Team from Equador... Surelly weaker than any brasilian team in Libertadores... And to add more Internacional is just the same team less or more who defeated Barcelona... They are all regulars in the starting 11, Cuauhtémoc Blanco and 1st goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa are the most imporant missings as 2nd goalkeeper Armando Navarrete is far from reliable goalkeeper... even with all these absences, América could field decent starting 11, with the likes of Salvador Cabañas, Nelson Cuevas (who is back from injury), Juan Carlos Mosqueda, Daniel Bilos... defence could be the problem...

I missed this post while I was writing about América, sorry for late answer... I wouldn't bet on Real Potosi despite the fact that they are playing at 4,000m... Flamengo's players were struggling, but they managed to draw despite being 0-2 down, UA Maracaibo managed to draw as well, Venezuelans have poor record at high altitude, but they didn't lose in Potosi... so, I can't trust the hosts, maybe they will take advantage of high altitude and win this time, but their team is bad for this level and I won't bet on them...
Cerro Porteño will play at Defensores del Chaco, true, but it won't be big problem for them, they played many times in Copa Libertadores there... I think that Under is probable here considering style of play of these two teams and the fact that Tolima will be happy with one point and they will certainly play for 0-0, but hosts have to go for a win, so, all in all, no bet...

As we said yesterday América has very important missings.They are : Cuauhtémoc Blanco, Guillermo Ochoa, José Antonio Castro, Duilio Davino, Oscar Rojas, Germán Villa, Alejandro Arguello, Diego Cervantes..Libertad perhaps most dangerous team of South America..Last year eliminated by International (Last Libertadores and World Champion)..I almost watched all Libertadores games Libertad..Guiñazu and Aquino very dangerous at counter attacks..I was bet two times against Libertad last year :) at River Plate game..They played very smart in Argentina drew with River (2-2)..In Paraguay they started with big pressure and beat Los Millanorios 3-1..
Today América without 8 regulars yes..But Cabañas,Bilos,especially Cuevas still high quality players..This trio could score against every team..América still has qualify chance..Last game they will play with El Nacional Quito at Azteca HELL! .. I watched Velez against Boca last weekend..Velez defence was awful..made many mistakes..Velez started playing bad..If Velez start 3 defenders again it will be big disappointment for them..Waiting for tomorrow.

umm ... correct me if i'm wrong, isn't the tie-breaker based on goal differential? then it makes no difference whether Toluca wins or ties, even if they win (by less than 7 goals) and level on points with Cienciano, they would still need to beat them at home in the last round since the Peruvian side has the better goal diff (assuming Boca trashes Bolivar)

Velez without Mauro Zarate and Lucas Castroman is a different team. Nacional, with home advantage and the very hot crowd is more close to win. not to be proud but won. loool :D
In fact, Bolicar was clearly the better side, missed too many chances that saved my the MVP Toluca's goalie. Toluca dissapointed me (for their performance i mean, not the result) and was with 11 players behind the center. Only defend and defend. But this is the game. :)
