet and I’ll take only the under 2.5

roma should finally be back to winning ways after 'theatre' vs juve 2-2 and draw at fiorentina they were focused only on game vs mu now after undeserved defeat they will eat parma alive

and after one year roma failed to win next year they have been winning there

Fiorentina - Juventus
Fiorentina seems to be in great shape with 3 wins and 3 draws in Serie A,
but IMO, they clearly showed against Groningen in Uefa Cup that they are not ready to play 2 competitions and if you consider that Thursday they played with all the regulars (that shows that they are interested in Uefa Cup) and they managed to win only with the penalties i fear that they will have a lot of problems against Juventus.
Juventus is still under construction but if they don't show a great play they surely showed as always a great character and a bit of luck.
With the return of Iaquinta (key player that plays contemporarly as wing in the midfield and as forward) I think that Juve will phisically dominate the match that will be very tough even because there is an old rivaltry beetween the 2 teams.
I think Juve will win but I chose the asian handicap to secure.

Hmmm, these odds are really tempting. Like i previously said, i don't take 1x2 or HT/FT bets on Juve because, even though the good start, i find Ranieri highly unpredictable. Juve are not the same good old and Ranieri's rotations will sometime be a real failure and it's close to impossible to predict how will Juve do in certain matches.
But after 6 rounds we can see that Juve are indeed one of the best physically prepared teams and they win their matches in second half. Most of Juve players spent their career playing Wednesday/Sunday and 1 match per week is like a vacation for them. Like you said, they've shown a great character and it's undoubtedly connected with the better physical condition they have compared to most of the others.
In the first 45 minutes this season Juve has 1win-4draws-1 defeat , goal defference 2:2.
In the second 45 minutes Juve has 5wins-0draws-1 defeat , goal difference 13:4
In 5/6 Juve matches there were MORE GOALS IN 2nd HALF (also in the coppa Italia where Juve won 1:3 with all 4 goals scored in the 2nd half).
Against Fiorentina whose players were forced to play 120 minutes only 3 days before this match, Juve can again take advantage of Viola's fatigue in the second half.
I still don't dare betting on a team to win in this match, but some other bets ( like Over, or more goals in second half) are really worth concidering.

[TORINO- SAMPDORIA Home Win Odds 2,30
Torino with 4 draws 2 losses,Last week unlacky lost against Juve in last minute.Torino played very good and was dangerous.They have some good players in team (Recoba,Ventola,,..)Sampdoria couldnt win in Denmark on thursday to get in uefa group stage.,could be tired and demoralized.I dont know anything about injuries and absences but dont think it is so important.
I deeply hope it is time for Torino first win .

Hello everybody, here's my view on two most important matches of this round
Fiorentina- Juve
Classic match of our league between two teams with big rivalry. Had Fiorentina not played only three days ago for 120 minutes in Uefa Cup I'd surely lean toward a home win, but now the match is much more equilibrated. Fiorentina did not lose a game so far and Juventus only one, and moreover lately all things seem to go on their way. Hope it continues so also today. Medium stake on a probable draw.

Lazio - Milan
Bad weeks for Milan. Team seems unfocused so far, their attack is evanescent and their defence make some mistakes every game. Both teams played wednesday in Champions League with different results: Lazio played well and gaines a point against Real while Milan is shocked for the defeat and the way goalkeeper Dida will react after what happened in Celtic Park. Moreover for tonight they have some key players out or with little injuries. Kaladze and Jankulovski are out, Seedorf won't start, Nesta had some flu and Kaka and Pirlo are not in perfect conditions. Also Lazio has some formation problems with Siviglia, Firmani and Ledesma out and striker Rocchi still in not perfect conditions even if he could start.
Well I rate this game as an almost sure 1X affair, but I think Milan will do everything they can to avoid another defeat which will bring a lot of troubles around and in the team, and take advantage of the suspension of next week games to recharge their batteries

To start i think Roma will not lose points again. They losed unfortunely with Inter. I saw that game and Roma are playing well, then Giuly was sent off and Roma losed the match.
Then this team arrived to Manchester and losed 1-0 on an amazing Rooney goal. Roma defended very well and deserved a draw as least...
Roma can´t count with Aquilani and Giuly for tomorrow's match but i don´t think that's a problem. Roma will play with Macini, Perrotta and Totti and should win this match.
Parma started very bad the season. They losed at home 1-3 with Juventus and 2-0 away at Atalanta. Not good results for a team who want to acchieve mid table.
This team also comes from a lose by 2-1 away from home at Udinese. Parma can´t count with Budan and Cardone by injuy and Coly suspended.
On the Head2Head Roma last year won at Parma's house by 0-4 and 0-3. Expressive results.
I think Roma losed very points on last matches and they need to win here and collect more 3 points.

Parma – Roma
Roma started this season in great style, playing pretty good football, but then they have very tough opponents in a row to play against and their record is not looking as good as it should according to their appearances. After the four wins in a row at the start of the season (3 in Seria A and one in Champions League against Dynamo Kiev) they had to play against Juventus, Fiorentina, Inter and Manchester United. Roma was outplayed only from Inter, but mainly because they conceded early red card. On all other matches Roma was at least an equal opponent.
Parma is characterized, as many seasons before, with the inconsistency in their performances. On one match they are playing well and on the other they put that kind of performance that they can be beaten by much weaker team than them. In the three matches they played at home, managed to beat only Torino in the last match at home and drawing with average teams of Catania and Cagliari.
Parma is without Budan, Cardone and Coly, and Roma will be without Aquilani, Taddei, Cassetti, Panuci and Guily.
Despite the importance of Roma’s injuries, they still have pretty much good squad and they can beat anyone when they are playing like they know. I think that after bad run of results lately, they are not playing that bad, and against average team of Parma they are more than capable of taking the three points.

tough call, im surprised to see the amount of Draw plays posted so far on Juve and Fiore, as i dont see it the same my friends, as much of a supposed weakness Juve has on the road, The Viola have the same to account for at home, only being +2 (7F 5A) as to only 1 given up away from Florence, so who's exactly going to be the one to hold serve here?

Palermo are far of their form from the last year,play much worse now and luckily for us the bookies don't pay much attention to what's really going on with this team,so here we are with a pick.
Reggina are yet to win a match in this new season and I have to believe Cozza when he states that ``We could have won against Lazio,'' ``We created so many goalscoring chances but we weren't able to finish them off. Lazio have taken one point with just one shot on goal. ``In any case, we are convinced that against Palermo we will be able to win.''
