TEAM NEWS:
Darlington are sweating on the fitness of skipper Neil Maddison ahead of their home game against Northampton.
The midfielder strained a hamstring during Saturday's 3-0 win at Bristol Rovers and was withdrawn.
Northampton's Tom Youngs will be available for selection again after suffering no reaction to his knee injury against Rochdale.
But Ashley Westwood (hamstring), Peter Clark (knee) and Josh Low (foot) all remain out of contention.
===============================================
Northampton making a late bid for the play offs need to get something here but also Darlington need to stay away from the bottom 2.
Both teams have picked up good form recently and have had good results and will be trying to keep the run going but may cancel each other out.
My Pick:
Darlington v Northampton Draw @ 3.20 [2.5] Ladbrokes
Memphis Grizzlies - Dallas Mavericks UNDER 209,5 pts 1,90 @ EXPEKT
I think that the line 209,5 is set to high fo these teams. Dallas is a high scoring team but Memphis Grizzlies know how to play against them. I also think that there will be not much of the motivation on both sides after the Allstar weekend.
some statistics:
 Under is 8-3 in DAL's last 11 overall
 Under is 10-4 in MEM's last 14 overall
Pick of the day 17.2.:
Houston Rockets - Washington Wizards (+9) home win odds 1.91 Sportingbet
WAS is 2-12 ATS on two or more days rest. Wizards are 2-8 ATS in their last ten on the road. HOU is 5-2 ATS in the last seven meetings.
STANDINGS (through Feb. 15): Wizards - 6th place, 14 1/2 GB, Atlantic Division. Rockets - 4th place (tied), 7 GB, Midwest Division
SEASON SERIES: Rockets, 1-0.
LAST MEETING: Jan. 13; Rockets, 93-80. At Washington, Yao scored 14 of his 21 points in the third quarter, but wasn't needed in the decisive run in the fourth as the Rockets shredded the Wizards' interior defense.
ROAD/HOME RECORDS: Wizards - 5-20 on the road; Rockets - 17-8 at home.
The Wizards are just 2-12 ATS with 2-or-more days of rest, and should be just a bit sluggish against a Houston team that went to the break off a whipping of the Lakers, and are a nice 5-2 ATS the last 7 times these teams have met.
Overall record in February: 4/5.

Pick 6 3/5 +62pts
English 2nd Div Tranmere v Plymouth Away win 2.4 Centrebet
I can't ignore Plymouth at odds like this. They're the best away team in the league W7 D5 L3.
There are reasons for the nice odds, Plymouth have hit a mini slump losing to Brighton and only drawing at home to Bournemouth. Tranmere are on form and on a high after reaching the FA cup quarterfinals.
However I think this could count against them, after a high often comes a low. They've failed to beat the likes of Sheff W, Hartlepool and Blackpool at home, these are average teams and certainly not as good as Plymouth.
Plymouth didn't play at the weekend and so they will be rested, they need points to keep ahead of QPR and Bristol City
A good sign is that Plymouth hammered Tranmere 6-0 in the first fixture, there won't be as many goals here but I think they can still do the business.
I'm also putting this up as a pick in the main forum - more stats etc there.LOST 3-0 not even close, Plymouth didn't turn up :(
My 5th pick. ABN/AMRO Tennis Tournament (NED)
Martin VERKERK - Jarkko NIEMINEN, pick 2 (2.02 @ Gamebookers) / 6-7 7-6 4-6 Pick WON !!
H2H (1-2):
08.05.2003 Rome Clay 6-0 6-3
20.09.2002 Davis Cup Carpet 2-6 4-6
07.08.2000 Sopot Clay 4-6 3-6
Arguments:
1. Jarkko have a good p2p and play most strongly at hard surface. He have a good season start, beat Massu and lose Safin (7-6(5) 6-4 4-6 6-4) in Aus Open.
2. Verkerk play at home, but he lose this at 1st round in last year.
Hi,
today I´ve one hockey pick for you...
Liberec - Vsetin
PICK WON - Liberec 3:1
This is game from Czech hockey league - TIPSPORT EXTRALIGA. Liberec is 13. (they has 54 points which is 7 points more than last Ceske Budejovice) meanwhile Vsetin is 11. (with 57 points). Both teams have still chance to reach playoffs, but this is only teoretic. So when Liberec will win this match they´ll be almost sure out of relegation zone...
... and the odds in Czech Republic went from 1.95 to 1.15!!! And some bookie as TIPSPORT blocked this match already...
PICK: Liberec
ODDS: 1.8
BOOKIE: Bet365
My February stats after this pick: +384 (6 of 8 picks)
Pick No.1
Lietuvos rytas(-8.5) - Lukoil WON 105:78 (+27)
Lietuvos Rytas won first mach away 80:77. They had very bad start (3:16) but then they started to play like they allways plays and came back to the game and won it. Lietuvos Rytas this season lost just 2 games at home: Vs Bears (it was the worst game of LRytas this season) and against Zalgiris this weekend 73:74 (it was good game for LRytas with very very unlucky end). Other last games LRytas won with big diference (vs. Split Cro. W 103-56 vs. Ionikos W 102-69 at Cholet W 52-76) so I think 8.5 HP is not to high.
PICK: Lietuvos Rytas
ODDS: 1.9

Pick:

Odds:

Bookie:

Result:
90-58 WON (bigtime)
===========================================
REASONS
Mr Petrovic stated that his team will try to just win today since 26 points are way to much for Lleida to cover. Both teams will play with their best players as there are no injuries for both!Makedonikos is really weak away team and has lost by 32 to Estudiantes…I expect them to lose today too by 10…
Good Luck with your choice!!

Tommy ROBREDO (ESP) - Tim HENMAN (GBR)
Pick;
Take ROBREDO @3.00 @Sportingbet (@2.50 for the comp)
Analysis;
Sportingbet odds @3.00 are a clear VALUE BET for robredo today. I don't see HENMAN as clear favouritte and robredo to lose is never sure in any match vs any oponent..
Gamebookers has odds @2.50 , maybe not the best. And i would not take that. But SPORTINGBET @3.00 made me deposit some money there again

I guess this match can end either side. And take the higher odds are usual..
ROBREDO played and won a DOUBLES match yesterday...

Boston@Toronto
Boston had a 6 game winning streak before dropping its last 2 at Ottawa and Chicago. They are currently on a 7-game road trip and are 3 points behind first place Toronto in the Northeast division. I have to say their road record is quite impressive (16-6-4-5 straight up) and have posted a mark of 6-1-1-2 in their last 10 games overall. Toronto on the other hand is 2nd in the eastern conference standings and has also played some good hockey as of late, winning 9 of its last 12 games. Their offensive line has been on a roll, scoring 4 goals or more, in their last 5. Their defence needs to work a little better as they have allowed 3.9 goals in their last 5 even though allowing just 2.3 at home overall. Boston is scoring 1.9 per game against division opponents while shooting just 24 shots. Once again, I don’t have any problem, putting my money on top seeded teams especially when they are playing at home with odds above 2.00.

i took philly+6 varius bookies
philly is in battle together with boston for 8 spot in east.after all star match nba started many people think and i agree.philly good new coach and they all know how important is now to play good for them if they wan,t to play playoffs.no special injury report only in denver camby is ?.i think it won,t be winning match for denver to win in every case for 6 points. philadelphia will fight here hard.
Pick Number 4 (until now 3/3 +185)
Cruzeiro (Brazil) - Santos Laguna (Mexico) 1 @1.45 BetAndWin1-1 FT - Pick LOST
Cruzeiro is performing very good in Copa Libertadores up to now. From 2 matches they have 2 wins, while the Mexican side is with win and draw. So that match will be the crush in the group. They will fight for the first place. Cruzeiro won their two matches with no difficulties and scored 3 goals in both cases.
Santos Laguna had difficulties with Concepcion in the first match and drawed 2-2 at home. Santos started the new Mexican championship very badly, after 4 matches they are 16th with 1-1-2 and 6-6 goals. That shows that they concede goals very easy. Cruzeiro is the champion of the Brazil from the last championship and i think that they won't have problems to beat Santos and to assure the first place in 3rd group of Copa Libertadores.
SUCCESS to everyone !!!
Miami - Utah 2, 2.58@ Pinnacle
Utah have been a surprise team all season, but collected most of their wins at home. However, they reverted the trend lately, having won 3 of the last 4 away form home, suffering the only loss in San Antonio narrowly. The Jazz won convincingly against the Heat a month ago (97-85), and furthermore seem to be a nightmarish opponent for Miami resulting with 6 consecutive wins. Of course, both the Jazz and Heat team have drastically changed recently, but the systems remained the same and under such coaches as Sloan and Pat Riley/Stan Van Gundy, systems win the games.
Jazz legends Malone and Stockton are gone, but Utah remained the same hard-nosed tough defending team. The allowed FG% does not confirm my words, however that's mostly the result of their turnovers resulting in easy fast-break points for their opponents. Even though, they are quite a decent fast-break team themselves, and when they have the rebounding edge in a game, which they have against the Heat, they are likely to turn the game to their direction.
Heat have been too 3-point dependant recently, but they should struggle from beyond the arc after the all-star break. The most important player for Miami has unquestionably been Lamar Odom, but I expect a weak game from him, since he'll be covered by one of the best defensive players in the league, Andrei Kirilenko. Odom is turnover-prone, and tough coverage from the Russian standout should lead to a lot of fast-breaks for Utah.
The Heat are decent at home (14-10), but they've lost most of the tougher games on their turf. I favor the Jazz for an outright win as a 55-60% dog, and the odds for their win surpassed my expectations, so 2.58 will do the trick for me.
Washington Capitals - Ottawa Senators Senators-0.5 1.67@centrebet
Again Ottawa for me...
Just 3 points to catch Philadelphia for that top of division, and meeting team who lost all chances to get to playoffs...
I see Philla losing some points in the near future (tonight also), so it could be good motivation for Senators to get a win tonight, and motivation is the only thing they need, as quality is already on their side (huuge).
H2H very nice, last 4 in Wahington 1:5;2:6;0:0;5:11.
Tonight, i see Ottawa on top of north east conference.
This bet includes OT.

Philadelphia At Tampa Bay - 1, 2.05 @ WilliamHill
Though the Lightning are unbeaten in four (3-0-1), have won nine of their last 11 (9-1-1) and own a 16-point lead over second-place Florida in the Southeast, also coach John Tortorella wants his team to remain focused.
The Flyers had their five-game winning streak halted with a 5-2 loss to visiting San Jose on Monday.
John LeClair and Simon Gagne scored for the Eastern Conference-leading Flyers, who lost for just the second time in 12 games (9-2-1).
Sean Burke allowed five goals on 20 shots, losing for the first time in three starts since coming to the Flyers in a trade last week.
It would be not easy for flyers but I think they'll cope with it.
Hi
My pick for tonight:
Miami Heat - Utah Jazz +4 1 1,901 Pinnacle
I rely on Miami's superb rookie Dwyane Wade. He is on fire - last game 27 against Orlando and good appearance in All Star weekend. I cannot see any Utah's player to make him down. Of course I have to mention about other good players Jones (I hope he finally will find his game level) and almost all star player Lamar Odom. This players can give nice basketball lessons to anybody. Unfortunately whole Miami's team is underachieving in my opinion. They are only 22-32 in first half of season - now the things have to change...they are 10th in East and full of hope to catch play-off spot.
Utah Jazz, God Damn - what a team...full of craftsman...Opposite to Miami their are tremendous overachieved. If their keep a pace, Jerry Sloan should be a Coach of The Year. Now , Harpring is still injured...
I know, they beat Miami recently 97-85 in Mormon's Castle in Salt Lake, but...they had superb % - 50.5% field goals !!! Even wooden Ostertag made 5/6!! In away game in my opinion they could not repeat it.
Greetings Miami 97 - 85 Utah WON
My first pick this month (just about the right time to start ;)).
Offer: NBA. Gasol Pau - Finley Michael. (Most points Memphis vs Dallas)
Pick: A
Odds: 1.80
Bookie: Expekt
LOST: 15-17
Well what can I say, Finley has been in superb form recently, in his last six away games he scored 24, 22, 29, 17, 23 and 33 points (24.33 on average). In both games against Memphis this season he outscored Gasol (24-10 and 19-17) and traditionally Finley plays well against Memphis. I expect him to score more than 20 points tonight.
Gasol is a good player but he only scores above 20 points if he is extremely precise, shooting like 65-75% from the field, but it doesn't happen that often. In his last home games he scored 22, 27, 18, 10, 13, 15, 20 and 17 points. That's 17.75 points on average, 7 points lower than Finley and it's a big gap, so with odds like 1.80 Finley is a good bet for me.
Pick No.6:
Toronto - Boston Toronto to score at least 3 goals 1,6 NordicBet
Be back in a sec with analysis...
Well I hope my pick counts cause I'm 7 minutes late to post one hour before the start.
Tornto is very much in form as far as scoring goals is concerned. They have 7 wins in last 9 games, but in 8 of these 9 games they scored at least 3 goals. Acctually that happened only once, otherwise they scored at least 4 or more so... My choice is clear. Plus their match-ups with Boston are always very much open (3-2, 6-0 just the last 2). Well it's a clear bet on one of the highest scoring teams in NHL and in form at the moment.
Good luck everyone!!!
