Genk - Roeselare -> Over 2.5 Goals

Racing Genk made for the first time this season the statement that they are officially going for the Title after winning with a 1 - 3 score against AA Gent. In an important match against one of their direct opponents without an very big amount of chances they still managed to score 3 goals. Last 2 weeks, Genk is showing a lot of motivation and they are just like in the beginning of the season aiming for the always important early goal. I'm quite positive that they will try to do the same this this week at home against Roeselare. In the overall statistics their matches have an average of 3.64 Goals with only 1 out of 4 matches going under 2.5 goals. At home they make an average of 2.5 goals themselves each match. For the match against Roeselare there is only 1 real concern, Vrancken who is one of the more important players in the midfield in suspended. So far they only played 1 match this season without him in a match against charleroi that they lost with a 4 - 1 score.

Roeselare lost for the first time at home this season against a good Charleroi in a match with a very big amoun of chances. So far they are having a good season being in 8th place with 31 points being one of the more spectacular teams of the league so far. Their matches have an average of 3.1 goals with around 60% of them going over 2.5. In their away matches they have an average scoring rate of 1.2. Specially against the top teams they usually have high scoring matches because it is their coach's vision to always keep fighting for it no matter what happens. Most of the time this ends up in a big defeat or an amaizing comeback. One of their more important defensive players Yves Vanderhaege is injured and won't be able to play. His importance was shown when he had to leave the pitch after 4 minutes in last weeks match.

Previous Confrontations
17-09-2006 Roeselare-Racing Genk 3-3
09-04-2006 Roeselare-Racing Genk 1-2
05-11-2005 Racing Genk-Roeselare 4-1

Final Toughts
Just by looking at all the statistics, this match is pointing in every way in the direction of the over. Knowing Genk always scores at home and Roeselare will take whatever risks it takes in an attempt to take points I feel the over is indeed the bet to take. Most bookmakers are offering odds around 1.63, pinnacle is giving 1.794 at the moment which is an offer not to refuse in a league that has been averaging 3 goals a match the last couple weeks.

So 3/10 on Over 2.5 Goals @ 1.794 (Pinncale)

I beleive that Club Brugge will not win today, whatever happens...
I think todays' opponet has the ability to cause them problems.

I 'll pick both a draw and an away win!

Good Luck!

Motivation/status/injuries club brugge?

It's not worth the risk for the 1.33 odds they are offering.
They have proven all season not te be reliable, the value is on Stvv +1.5 @ 1.85 in my opinion. I'm staying away from this match

Maybe someone can say something about Sint Truiden's squad for tonight.

Peter Van Houdt is out for tonights match, he's the one of most important offensive player for STVV.

the under 3 goals @ 1.70 looks valuable at first sight
most of previous confrontations had 3 goals or more though

Line-up STVV (probably) :

-----Boeckx----

-----Van Oudenhoven---Hayen---Vanczak-----Mulemo----

------Simaeys-------Delorge--------

------Kadu---Chimedza----Sishuba----

-----Munyaneza ------

Missing : Van Houdt, Buvens, Deelkens (normally first keeper)

As u can see a very defensive line-up. Striker Van Houdt is injured. Topscorer of the team with 8 goals. Also midfielder Buvens is missing (not that important though) + first keeper Deelkens is being replaced by 20y old Boeckx.

On the other side Bosko Balaban is suspended. So everything points towards the under here. But i think we will see a very motivated Club Brugge. After their loss against Mons last week, coach Janevski was lacking the team spirit and players motivation. I think every player will be highly motivated and with the help from their fans an easy win could be possible.

Dont see any value. 1.3 (1.8 with handicap) for home-win is far too low. Club is not consistent in their performances and I will stay away.

Maybe a small bet on over 2.5 could be possible. But not at the moment cuz 1.6 is a bit too low.

In Canbet you have Brugge -1.5 @ 2.10, pointbet and 10bet @ 2.08.

In the morning in 10bet was 2.16.

What do You think about Genk - Roeselare?
I think Genk must win, because Anderlecht have same points.

once again 1.30 odds have no value at all to bet on, specially with Vracken not playing.
I still feel the over is the right bet here, allthough the odds have lost a lot of value allready. they dropped from 1.794 to 1.704 at Pinnacle.
Unibet and other european bookies only offer around 1.55

I'm Leaning to these sides also:

Westerlo - GBA (+0.5) @ 1.82
Moeskroen - Bergen @ 2.00
FC Brussels - Standard (Under 3) @ 1.62

took an early bet on AA Gent, but the odds have dropped to 1.75 and are not worth the risk anymore.
Zulte-Waregem - AA Gent [Draw No Bet] @ 1.86

Will Anderleht have some problems with missing players, and what you think for Anderleht win , considering last night Genk's win?

Anderlecht is playing without Boussoufa and Without Tchité
Boussoufa has not shown anyting yet this year and him being suspended might actually help Anderelcht because it has proven not to work with him and Hassan in the same team.
With Tchité injured Mbo Mpenza will be starting this match along with Frutos on the offense. Not sure what to think of Mbo anymore, but I don't really have much faith in him.

Not sure if there is much value in the 1.65 odds, a match against lokeren is always difficult for the top teams specially when the are out on revenge after losing the important match against Beveren last week.

Going to see this match later today and will probably put some money on anderlecht just for the fun of it, because I haven't got that much confidence in the team.

Hi guys!

Any info on Waregem - Gent match? I would take 'both teams to score' @1.70...looks like a good bet?

looks like a reasonable bet to me, strike Foley is not playing.

I played this match early on wednesday after the odds came out at pinnacle. 1.86 for Draw No Bet for AA Gent were good odds, specially after seeing a couple interviews from zulte-waregem where they were openly saying that they were ok with losing points because of the Uefa cup and that their goal was to get things on track in the league over a couple weeks with the objective to avoid regelation.
A day later they gave a opposite vision playing against Newcastle with a team full of youngsters so they could focus on todays match.

I took AA Gent (0) @ 1.86 on wednesday (dropped to 1.70)
I took Zulte-Waregem (0) @ 2.25 today

will be a small profit or a no bet.
