Does anyone one know what is the difference between spread and moneyline?:
(for example):

spread
Blackhawks +1/2 +170
Nashville Predators -½ -200

Moneyline
Blackhawks +250
Nashville Predators -300

IMO Nasville -1/2 -200 is the same as moneyline -300. Am I wrong?
What if I took Blackhawks ml +250 and they won but in overtime. Do I win this bet, or not?

thx for your answer!

The thing is that if you have taken spread the predators and game goes to OT and Blackhawks win then you would have won the spread but if you had taken Predators moneyline you would have lost the bet.
I hope I made it clear for you.

OK, thanks- I got this part. But If I took Blackhawks ml and the game went to the OT and they scored a goal there and won the whole game, so I loose this bet anyway, right?

If you had taken Blackhawks ML and it goes to OT and Blackhawks win it, then you would have won the bet. And I made a mistake in my initial post.
If you had taken the spread and it goes OT then the spread would be won by the team that has +0.5. These tits made me write completely the opposite!!!
