Just my first opinion.

Odds for Libertad(4.00+) are too much I think.

I believe X2 and team from Paragua to qualify.

Waiting for news firstly...

Is it goal difference or matches between teams?

Sao big favourite of Libertadores this year again..Today they will be full squad..
Alianza Lima has high altitude advantage..But theres no qualify chance for them. They will play only fixture..Lima leader of Peruvian League with 22 points. They has very important game with Univ San Martin (3th place in league has 20 points) away game..They focused league..They wants to be Champion of Peru..
Sao will play two games at the group..First tonight with Alianza Lima and last game at Morumbi with Audax Italiano..Sao wants to be leader of the group..Necaxa will play with Alianza Lima at home probably they will win..
Two team has big class difference between..And Alianza Lima don't take serious this game..They focused local league..Brasilian will win this game, will show their quality.

Banfield-Libertad

As I said yesterday odds on Libertad were a little bit high. From then dropped but still deserve some units.

Libertad is much stronger team and should have already qualify.

Banfield isn't nothing special in my opinion. Last weekend for Clausura lost 2-3 (down to 0-3) by a young team of Velez.

For Copa Libertadores won against El National away but they were very lucky cause scored in 80' min at their first chance. Also hosts hit the post 3 times.

Libertad can qualify with a draw aswell.

Pick: X2
Odds: 1.81
Stakes: 6

Hi Achilles and all

Line up of Alianza

Alianza Lima: George Forsyth - Guillermo Salas, Ernesto Arakaki, Santiago Salazar, Jorge Jair Iglesias; Marko Ciurlizza, Junior Ross, Junior Viza, Martín Ligüera; Roberto Silva y Carlos Zegarra. DT: Gerardo Pelusso.

Is the line up normal of Alianza in the league.....

But , we knowing who is the favorite for the match :D :D :D

I believe the best bet in this match is the.......

OVER 2.5, Odds: 2.07, stake: 4.5/10 in Pinnacle

Why? because, both teams will playing the options for qualify and always Banfield playing of home, the results are of varios goals....

And about the match velez 2-3, for me not's valid, because Banfield played with any players subs, but in defense

(Is the reason of 0 to 3 in 21 minutes)

Gimnasia-Defensor Sporting

Standings

Santos 15 (9-1)
Defensor 9 (8-4)
-----------------------
Gimnasia 6 (6-10)
D.Pasto 0 (3-11)

Motivation factor: Gimnasia qualifies if win by 4+ goals.

After Troglio is gone the Argentinian team seems better. Win 2-0 against Pasto in Columbia, 4-1 against Independiende and last weekend fight a lot San Lorentzo but finally lost 1-0.

Columbian Francesco Maturana is the new coach of hosts but will be available for next Clausura game.

Next weekend Gimnasia will face Estudiantes and we all know what means this local derby for both teams. For this reason, today we will see a second team for Gimnasia. Only midfielder Alderede plus attacker Lejisamon will start from regulars. 2nd team again? OK, they will win for sure. :)

Defensor Sporting has no injury problems to worry about.

Estimation: I think Gimnasia can win this game but odds are like a sh*t. No bet!

Gimnasia La Plata (possible line up)

Olave(0/0), Franco(1/0), Semino(4/0), Crosa(1/0), Romero(5/0), Korneho(3/0), Alderete(3/0), Tsaves(3/0), Paceko(5/2), Pierguidi(5/0), Legisamon(3/0).

INTERNACIONAL: Clemer; Ceará, Índio, Hidalgo e Rubens Cardoso; Edinho, Wellington Monteiro, Vargas e Fernandão; Alexandre Pato e Iarley
Técnico: Abel Braga

NACIONAL: Muslera; Alvarez, Godin, Jaume e Viana; Vanzini, Sosa, Delgado e Martinez; Vera e Castro
Técnico: Daniel Carreño

This game will be started same time with Velez - Emelec game..Velez will win (I'm sure about it).
International must win with 3 or more goal difference..Their squad very offancive today..Fernandão - Alexander and Iarley will search goal and goals today..
Nacional has strong squad this year..Javier Delgado back from injury..Nacional can find good counter-attacks in this game and could score against International..
After succesful Libertadores Championship Inter had lost many important players in their squad like Tinga,Sobis,Bolivar etc..Inter not like last years..I believe today Inter will do everything for qualify..We will watch very good and high scoring game tonight.

Over 2.5 Goals will be good bet.

U r right, Internacional needs a win with at least 3 goals difference to qualify. BUT! Beware! They need 3-0 or 4-1 (cases of 3 goals difference) or more goals difference..

If they win 6-3, 7-4, 8-5 etc, Nacional qualifies! See below why...

If they win 5-2, then A DRAW will occur! I mean that the qualified team will decided by a draw! :D What a shitty decision huh?
And this is because, if a 5-2 results here, then these 2 teams will have equal goal difference, equal offense, equal away offense!

1. Goal difference
2. Best offense
3. Best offense in away games
4. Draw

Don't they know what is 'game between them' ? :D I really dislike this 'rules'..

Odds on home team are really crap @1,45. I would stay away from this, but because (If I remember correctly), NEVER since now, a DRAW was occured for a team to qualify, I will pick the correct score 5-2 for fun! :D

I really want to see this happening! :D ;)

Also, VELEZ and SANTOS seem to be bankers today. BUT!

Santos already qualified as first, so they might use youngsters today. Surely, they still can trush this team even with youngsters..

Velez will probably win yes, but, if Internacional loses with 0-3 at ht :D , then Velez doesn't need to win. Even if they lose, the qualify..

Ofcourse this is just scenarios SCI-FI maybe :D , but think again. Who needs these 1,15 ?

Constantinou
19-04-07, 17:40
Forgot to add about Internacional's game, that Intern is in full squad, while Nacional has doubtful their main Gkeeper..

He was injured, but is back now, still its not certain that he will play for the obvious reasons.. ;)

Is this a mark u think? :D

yes, last year they lost to Estudiantes 0-7 and it was a great humiliation for club and fans ... we know how important this derby is when you see Gimnasia supporters asking their team to intentially lose to Boca so Estudiantes won't win the title ... this week even the manager Kuzemka said he was under pressure from fans to focus on the big derby on the weekend

gwen
19-04-07, 19:56
Santos will play with reserves since they have nothing to gain here and will focus on the state championship, even though the team they'll field will still be stronger than the Columbians on paper, but at such price it ain't worth it

safebet2007

Velez need to win this game for safety and they will win it, no doubts. Opponents have nothing to play here. High Stakes.

So if they are playing with a "B" team and have big league match on the weekend so why do you tell they will win today??

To explain something about GimnasiaLP...
Whole this Copa Libertadores Gimnasia played with mixed squads every time... And they often stated that their priority is not Copa Libertadores...
BUT...
With that attitude to play relaxed and not in way "we must win" they played in Copa LIbertadores with lots of rotations in the team all the time... And, even with those mixed called squads, they won their games, and played good when we least expected...
And to mention... there is no such a thing like A or B team of Gimnasia...
GimnasiaLP is mediocre team, and they found their momentum just few games before they replaced Troglio on DT place...
Nevertheless, if this GimnasiaLP plays with A or B team, they will just no matter what play for the win at home.... their home La Plata is place where even stronger teams felt... It is true... And not some kind of teams which is called Defensor ??? Really they showed us when they played with so called B team , which not exist, they won....
It is very probable a home win , no matter who will start for GimnasiaLP...

Match: Santos vs. Pasto
Pick: Under 3,25
Odds: 1,83 Pinnacle or 188bet
Stake: High 8/10

Match for Copa Libertadores between Santos (Bra.) vs. Pasto (Col.) to be disputed in the stadium "Vila Belmiro" San Pablo city. This game is of relativity importance, because Santos it´s classified and with only a draw they are 1º between all teams (he team qualifiying 1º played versus 16º qualifiying), comes of win 0:1 vs. Defensor (Uru.) a game equal without chances clear of goal that Santos win in two counter attack, for today match they will be play with mixed team (between titular and reserves). Pasto it´s totally eliminated (they have 0 points), comes of loss 0:2 vs. Gimnasia L.P. (Arg.) home a game better played by the argentinian team and winning in good form, for today game they have his best team available. In conclusion Santos play this match with mixed team, his players said that they think in the game of weekend (semi-final "paulistao"), in the other side Pasto play for nothing (i believe that they only will be play to no loss) without neither motivation, they have a poor attack. For the motives before mentioned I wait a match closed with few goals and both teams wishing the end of the match. I think that the handicaps 3,25 Under is excellent.

P.D. Santos without Ze Roberto is half team

Probabily Formations:
SANTOS: Fábio Costa; Marcelo, Leonardo e Domingos; Denis, Rodrigo Souto, Cléber Santana, Pedrinho e Carlinhos; Rodrigo Tabata e Jonas
Coach: Wanderley Luxemburgo

DEPORTIVO PASTO: Carlos Barahona; Ariel Sevilliano, José Mera, Walden Vargas e Fernando Monroy; Alexander Jaramillo, Harold Rodríguez, Ferley Villamil e Jorge Vidal; Carlos Rodas e Carlos Castillo
Coach: Álvaro de Jesús Gómez

Match: Gimnasia L.P. vs. Defensor
Pick: Over 2 3/4
Odds: 2,17 188bet
Stake: Medium 5/10

Other match today by Copa Libertadores is Gimnasia L.P. (Arg.) vs. Defensor (Uru.) to be disputed in the stadium "Ciudad de la Plata" La Plata city. Gimnasia L.P. need winning by 4 goals of difference for classify, comes of winning 0:2 vs. Pasto (Col.) a game better played by the argentinian team, for today game they play with reserves team (weekend play the derby versus Estudiantes and them considered very improbably today winning for 4 goals of difference, these are the motives for put reserves today). Defensor comes of loss 0:2 vs. Santos (Bra.) a game equal in the first half and in second half dominated by Santos that winning in good form, for today game they have his best team available. I considered this match a little strange, Defensor if lose by 1 or 2 goals is going to be happy, obviously them play not to lose but with the course of the match Defensor will not worry if loses for one goal of difference, I wait a match open with Gimnasia L.P. pressure all time but leave many spaces in defense and Defensor with fast strikers for counter attack can make some goal too. I wait a game of much nerve of going and return with both teams make goals. I think that the barrier of 2 3/4 goals have what to be overcome in this game.
