Well Cat gave up 2 again to open the season, although Muddling thru to a draw and grabbing a point, Genoa supposedly came into Serie A sayin they wanted to be known as an offensive team? HERES YOUR SHOT? PROVE IT !!!

i think i found us another draw at +185 this time, that Livorno - Palermo game is going to end 0 - 0 or 1 - 1 , most likely 1 - 1 Which is hard to actually predict Duh? lol in a weird quirk i though, in 06 livorno scored 5 goals to 1 in the season sweep of Palermo, and last year Palermo outscored them 5 - 1 in their sweep lol, and it came off a draw from the previous year, and with both teams losing their first games (Livorno got POUNDED IN JUVE) and My Roma Squad held Palermo to a 2 - 0 defeat, i see them playing tight and Palermos Goalie (Fontana) shows how amazing that 2 - 0 score was, i watched that game, We were Relentless (We being my Roma squad) shot after shot, and nicely placed with saves galore, that game was a game i missed as an over play too, amazingly enough, regardless, i see the Livorno- palermo game being tight thruout, and each team finding the net, if i had to decide whod get the 2 - 1 Decider, id go with Palermo on the road finding the net, but this is a tough play, The Lines are walkin me into it too, Palermo +150 and Livo +180 at home, Palermo would in effect be the Fav, so i will probably tap both plays, A Draw +185 and Palermo +150 with as in that first game needing 2 of the possible 3 scenarios to happen giving me a 67% of finding a return, i just need to place the bets to where the draw saves me, and hope Palermo indeed finds the form that had them in he top 4 of the standings to see themselves fall to 6th, Amauri's inj not withstanding, i like Palermo to take it and see a draw finding a way to sneak in as i say, the betting should be to hope to win and draw to cover the amount spent on both bets made ya know? i think you know what i mean, if you read this you have read my yearlong thread enough to know what the hell im talkin about lol

Again Sampdoria, who was the team that beat Siena for us, with a Sweet +167 OTB (PAID) now is home to a Lazio team that didnt impress me worth a lick, they let Torino find that draw, and for the same reasons to an extent, Samp is playing soccer and has been for a month, and doing well in the Euro Compet. theyre in, i dont think they are going to take Serie A Any lighter, if not indeed more, as the 3 points they have is a GREAT start in any league, to let that go for Naught would be putting them in a precarious spot as the mentioning of the Euro stuff could factor in if they start struggling in Calcio, (although a draw is still profitable) but for now, until to me #1 Lazio proves to be team worth being scared of and #2 Until Samp proves they arent going to find success at a place Samp only lost 3 times in at home last year, and again a +ML at +115 to Win!!

My short views about this Serie A day are:
Roma-Siena 1/over,you already said all,they are so good,Aquilani,Panucci (great form,Donadoni must consider him for the national team again!),etc.etc.,other that a 1 will be a shock for me.
Empoli-Inter no bet after loosing italian supercup,and just 1 point at home vs Udinese and 0-5 at Barca (but was another Inter,also they really didn't wanted to play that game but it was impossible to cancel it) everyone is expecting Inter to win here and they probably will succeed but with such low odds i will not touch that because we still have to see a good Inter and they get some weeks to get in form....
Torino-Reggina 1 Novellino is the right man for Torino and with Rosina,Stellone and co.,and now also chino Recoba (but i think he will not play today of course),they are pretty good.They can win here in front of their fans.
Cagliari-Juventus 2/under I don't think Juve will repeat the goleada of first day,and i don't trust Cagliari despite first unexpected win away at Napoli,i see Juve to win 0-1 0-2.....
Livorno-Palermo 2/X2 I see Palermo to win here because all in all they are the better team and they come from the home defeat,Livorno played also
extra-time in the cup in mid-week and i don't see them to stop Palermo.
Udinese-Napoli 1/1X Napoli has regular defense players back but Udinese
is pretty strong up-front,can't see Napoli to win here and away.so it's an HW or a draw.
Samp-Lazio X looks like a draw because they played cup games in midweek,and pretty hard ones,and because of tiredness maybe a draw will make everyone happy....also i can't see one of team to be so much stronger that the other at the moment...

Looking at this game, I really see a game that will have goals scored and I see Inter Milan going for a nice 3-1 win today so I am going for a nice -1.5 handicap on Inter. 7 Unit play. GL
I think recoba will play tomorrow, probably in starting eleven....for 50-60 minutes
Italian league so is so hard to predict, but let try one more time:
-Genoa to score twice should be real value. Genoa got hammered at home and Genoa attack done nothing. If Genoa can score against anyone, it would definitively be Catania. IMO Catania goalkeeper last year was not good at all, so if Catania did not change goalkeeper, I may try 2team2+ (Genoa to score twice). On the other hand Genoa know how to score, so Genoa first game this season was shock for me (0:3).

Juventus is always Juventus. odds on AW likes good around 1,80..and the bet on AW is a banker this week. Cagliari won in Naples 2-0 last week, but IMO they remain a weak team in this Serie A. Cagliari play without strikers, and they have lost their best players (Esposito, Langella, Suazo) this summer. Take Away win at 1.70

This is a clear Homewin, but I see value on handicap-1 at 1.65. AS Roma is too strong for this Siena, also OVER 2.5 is a good bet here. Livorno lost against Juventus (5-1) and they are going to have a terrible tournament. IMO value is on Palermo. Livorno will host Palermo in the second round of Seria A. Both teams come to this game after losses, Palermo lost to strong Roma 0-2 at home, while Livorno was kicked by Juve 5-1!
Comparing the teams and their performances last week, it looks like Palermo is better team and probably Livorno will be the one who will fight not to be relegated.
Last week Livorno failed to pieces and allowed Juve scoring 4 goals in 19 minutes. Palermo showed a very good second half vs. Roma and were unlucky to reduce the two goals defecit.
I expect Palermo not to lose against such a weak opponnent like Livorno and will hope for a win here.

I really like the odds on Udinesse and Torino for this round.Udinesse with luch and with great football got a draw on Inter last week.I serch on the net and i got that Udinesse is playing 4-3-3 a very ofensive stile and that should be a great problem for Napoli who still need some time to gel together.Imo Torino will be a lovely surprise for thie season and they will win today vs. Parma.

Here we have two teams on two different levels: Livorno will have to fight all the season to avoid relegation while Palermo is a better team and should finish at least in Uefa Cup qualifying places. Both come from defeats in the first round, but Palermo played well against one, if not the most, in-form team of the league right now, Roma, and was unlucky not to score and draw the game. Today things will be different. Livorno badly misses the departure of its symbol Lucarelli and will have problems all the season upfront, even if they bought forward Bogdani in the last day of the market (together with other two midfielders who raises the quality of the otherwise quite low team); moreover they misses midfielders Giannichedda and Dhorasoo so I believe Palermo is able to get all three points today, even if the draw is always a possibility considering the quite bad history Palermo has in Livorno. At the end a Palermo dnb should be a very safe bet.

Torino has made good signings over the break. I think against a Reggina side who have sold few of their key players over the break, Torino should bring 3 points home tonight.
Torino signs the likes of Grella, Ventola and Recoba. However, the later out of the three might not feature just yet today but still they should be strong with what they've got now.
No doubt last season Reggina arguably is the better team out of the two but for this season I think the reverse is true. Torino just drew 2-2 against Lazio in their opening season, I didnt watch the match but to draw against Lazio as a visitor, it shows that they are no pushover. I believe, they should triumph tonight.

Juve game was quite hard to watch for all Juve backers like me. Really and I mean really shaky Juve at the back, great lack of creativity in midfield and add to that a very desoriented ref, who gave 3 penalties to Cagliary, 1 of them cancelled later. :)

Are you crazy??? If odds are around 1.2 I will back up Fiorentina not to lose BIG TIME. Odds are realistic, if people that are closer with milan can said us what about motivation in team, is fiesta after Super Cup still in Milan squad? What about motivation in Milan's team? People do not forget that it should be good reason for backing up Milan for 1.55 odds because I'm sure that fiorentina will do more than 150% to beat new Super Cup winners and current CL winners.

bet365 gives @1,57 but i wonder why. milan should be the favorit. they even play home and as you say are motivated because a new saison gives them a new chance to win the title.
Maybe some people look at last year Milan 0-0 Fiorentina. But that period Milan already don't care about Serie A and concentreate on Champions League. That game was few days after Milan v Manchester 2nd leg so some players took rest. Before that Milan win Fio 3-1, 6-0, 5-2 at San Siro.

I looked back in the history and searched when was the last time that Fiorentina doesn't score in San Siro two times in a row - no such matches back to 1995.
Both teams started the season with wins, Fiorentina beat Empoli 3-1 and Milan beat the newcomers Genoa 3-0 (away). Fiorentina's best strikers in the last years (Toni) left the club joining Bayern Munich, but the team's formation doesn't changed.
Santana, Pazzini and Mutu will probably start this game (all three forwards), so you can't expect Fiorentina playing defensive style. Pazzini and Mutu already scored in the first round and this fact is very important for striker confidence (I can't forgot Vieri on the bench).
Milan, the old Milan, they always had a good defense, but their weakest link I think is Dida. He makes a lot of mistakes, especially on the air-balls. Probably the midfield will be hold by Milan players as Fiorentina's Montolivo will not play today, so I expect for long balls and it's Didas weakest point.
