Betoto Company

Betoto is a recently established company, it is mainly focused on Greek customers, and as far as I know it is connected to Bet and Win (I am not sure enough for the last).

I have opened an account at this company a few monhs before and I never had any problem. However, two or three days ago I noticed that I wasn't able to make stakes higher than 50 euros per single bet. I tried many times but the message I received was that I had exceeded my betting limit. Of course, it had nothing to do with the money I have deposited in my account as the amount is much bigger.

So I decided to contact the company's customer service in order to inform them about the problem and ask for a solution.

This evening I took the following response.


Dear Sir,

Thank you for your e-mail.

Your account and your particular betting pattern have been reviewed by our
Sports manager who has decided to limit your action to 50 EUR per bet as this is
the amount he is comfortable with at this time. As with all our accounts this
will be constantly reviewed and further action may be taken, which may or may
not involve the reinstatement of a higher limit.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

I immediately informed them about my dissatisfaction and I already closed my account.

What they mean by saying that they don't feel comfortable with my betting pattern? It's ridiculous!

I bet for many years and I have open accounts at a lot of bookies. Nothing similar happened to me before even during times that I was winning much money.

Excuse me for introducing myself to this brilliant forum in such a way but I felt that you should be informed about this incident.

If there is such a thing as a "sure-bet", this is one:
Bet&Win and Betoto (as well as Playit) are the same company! :wink:

You can be assure that your stake limit is implemented in Betandwin as well, if you have an account with them. Give it a try and you will find it out yourself.
I am sure that you understood what they mean by "betting pattern"...
You are on a winning streak and they are limiting the chances of you winning some Big Money.
Needless to say that this is ridiculous. But that is the way it is, not only with them...

Try some big names (I am sure that you know them yourself, since you said that you have not encountered such problems in the past), in order to avoid similar surprises.

Here's the summary:

Betandwin operates the following websites:
1) Betandwin
2) Playit
3) Beteurope
4) Betoto

As far as limiting your stakes - it's quite simple - if you win, they limit you. They're afraid of losing money so they lower the chances of losing much by limiting successful punters who place larger stakes.

And, if I'm correct here, recently, they also transfer your limit if you switch from one website to a different one - e.g. from Betandwin to Beteurope.

Daglashen, I also have open accounts at Eurobet, William Hill, Ladbrokes and Gamebookers. I never had similar problems. And, yes, I was on a winning streak at Betoto but I had much better winning streaks in the past with the other companies I mentioned above. And never had problems.

Anyway, thanks for your comments guys. I have been reading this forum for a long time now but I registered only yesterday. I am planning to be a regular from now on 'cause I admire the great work most of you do here and I think that I could be useful too since I have enough betting experience.
