Den Bosch-VVV

It's a match between two teams very close to each other in the table. There is not much difference in quality between the teams, but tonight I would go with Den Bosch. Den Bosch have had a little form dip, but there were reasons (a lot of injuries) for that and now that slowly everybody is coming back from injuries they seem to be strong again. Last week they won the important local derby at Top Oss convincingly 3-0, the week before they had a good 3-0 home win against Volendam. VVV had a very poor game at Volendam last week (1-0). Also some injury worries this week: Linssen and Ammi will probably be out, Ofrany is doubtful but he might play. Also Rik Platvoet is still injured and -apart from the 4-1 win at Top Oss three weeks ago- scoring has been a bit of a problem lately. Team news aside, Den Bosch also have a good home record (7-2-1), while VVV are mediocre at best in away games (3-2-5).

Hi!

Any info about these two matches?
Maastricht-Volendam, Dordrecht-Emmen

Also, what if a team that has already won a period, wins another one? Does the playoff spot go to the best ranked team?

Yes, normally the period title will to second ranked team. If second ranked team also has won a period title, there will be no period winner and play-off spot will go at the end of the season to best ranked team in the league left without a period title.

Dordrecht-Emmen looks like a very hard one to predict. Dordrecht had a good start to the season, while Emmen had a very poor start. In recent weeks the situation has reversed. Emmen are really playing some good football and getting decent results. Dordrecht have lost 4 on the trot, but it should be noted that three of these matches were against very strong opposition (RBC, Den Bosch and De Graafschap). And yes, their home record is very good (8-0-2)

No bet for me.

Maastricht v Volendam is a bit difficult for me to predict as I support MVV. Volendam are a strong home team, but not that good in away games (only 1 win). MVV have been very poor recently, getting only 1 point from last 5 matches. It's no surprise that these bad results coincided with the absence of injured star-player Drazen Brncic. He will be on the bench tonight and will come on in 2nd half probably. All in all it's a difficult match to predict, but i am hopeful MVV will get a decent result. :)

The only info I can tell you now is that big odd drop on Venlo not to lose or X2.

One more question, ruudje.

If two or more teams are level on points after a period, the superior goal difference is the decider?

RBC Roosendal have proven that they are the favourites to get promoted to the Dutch premier league this season. They have dealt with lots of good home and away teams in the recent matches and today they are guests to Cambuur Leeuwarden.

Cambuur was always been a medicore team who have lost against Telstar and some mid table teams. RBC took all opportunity to beat their tough opponents both home and away from home.

RBC is in great form defeating AGOVV and I can't see them losing three points here.

Go for Away Win....
