Am kommenden Dienstag steigt um 19.30 Uhr der Pokalknüller gegen Hertha BSC Berlin in der ausverkauften osnatel ARENA. Dabei muss Trainer Claus-Dieter Wollitz aller Voraussicht nach auf seinen Torjäger Addy-Waku Menga verzichten.
Menga konnte nach seinem in Ahlen erlittenen Muskelfaserriss bisher nicht ins Mannschaftstraining einsteigen. Der Stürmer befindet sich weiterhin zur Behandlung im Rehazentrum medic.os in Osnabrück.
Pausieren muss auch Abwehrspieler Florian Heidenreich, der sich eine Achillessehnenreizung zugezogen hat. Damit steht er Wollitz für die kommende Pokalpartie ebenfalls nicht zur Verfügung.

This is probably the crappiest preview i ever read here and i've read a few.
It's amazing how such short write-up can contain some many mistakes and worse obvious misleading information such as statements that Nurnberg sit in the bottom part of the table or that Unterhaching will surely not relegate this season.

Besides, they have young and perspective Lechleiter which is very good player and should play in Bundesliga 1. Well, first of all....I don`t want to argue with anyone, but "Deuchars" explanation is crap.
I respect all attitudes, but it`s more than crap if you misslead possible bettors with this info...if you don`t have the right info, STAY AWAY!!!!
Well, I`ll bet only one 1game today, Frankfurt - Köln.
DFB-Cup is too unpredictable to bet high or even medium stakes on.
IMO there isn`t a single " huge favourite" today. Not even Nürnberg or Hertha.
Nürnberg will play without GK Schäfer and I don`t trust 2nd goalkeeper unless he did a god job last weekend.
Osnabrück is cleary a cup-team. Hertha on the other hand is NOT. everyone that bets on Hertha today is insane. Well, if they win you might be happy but Hertha never had quality in Cup games in the past years. For example the leaded against St. Pauli, got a draw in the last minute and lost after penalties. My advice: Stay away and safe your monwy for better games.
Osnabrück fans always go crazy at home, especially against 1.Bundeliga teams. One is sure, they are very,very hard to beat at home and Hertha will have a though evening.
It`s better to look at Frankfurt - Köln
Everyone that still hasn`t realized that Köln won`t be a promotion team 2007, has no sense for reality.
Everyone praised Daum, even called him "Messias" and everyone thought that all would change with him.
So, what changed? NOTHING. Köln has a good squad and a great GK but I wonder myself how they can play like idiots every week. A team that leads witn 2:0 after 30min and plays against a 9men and then receives 2goals is not normal.
Moreover Köln played against a unexperienced weakened Lauern defense.
Wel, for today Cabanas and Novacovic are still out, while Broich and Scherz are doubtful.
Scherz scored both goals for Köln and even if he plays he won`t be fit 100%.
Cabanas is a very huge blow..he`s a kind of chief in the defense and without him Köln defense seems rather unstable.
Looking at Frankfurt....of course they`re better but if you ever had seen a single game of Frankurg you would have noticed that they need too much chances until they score.
Takahara is their own real striker, Amanatidis had his great games last season but now he`s mor or less useless.
Takahara may score 3goals tonight or none.He`s so unstable, that`s typical for him.
Besides him the only dangerous player tonight for Frankurt will be Albert Streit with his corners and free-kicks. i wouldn`t be surpised if the game was decided by a free-kick.

I know that Cup games are very dificult to predict but in the last years there were more and more low-scoring games,especially in later stages of the cup when the amateur team were out.
Alpay will be back for Köln in the defense and with him they should be at least stable enough to prevent many goals of Frankfurt tonight.
You`re right the Köln played great against Schalke and kicked them out in the last round.

Well, odds on Duisburg and Offenbach look really tasty.
Hannover is not bad this year, but they are simply terrible at home. Duisburg showed several times their qualities, and odds around 5.00 are too high imo.
Offenbach is on fire in 2.Bundelisga,while Burghausen plays very unstable since the beginning of the season. 1.85 is really good for homewin.
Nevertheless, no bets so far...i check newest infos tomorrow and will publish my last bet for 2006 in BA

Well I***8217;ll try this bet cause this two teams are now about at the same level. Hannover struggling in League 1 and Duisburg doing good job in League 2 and will probably advance back to League 1. Hannover will surely focus on championship. I heard they will field mixed squad tomorrow, but this is not confirmed yet.
Duisburg already kicked off Bayer Leverkusen, which is far better then poor Hannover.
Anyway, Duisburg has great H2H against Hannover:

That is even a more annoying unprofessional analyze then the one before. So Bayern cares less about the cup then Aachen? Why should they? They always want to win all titles and they always clearly state that.
And Bayern will be more carefull in regular time as they anyway can win in extratime IF THEY WANT? Meaning if they want to win they will play more carefull in normal time as it is easier then to decide it in extratime or how one has to understand this argumentation?
And btw who cares about 2003? They will go on the pitch "ah we lost here three years ago so we have to be carefull. But if we want to win win we can do that in extratime."?

Duisburg to lose against Hannover is my bet for tomorrow.
Ok first of all they play at Wolfsburg but that is not important, they anyway don´t care about the cup so they lose against both of the teams.
If they decide still to win they can do that in extratime but that is not included in the bet so here we have a great bet.

yes, i was a bit too sure as i'm a supporter of nürnberg... i know i shouldn't bet on my favorite team
but normally they should have won that match in regular time as they dominated the whole match and wasted some good chances

I see a real and safe value in this match. Wolfburg performance is not bad recently (actually, really not bad from what i've seen against Werder), if fielding their regular squad, I bet Furth will definitely lose, and for the odds at about 2 its a good value.

Hmmmmmmm, the fact that this match is on TV, doesn't mean that Bayern will win mate!
I have watched plentty matches of Bayern in the cup and for them those kind of games are not so kind....they will have problems with this aachen squad for sure.........if Bayern score an early goal they can make it easier for them, but if not I think it will be a scoreless draw and an extra time match!
It's not worth to take Bayern to win @ 1.40-1.45 and shake to the last minute.......

Bremen was very very lucky in a sunday win against Wolfsburg. Victory cames in 86'. Before and after that Baokye and Klimowitz almoust scored and suprised everyone. Klaus Augenthalers team played exscelent in second half. Referee definatly was not on their side when he simply must get the penalty for them on Boakye. From Hoflands and couch Augenthaler words, cup is not secundary for the club and they wont to try to get the final in may in Berlin. Last match against mighty Bremen is a good sighn to expect a good performans in today match in Furth.
Mohlmanns team played bad in this part of the season. Host matches in second league ended with 3-2-3 and 15-14 goal diference.
They are only 3 points in front of the Burghousen who is at the moment on the place for relegation! They know that in this competition their chances are very very small and IMO in today match their wisch would be to try to get draw, posible ET or pen. end.! IMO 2.45 in my local are good enough to try for a Wolfs win in this match. Performance in Bremen is god recommend!
Whats the weather like in Germany? Are there going to be postponed matches?

Very interesting match we have here.Greuther is 2nd division team and in their league they are not doing good so far.Last weekend they lost game by leaders Karlsruhe and now they are close to relegation zone.
At their Playmobil stadium they just won three out of eight played matches what is not good home record.They have goal difference 14:14 and are the team who allowed most goals as a host in Germany second Bundesliga.
I think that their motivation for this Cup will be very low.They have really small chances to win this Cup with opponents like:Hertha,Stuttgart,Bayern.
Wolfsburg are in little crisis and have lost last three games.In last game against Bremen they played good and was close to take point.But Greuther are not Verder and I see some good chances for Wolfsburg to take a win in this one.
Wolfsburg striker Hanke will miss the game,but defender Quiroga will be back after suspension.
Greuther will be with full squad.
On one side we have struggling 2nd division team who have little chance to win this competition.
On other side we have 1st division team who has better chances to win it.I am not saying that they will but I rate Wolfsburg as much better team.
Their motivation will be sky-high after 3 consecutive loses,and in this moment Greuther seems to be good opponent for Wolfsburg to end losing streak.All in all I think that Augenthaler will know how to motivate his players to get victory in this one.Its hard to imagine Wolfsburg to lose this one,maybe they will not win but with this odds its worth to put a medium stakes on away team victory.Good luck!

Well ,due to lack of time only some lines for my bets.
after my lucky won bet yesterday i won`t change my philosophy for tonight.
ONLY SMALL STAKES ALLOWED
that means ,that i play only 3stakes per game.
The first game is Offenbach - Burghausen
First I thought of betting on HW, then on Under but none of the bets has value.
Well, Offenbach won their last 2matches but on the other hand Burghausen hasn`t lost in the last 4games.
Burghausen will have all players available while Offenbach will miss Dundee, Toppmöller and Dorn. Especially striker dorn is a huge blow.
They still have top scorer Türker and the 2nd striker Mokthari but I doubt that Offenbach will win today easily. Burghausen has new coach since 1week and his teams traditionally plays very good in Offenbach. Last season they won both games against them.
It`s cup-time and we often see some surprises here. Despite Offenbachs good run,there isn`t as much difference in the quality of the teams as the table shows.
All in all, extra time looks quite possible for me, and therefore I`ll play Burghausen +0.5 @ 1.85.
Hannover - Duisburg
As I already said yesterday ,there`s value on Duisburg. Of course they are without striker Mokthari (yes, he`s the brother of Offenbachs Mokthari*g*), but they have still enough quality in their team.
We are still talking about Hannover, one of the worst home-sides in Bundeliga and Duisburg,one of the promotion canidates in 2.Bundesliga.
Hannover is without Hustzi, their new youngster and they have no real top-scorers in their team this season.
Well, Brdaric maybe, but jokes like Stajner cannot be called "striker".
Hannover has a well-organized defense which really played bad in Nürnberg last weekend, but on the long run they played very stable in away games this season.
I don`T know why,but in home games they play awful...only 1game won.
I suppose that the cup won`t change anything here.
That`s why I cannot see any huge differences concerning both teams that would legitimate these odd.

Have to agree with you on this one - backing Bayern at such low odds and in a cup game where everything is possible - thx but I'll pass.
I think Bayern will win today. Yes they had bad results in history in similar matches, but history isn't so cruel to repeat such results every year...
Everyone is cautious cause of Bayern's past results in CUP games but if you forget that for a moment , and see this game from different angle, you'll see that it can be only one winner in it and it's not homeside.
Achen started well but slowly they are loosing power... I just can't see them stoping Bayern, which then again had similar game in last round and comfortably won. (And saved few energies aswell).
