I planed to take this pick as my first prediction here on BA, but I'm too late, so I'll post it here in forum.
This is the final match of 5th European U-20 women championships. Two biggest favourites will fight for the title, defending champion Russia will take on Norway.
Both teams has won all preliminary group matches and stumbled just once in next stages: Norway has lost main round match against Croatia, but after beating Serbia and Montenegro they progressed through to semi-finals, while Russians won their semifinals clash with SCG after extra-time.
Now both needs to make the final step, which always is the most difficult one. Russians are considered as favourite here and all the pressure is on them. It started to show in semi's already, where they were leading SCG by 6 goals at one stage (with some help from refs, I must say) but then started to make mistakes, which almost costed them the match.
On the other hand, Norwegians has accomplished their mission already as thier couch said, they've got medal and they have qualified for next WC.
I expect another nervy game, where bit undersized Norwegian team will count on solid defence and excelent goalie Aalvikand try to stop Russian backs, hoping to score on counter attacks (and I believe they'll do so).
If we take look in history of U-20 EC final matches, only once there was goal difference bigger than 2, and simply I can't see Norway loosing by more than 2goals today again.
Teams are quite equal, both played lot of tight matches on theair way to the final and this will be another one, I won't be surprised if it will end up in a draw after 60min.
Fonbet is the only bookmaler offering this match I've found so I'll go for NORWAY +2GOALS hcp at odds 1.80
Another option is UNDER 53.5 goals (odds 1.80), but here I would appreciate higher total to feel more confident, anyway – I expect low-scoring game.
