What You say about Porto? They are better team nad they will fight with Sporting for first place so they should win this one becouse every point is important. On other hand Leiria at home of 7 game lost only one and extremly hard they gave goals. They have score 5:6 in 7games...
Porto is first with away score 8 6 1 1 15:4...
Does anyone have some infos about injuries?

I think that this game Porto will win 0:1 or 0:2 but INFOS are welcome...

Porto win seems to be clear but today friday has only one match for the Portugal and I am skeptical taking hot fav to win.

Leiria has one player out that is quite important (Touré). Porto is without injuries concerns (except long term injuries).

Leiria did not played well against Benfica in cup game last weekend. They were very defensive and played quite bad football. However, they almost won with a goal in freekick and then a defensive strategy. That can always happen in football.

Today, I don't see at all they winning Porto. A away bet is a very nice option. X2 is a sure bet IMO.

i got -1 @ 2.080 at Pinna a price i think is really value.

Ok Leiria doesnt concede many but their attack is also very weak. Also Porto historically has a great record at Leiria where the homa advantage is minimal.

I see the worst case scenario being a void bet.

Porto will probably give a debut to new argentinian Lucas Mareque

PREDICTIONS FOR THIS GAME UNFORTUNATELY HAD NO MEANING



porto was playing very well, untill ...........THE REFEREE WITH THE OTHER 2 CROWS, DICEDED TO GIVE THE GAME TO LEIRIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

-he didnt give 2 penalties for porto!!!!
-stopped an attack of postinga for fantasma offside!!!!!
-gave a red card to quaresma!(maybe it was)
-gave many yellow cards to porto players with no reason!!!!!......( he made them loose there concentracion....so they couldnt play good)
-the goal of leiria came from fantasma foul.

THE F...NG REFEREE DID EVERYTHINK TO GIVE THE WIN TO LEIRIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

am i right?

I absolutely agree with zampas, It was simply ridiculous what referee did during that match...

The main reason because Porto lost is because they failed something like 20 goals. 2 shots at crossbar, many "open goal" shots failed. And Leiria, in 2/3 danger shoots, score at freekick. Justice doesn't happen in football and this kind of things can happen.

Quaresma red card is quite dificult to have an opinion... I think he really tries to punch the oponnent but it isn't suceed.

A surprise result (2nd defeat of Porto in 16 games). You can always say that referee was the biggest responsable, but when you lose a game because you failed lots of chances, you can only blame yourself for that.


For today, we have two interesting games. First a No Bet game, IMO. Belenenses-Benfica. Belenenses is playing the best of the season: they have 4 wins in last 6 games (1 of the wins against Braga); 1 draw (against Sporting - and they played much better than Sporting in this game); and a 4-0 defeat against Benfica.

This 4-0 in Benfica home was a clear bad day of Belenenses. They simple were not playing well. They balance at home is 3-1-3, Benfica balance away is 3-2-3.

No big injuries for Belenenses, but Benfica just lost 3 players: Ricardo Rocha (went to Totenham), Alcides (PSV) and Kikin Fonseca (returned to Mexico) and new players should only came during this week.

So... if you like to take risks, a Home Win with odds of 4 is not that crazy. However, it is always a dificult game to predict.



The other game is Paços - Braga. Paços is undefeated at home this year (4-4-0). Actually, they don't lose at almost a year for championship at home. However, they just lost 4 (!) major players this week in transfers: Fredy, Didi, Dani e Ronny (this is best goalscorer of championship). So... in a small team, losing players with that importance is quite dramatic. With bets of 2.5@ in Braga (that is the 4th best team of Portugal) maybe that could be a nice idea. I will try a X2.

I not trust really in motivation factor. They are championship contenders, if they don't play with motivation all the matches, they never will win it. Of course that would be in the mind of the players, but it isn't a bonus that can change a game.

Justice doesn't happen in football and this kind of things can happen. Soccer injustice is something you could tell long stories about, but I don't think you gave the right example. If you are a big team player, earning thousands of $$$ weekly, given a "star" status by media, and you're so damn overrated that you can't manage to grab three points from average side's field, you waste so many chances that school kids would laugh at when playing on streets, then it is 100% justice if you lose this match.
