View Full Version : *Steaua B. - CSKA Sofia
I would like to have your opinion about this match that is supposed to be very interesting. Even Steaua is the favourite of the match and mine, TSKA Sofia can cause major or minor problems... But if Steaua wants to qualify in groups or even much more than the groups, they shouldn't have problems in defeating this rival. What do you think about this match?
CSKA Sofia is weak team, but Steaua is weaker at the moment. it will be tough win for CSKA , but they will qualify for the group stage.
I don't know anything about Steaua, but for me CSKA is weak team. Against Omonia they was lucky to score in the very last minute. CSKA have big problems in defense.Robert Caha in the left back is very funny :lol: .In the central defense Gueye make mistakes and is unsure.
The manager of CSKA - Ferario Spasov wants his team to play defensively - but how can you play this way when your defense is so unsure.
In the first leg for me - HOME WIN.
CSKA had some problems in defence in the beginning of the season but I think that the coach Spasov has already managed to fix them.Flame you say that Caha is a weak player.But he won't play because the coach already knows this.Todorov will play on the right of the defence and Zabavnik on the left(Zabavnik is a very good player-he is a Slovakian national player).And Flame, Gueye(I use his picture as my avatar) sometimes makes mistakes but I can't say that he is not a good defender.He is one of the very few CSKA players who play with their hearts and thats why the fans like him.And Steaua players must be careful with Gueye-he always makes brutal tackles and he will brake their legs if he gets angry.CSKA has very good midfielders like Dimitrov,Yanev,Gargorov,Yanchev and Mujiri and CSKA also has good strikers like Sakaliev,Hazurov and Zakov.But in the away match CSKA will use only one striker-Sakaliev.CSKA has good players for counterattack and this will be their greatest weapon in the first match.I'll bet on X2 for this match.

I dont know how can Bulgarian teams be compared with Romanian teams. If i remember well, few years ago Steaua eliminated TSKA and Rapid eliminated Levski. Almost in all cases Our teams (from Romania) has no problems with Bulgarian teams. Steaua is playing well in this moment (they were unlucky to draw in last round missing penalty kick in 90th minute) but they have some problems in defence (Radoi is doubtful, Hamutovski is making a lot of mistakes) but their midfield and offense are good.

How did you draw the conclusion that Steaua is weaker than CSKA?? I very much doubt that you have seen one of Steaua's matches this season so...you'd better think twice before saying such things. This is a forum for bettors, not for suporters, and we need accurate pieces of information, not stupid sentences like yours.

It is true that Steaua eliminated :!: CSKA :!: , but that was 7-8 yaers ago and it's obvious that since then romanian club football has slown down ,while our clubs are improving every year. So I seriously doubt that Steaua is favourite here. It's fifty-fifty game in my opinion so NO BET. But since both teams play attaking football may be over is nice choice if it's offered somewhere.

Flame,I know that you are a supporter of Levski.But please don't make such mistakes.Yordan Todorov will play as a right back and Zabavnik as a left back.Caha won't be in the first eleven(and that's very good).That's sure because the coach Ferario Spasov used this formation against Naftex and all the media in Bulgaria say that this will be the defence for CSKA for this match.Zabavnik didn't play against Spartak Varna because he was tired after the match Slovakia-Liechtenstein.The midfield and the attack will be the same as you wrote.
The starting 11 are wrote this way in Meridian Mach - bulgarian football newspaper. I'm not sure 100% that this will be the squad,I just write info I've read.
I haven't read Meridian match today but if this is true this will be an enormous mistake by Spasov.Caha just doesn't have the qualities to play in club with ambitions like CSKA.CSKA biggest problems against Omonia were caused by Caha.I really hope he won't play.Maybe Marcos Charras can replace Caha or just Zabavnik will play on the left and Todorov on the right.
Caha is realy funny defender with all this mistakes that he makes.
Charas - hm last I've read about him was that he must go on loan back in Argentina(maybe Rosario Central -I'm not sure)
Well, the statistics between Romanian and Bulgarian football is on the side of the first at club level. But just now, as I closely follow matters in CSKA to the whole, I can assure everyone who is betting money on Steaua, that it is very risky to empty his/her pocket. Absolutely no problem in the team of CSKA with 100% motivation to do what previous generations did with the club shirts, namely - great fame and prestigious wins against powerful and popular European clubs. There are many quality players, such as Yanev (in top form), Dimitrov (ressurecting his topform), Gargorov (perfect technically and mortal if you underestimate him), Sakaliev (able to score goals from every situation). There are also other players that can (if it's their day) cause damage to a medium European team with no extreme efforts. Steaua is such a team. It is considered that there will be more than 3000 Bulgarian fans, who (believe me) will support CSKA as entusiasthic as any can, so the Bulgarian player won't feel themselves away from home. CSKA will definitely play on counterattacks from the beginning, then it ill depend on the match development. I'll never put money for a home win, so I don't wish thsi to happen to you too. X2!

It is for me a matter of battle between two similar quantity of quality- of Steaua and of CSKA! And considering that the presuure is more in Staeua's team, and knowing how good can CSKA use this, offer X2. There is never a guarantee, but it's my tip for all who want to bet on this match.

I don't know whether they thought Ibrahima Gueye would have been the "black sheep". He was man of the match and proved that the game is played with the whole heart with no economy.
Good thing that it finished this way,I'm on Brugge now for a great combo !
About this game,I might say that even though they both scored,Neaga and Dica were well below their possibilities tonight.I'm expecting a better game for Steaua in Sofia,also an over 2.5 because CSKA should attack and romanians are very fast on counter(CSKA defence seems a little bit slow).

Agree with the fact that the 2 teams look almost equal,I disagree with u only about the senegalese defender...yes ,he played with his heart,but he was slow(remember 2 times in the 1st half when not so fast Oprita almost stole the ball from him) and I think this may be a problem IF Neaga ,Dica or Cristea(all national team players and all of them faster tnan Oprita)will play at their usual level.
PS.I'm not a fan of Steaua,I hate them when they play in Divizia A so may the best team qualify for the group stages! :wink: but with Brugge leading they brought me a large amount of money :P
Gueye is not a slow one and you cannot draw conclusions form the mentioned situation. And if it was always the faster who dominate, would have been logic in football. But there isn't any. Good luck for Brugge (1-0):)
