Do not be ashamed to vote if your results were not satisfing! This poll is anonymous and nobody will ever know your answer. This is not a place to boast about our winnings. The only purpose of it is to get a kind of outline of Betworks' financial status and by this to check if a withdrawal from our accounts there might ever be possible.
If, for example, the survey shows that the most of people won money from Betworks and only a few made a deposit, we will be pretty sure that the bookie will go bankrupt sooner or later. In this case we will have no hope for making a withdrawal and therefore will not lose time on making bets there nor on posting useless e-mails to their support.
I just hope that it will work.
Thank you for your cooperation.

What should we vote when we're not rolled out (you must stake 5 times the 50 first)? What do you mean by win, to receive money on your account, or have a positive balance?

Lukasz
07-01-03, 20:16
By win I mean: I am roled out( I bet 5 times the first $50) and I have a possitive balance so I should be able to make a withdrawal. Of course it is not won money as you do not really have them, but I couldn't find another words to express it.
receive money on your account
if there's any person who did it, then please post a message as it would solve the whole problem
Thank you for your interest, Koffieboer.

I recieved the 50$ to my account but still didn't bet on it. I guess I enjoy the feeling of having free money to bet :D

Lukasz

I am afraid you will have to bet this money sooner then you expect, holonia.
This is one of the terms of the promotion:
The initial $50 credited to the free account must be wagered at least once by 5.00pm 17th January 2003 (Australian EST).

I know that it's still a lot of time, but it might be a bit unwise to lose the money without betting them even once, holonia

Yeah, Aight, you`re right, their FAQ says that the minimum deposit amount is US$200,but if you check the deposit information part now it says that the minimum deposit is US$ 25,dont you find that odd or what,my guess is they need the money and they need it badly, that FAQ is from some far better times imo. 8)

Well 200$ is indeed to much as a minimum deposit imo. It starts to piss me off that they say support is guaranteed 24/7, 360 days a year but nobody answers my emails.

I agree 200$ as a minimum deposit is too much, not so rare at overseasbookies though.
And these 25$ are O.K.
But what tickles me is not the reason for such a drastic reduction, couse its obviously to make more small deposits from a larger number of clients, and thats fine, but rather what stands behind that reason:just a healthy firm decision to adjust their policy to the market or something else.

As for the answering part,I know what you mean.

Interesting, did you send your ID, or a Copy of your credit card front and back side?

Metigem, did you get an email confirming that the payout is in process or are your funds still available on the page?

Maybe this will be of some interest to you:
I was so anxious to withdraw my money that after they didn't answer my first request I made another one(this time with a different amount). Today I received an e-mail from a very pleasant lady asking which amount of the withdrawal is correct. For me it's a kind of sign that there's somebody there taking care of our withdrawals. That's not a lot, though. :?

I made the first request on Friday and the second one on Sunday.
The lady wrote to me at 5:56 a.m. today. She said nothing about my ID. Only asked the question and added: "I await your response". So I responded immediately( enclosing my ID and password of course) but so far the money remains my account at Betworks :( .
I have got an awful feeling that it's still a long way to go... :?

He he Lukasz you are funny. I called Betworks today and there support was really very friendly and instructed me. I had to send all bank details and the ID and he promised me to make the accounting division moving their asses.

So I send the email and they responded like they will respond to my request as soon as possible. I guess I ll have to sit and wait till then.

After all they made a professional impression to me and were very kind maybe it was unfair of us to say they ll go broke and so on...?

Yeah,I received their comfort mail too with such sweet words that I almost melted, noticed even tear or two in my eyes.

I`ll believe them when I see the money on my account, and thats it,until then I`ll be rather paranoic than trustfull. 8)

And,no,I disagree that I/we was/were hard on them,a think of myself as a fair person and frankly its not my hobby caring about is it a
bookie going broke or not,it doesn`t interest me as long as I get paid. But when I smell a suspicious situation with somebody fooling me around I`ll react and I`ll react sharp.

Afterall, never underestimate the power of public opinion on various forums and not only on them, the words are spreading nowadays very fast, the good ones fast, the bad ones even faster. These recent e-mails make me confident on that.

Lukasz

I agree with Aight. We were definitely overreacting! I know it now when my account at Betworks has been decreased by the amount I had requested to withdraw :D . Still, I have received no confirmation of any action taken and will be fully satisfied only when I receive my check( I do not have an account and this is the very first money I won on Internet gambling  ).
I hope your withdrawals will be processed soon.

Well I just got a msg from the General Manager I know now why I had problems with the witdrawing, stupid me signed up accidentally two times with the same name... So they told me that infact they could delete my accounts but as I didn't use the 2nd one they just delete this one and I get the money, if I followed all the rules from the Bonus (which I did).

Now is this fair or what?

Actually they seem very professional and I will bet with them...once the money arrived and the football starts to roll again in France.

I`ve got today reasured again that my money is on his way, so I feel much better about this matter. Overreacting or not, everybody can have a opinion of his own,but even if we were,
I think it was a right thing to do.
You signing twice was a mistake and no bookie would`ve not even bothered to mail you more than once telling that you were acting fraudelent, so it is fair from their GM to act the way he did,but
I didn`t sign twice for sure, yet had the same withdrawal problems and obviously some other guys too. :?

Now,I find it rather unusual that a General Manager answers unsatisfied clients mails on regular basis,ok he took the time to solve your case but imo your complain at MajorWager has done a great deal getting things going for you,but for the rest of us also, becouse a new bookie on market cannot afford bad advertising and pissed clients from the beginning, and on that I was referring about public opinion in my previous post.

By this, do you mean after depositing real money???
Nawww, they wont see me ever again, with that password thing, INSOMNIA would become my middle name, naww, thanks.

I did some research about Betworks becouse that name never came cross me before and regarding all that stuff going on these days about the bonus withdrawal you might find this interesting.

Just realized that Betworks is former Megasport Australia,so not quite a new bookie, rather an old bookie with a new owner.Megasport Australia was owned before by one Las Wegas company called AWI and was licensed in Australia to take bets through Internet, but didn`t have the license to accept bets from U.S.A becouse Nevada State regulations prohibit betting by telephone or the Internet.

Eventually,AWI got accused for allegedly accepting illegal bets from U.S but after a whole afair they didnt admit nor deny allegations, but settled with authorities to pay the fine, sell Megasport and drag themselves outside of Australia.

The fact is that Megasport Australia did never go broke, they got accused for something that, even if its true, amazes me , that in «free world» we are living, states like Nevada or Utah in U.S.A dont allow their citizens to bet through Internet.I mean I understand the religious reasons of mormons community in Utah, but in Nevada, hell, the worlds gambling centre,Las Wegas is in Nevada.Very odd.

Anyway, Megasport was sold on July 2002 and became Betworks, now fully licensed to take bets in and from U.S.A (and rest of the world,non-muslims countries) but one of the sale conditions was that a new owner applies better technology to target Internet access origins. Now its clear for me,frankly I was surprised that when I signed up,the form automatically popped out the country first, usually you have to look for yourself in drop menues.

And this huge bonus was their promo for entering the U.S market, but yet they made it available to whole world, more than fair.It was so huge becouse I doubt you can impress Americans with 10$ «about everywhere» bonus, they had to make a impression…

I was hard on them, but I`m taking it all back (well, not quite all, that password thing still bothers me), think these guys deserve a credit.
