:-))) NBA today (out of competition - only for fun):

Washington - New Orleans (-6) away win odds 2.10 Pinnacle Sports

While not in playoff contention, the Wizards suffered another setback this week, as swingman Jerry Stackhouse announced he will miss the remainder of the season. Stackhouse spoke with coach Eddie Jordan and his teammates after he scored 20 points in 31 minutes in Saturday's 122-110 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers. Stackhouse has missed most of this season with an injured right knee. Opening a stretch of five straight games against sub-.500 teams, the New Orleans Hornets continue their push for home-court advantage in the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs. New Orleans, 19-11 at home at 13-16 on the road, has a chance to move a half-game up on the idle Bucks. Hornets are back on track with Davis and Mashburn back in the starting lineup. They are also 9-4 ATS on this court.

Chicago - Cleveland (-2) away win odds 1.95 Pinnacle Sports

Despite being 11 games under .500, Cleveland is only a half-game behind Miami (25-35) one game behind Toronto (25-34) for one of the final two postseason berths in the mediocre East. Cleveland is 14-12 since Jan. 1, and is looking to make the playoffs for the first time since the 1997-98 season. The visitor has won and covered the last 3 times these teams have met, including a pair of December meetings. The Cavs are now playing their best "team" basketball of the year, as they have won 4 of their last 5, including 2 of their last 3 on the road.
Cavs are 5-0 ATS in their last five overall. CLE is 6-1-1 ATS in their last eight road games. Bulls are 1-4 ATS in their last five overall.

Utah - Detroit (-1.5) away win odds 1.95 PointBet

The Detroit Pistons will go for their fifth straight win and a rare sweep of the Utah Jazz when they visit the Delta Center. Detroit, 10-23 all-time in road games against the Jazz, has won its last two trips to Utah after dropping the previous 11 from 1990-2001.
DET is 7-3 ATS in the last ten meetings. Pistons are 4-0 ATS in their last four overall. Jazz are 4-1 ATS in their last five overall. UTA is 1-4 ATS in their last five home games.

Strange results - all picks lost. I hope that all will be better in competition again :-)

Good luck :-)

Lucien

Hi
My pick for tonight is:

Utah Jazz - Pistons - 1,5 2 1,926 Pinnacle

How many times I can write about overachieving Mormons...it is another pick of mine against this team.

The Detroit Pistons will go for their fifth straight win. Likely they will be without Hamilton and Okur for sure. Some source said that Hamilton is playing, if so starting five of Pistons looks like:

F Tayshaun Prince, F Ben Wallace, C Rasheed Wallace, G Hamilton, G Billups - WOW - Bad Boys are back ??? Four potencial all stars.

Let's take a look on Jazz:

F Kirilenko, F Tom Gugliotta, C Jarron Collins, G Aleksandar Pavlovic, G Carlos Arroyo

OK, Kirilenko will score even 30, but who will be another option ? Veteran Gugliota?

First game Pistons by 21.

Competition has not started yet, so all of those picks will not be counted. Still, I think I see some nice picks here :).
