12:00 PM Adelaide City 1.25 X 4.50 Modbury Jets 9.00
This is such a big task because Adelaide City have not lose a season match since the Qualifying Final in 2005 or excluding finals Round 14, 2005 and for the Jets they need the points more than ever after last week's costly home loss to Cumberland United to move off from bottom of the ladder. Adelaide City are sure to be a tough opposition will a star filled line up Damian Mori(Couch) will have the team making sure they can keep the lead on top of the ladder. Modbury have the team capable of getting decent results this season bit between one reason and another it hasn't happened, but a good result on Monday night could be the turning point the Jets need. No questions asked it will be a huge challenge for, but if the Modbury boys are at their peak anything could happen.
RECENT HISTORY
Last season Modbury Jets met Adelaide City twice and both times were unsuccessful in an attempted victory. The first match was a Friday night at Jet Park where it was on 0 - 2 scoreline to City and in Round 19 the teams met at Oakden and after Adelaide City took the lead early the Jets found an equaliser, before conceding a late goal on half time. Following the break it all went wrong with two Modbury players perhaps controversially sent off and the scoreline blew out to 5 - 1.
