Alemannia Aachen v Bayern München
2/2 @2.20 @gamebookers

The giant of the german footbal is hurt. After a disappointing draw away to Frankfurt, Bayern plays a Cup game against the main candidate 4 promotion from 2nd Bundesliga, Aachen.
I see a clear win for Bayern, with some goals coming right from first half. Aachen will fight bravely, but i don't think they can resist to Bayer. They wanna win anything they can to save this not soi good season 4 them. Werder is already qualified...so maybe a possible meet with them should make Bayer play better.
Bayer meets Real in CL and it would be very difficult. They are 3rd in Bundesliga. CUP is in someway a priority. I think the best sqaud will be used, and Aachen can't do anything about it, even if they play very good on home ground.

I see hungry Bayern taking the lead quickly...right from 1st half. so a solid 2.20 on Bayer/Bayern (HT/FT)

Nigeria(-1)-Benin(+1) 1 1,65 European handicap @Interwetten

lost (nothing tastes like 93 minute goal that kills your bet...

Nigeria comes to this match with strongest squad: Okocha, Kanu, Aghahowa etc. no one will be rested. After losing to Morocco and trashing South Africa, nigeria need another big win to raise confidence and morale. They must win to secure a quaterfinal place.

Benin is weakest team in this championships, ranked very low. They lost both previous games 0-2 aganst South Africa and 0-4 to Morocco.
They are very low level side, class difference here is big. Benin have weak tactics, little organisation and horrible defence.

If Nigeria will come fully concentrated and with will to win by many goals, and that`s what they assure of in interviews, they`ll have no problems to beat this -1 handicap.

Odds 1,65 are very nice, becuase other bookies offers -1,75 hancicap... Winning by two goals will be easy if Nigeria will want it, and they should want it and have no problems at all.

Aachen - Bayern DFB Cup QF @1.60 GB

Bayern is to good for 2.Bundesliga Aachen. I don't believe they will be so unlucky as against Eintracht at weekend. Also Aachen lost their first home game in 2. Bundesliga on Saturday (vs Burghausen 0:1). Bayern want to win something this year and as things stands now DFB Cup is the best shoot.

Im not big fan of the rules of this competition, but perhaps its good for me to also look for shorter priced bets than usual.

Tottenham-Man C , 1 @ 2,05 @ Unibet 3-4, LOST

Because Tottenham has decent form, not the same can be said about City. The danger is that Man C only have FA cup to accive something this season, but I think backig traditionally strong home team (also traditionally good cup team) is better.

Hi,

My pick for tonight:

Dallas (-10 handi) - Golden State 1,943 Pinnacle

Dallas lost awfully last time against Denver. They was leading by 20 within the game! Mavs want to get back on track - especially for their fanatic spectators. No injuries, high motivation...Back to Warriors - lack of Mike Dunlevy should be crusial factor - one of the main team scorer&rebounder. I expect "up tempo" game - Warriors do not have as many sharp shooters as Mavs to keep pace with them.

Greetings

Krka Novo Mesto - Unicaja , pick 2 - @1.55 at BAW (without hendicap) 78:77 - BET LOST (bad bad luck)

Krka is poorest team in all competition , and i can not bolive how they play in euroleague
Unicaja have some "good" results in past , CSKA beat them after "extra time" at home , and we all know how CSKA play in Moskow , also Zalgiris beat them very hard , and they beat Siena at home easy...
i think that they will beat poor team Krka if they take game just litlle seriously
game is not important for anybody of this two teams , but i can not imagine how Krka beat Unicaja , or how Krka beat anyone  :D , i watch them few times and they just shooted 3 points , and playing like **** in defanse , team without any strategy

First i want to praise the new rules.Although they have some disadvantages, i believe they'll bring more positive than negative things.
I especially like the rule about opening a thread at midnight :D .

Ulker Istanbul (-6) - Cibona Zagreb 1, 1.85 @ Gamebookers bet voided (76-70)

The clash for the second spot in the group A will take place today in Istanbul. After both teams got 3 successive wins they are already "seen" in the top 16 fase.Anyway, Ulker to get there needs home wins. After the arrival of coach Ataman and Naumoski, which came at nearly same time as Blair's recovery, Turks (6-5) finally started to play as everyone expected before the start of the season. Now they also have a chance to revenge for one of their toughest defeats this season in a replayed match in Zagreb, when they trailed more than 20 points for big part of the game, and finished with -11.
Cibona (7-4) is in the best shape from the start of the season also. They nearly forgot when they lost for the last time in Adriatic league. Also they've been briliant in Euroleague, they almost mathematically secured a place in the next round. But, on the contrary from Ulker i don't think their moment of glory will last very long.IMO they aren't that good, and don't have quality center to compete with top teams, which is manifested especially in away matches.Simply, quality, motivation and home advantage are one the Turks' side.

P.S.I expect another revenge in Valencia today, even -15.5 is not high imo  .

Hi,
I was thinking of not posting today (since now with the 10 pick rule we can actually wait to pick really good values) but I think that I came up with a somewhat acceptable bet for today.

Morocco vs S. Africa pick Morocco @ 2.15 @ Gamebookers PICK LOST (1-1)

The reason that I am picking this is somewhat weird since everybody can claim that a draw is enough for Morocco and there is no value in betting in a game like that since both of the teams will rest the first lineups for different reasons. Morocco will rest the players for the qfinals and S. Africa will want to give a chance to players that have little experience of big competitions (since only with a miracle this team will qualify to the next round).
But somehow I have the feeling that S. African players have their minds elsewhere than this cup. They lost to an indifferent Nigeria 4-0 and that summed up their whole image for the tournament.
Morocco on the other side has a very solid squad that in my opinion will reach the semis and is a team that is capable of winning matches even when they are on a not so good day.
I think that it is time to see a team qualifying with maximum points in this cup and since it hasn't happened yet I think that it is time to see it today.
Good luck to all.

Ulker-Vip Cibona

Ulker fans demands another win.Ulker is on the great run since Blair return to the team after injury and Booker finally find his form.In last game against Roma they play great defense and won very easy. But on the other hand what we can tell about Cibona. They trashed Partizan in Zagreb(its hurt me a lot :( )Great form by Rimac,Goleamac,Vrankovic and very good in assists Penn.Ulker got record 6-5 and Cibona 7-4 and I think Cibona are in TOP 16 for sure.
But Expekt offer +7,5 on Cibona and I have to take it because Cibona is in very good form and Ulker is in must win situation and I dont like it.
Btw,I think that Cibona dont lose with big margin because they win in Zagreb 94-83 and thats important for H2H who can give them better table position.

Ulker-Cibona +7,5 AWAY 1,85@Expekt

Tottenham Hotspur - Manchester City, AH(0:+1/2) Away@1.80(G'bookers)
WON (3:4) really amazing second half
First match: 1-1
Tottenham Hotspur

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR needed an equaliser from Gary Doherty to force a replay against Manchester City and keep alive. The Republic of Ireland defender cancelled out the early opener from Nicolas Anelka.

Gustavo Poyet returns to the Tottenham squad for the FA Cup fourth-round replay at home to Manchester City after completing a three-match ban. Darren Anderton is again ruled out by an Achilles injury but Mauricio Taricco is expected to have recovered from a bruised foot.New signing Jermain Defoe is not cup-tied but misses out as he was not signed in time to play in this round.

Available players: Keller, Carr, Gardner, King, Ricketts, Keane, Postiga, Dalmat, Poyet, Brown, Jackson, Davies, Bunjevcevic, Doherty, Zamora, Kelly, Ziege, Yeates, Burch

Manchester City

Icelandic keeper Arni Arason is set to make his Manchester City debut with David James cup-tied, but new defender Daniel van Buyten is ineligible.

Robbie Fowler is back in contention after recovering from a flu virus and could start alongside Nicolas Anelka. After a slow start, the pair are finally starting to find the net on a regular basis and Anelka's goal at Arsenal on Sunday means that at least one of them has scored in City's last nine games.

The Blues may only have gained a single victory in last nine games
but Keegan knows that if his defence can tighten up, a sustained charge up the table is a realistic possibility.

Available players: Arason, Ellegaard, Distin, Dunne, Wiekens, Jihai, Bosvelt, McManaman, Sinclair, Reyna, Wright-Phillips, Tarnat, Sibierski, Barton, Anelka, Fowler, Macken

My verdict: another draw

Bad start for the comp again...

Montpellier - Marseille Away win @ 2,45 (Expekt)

Important match for the visitors as they cannot lose again. Their last away win is from November against Lille when the scoreline was 2-0. Last 3 away games are 0-1-2(against Auxerre, Metz and Sochaux). The new coach really hasn't had the best possible start but if he's going to keep the job it's about time to start making some results. Marseille have lost couple of important players during the transfer window but they have brought in some good ones also.
Montpellier should be pretty much fully fit for the match but they are not any good compared to Marseille's class. Of course Marseille is a big underachiever at the moment but I trust that their form is getting better. This is a great chance to start doing that...

Ok my first try in this competition, let's hope I can avoid embarrassment.

English FA Trophy Kings Lynn v Exeter City Away win 1.72 Bet 365

This competition is the non-league version of the FA Cup in England. It gives the smaller part time teams a chance to play against the bigger teams of the Nationwide Conference.

Kings Lynn are currently 2nd in the Dr Martens Eastern League, two divisions below their opponents tonight.

Exeter are doing well in the Conference (currently 6th) and have a chance to gain promotion back to the Football League.

The reason for the pick is purely on terms of quality. Exeter were only relegated from the 3rd division last year and are regularly playing a better class of team than Kings Lynn. They have a full squad of players to choose from including the return of leading scorer, Sean Devine. Their motivation is strong, money troubles mean that they are keen for a long run in this competition and there is no danger of them underestimating their opponents.

King Lynn are a small town team who do not have the finance or ability to compete with the likes of Exeter on a day to day basis. A good example of this is the fact that the postponement of the original fixture on Saturday, gave Kings Lynn a chance to train for the first time in 10 days!.

While they were doing this Exeter were winning their second away game in a row against Dagenham 2-0.

Of course this is another cup competition and the underdogs will be up for the game in front of a large home crowd. Shocks do happen but Exeter should win this one.

Won 3-0

Tau has now all their "weapons" healthy and travels to Poland only to win the match against Slask.
Nocioni,Macijauskas and Scola porved that when all of them are healthy they can lead their team to the victory even against any team in Europe...who can forget the fantastic basketball Tau was playing at the beggining of the season?
Slask owes a lot to their American playmaker Lee Greer...tonight though he is expected to face problems having as a personal opponent one of the best defensive guards in ACB Prigioni and Calderon that won't be tired chasing him full court!!!
Slask is really weak under the basket since their centers mostly prefer to shoot from 4-5 meters...Betts,David,Scola and Nocioni can make easy baskets from a close distance and if Slask will focus to stop them Macijauskas will be waiting to score some open shots from the three point line(and I don't think any team can risk letting him shoot cause he doesn't miss that easily)

2nd pick of the day Slask(+4,5) vs Tau Away win @ 2.0 @ Centrebet

Borrusia disappointed me yesterday and I wish they hadn't qualified...

Well my second pick will be from snooker, and I think it's a value bet.

Ebdon P. v Hann Q. 2 2.5@Gamebookers. LOST
Tonight there be a match between experienced world ranking no. 7, Paul Ebdon and 25 years old Quinten Hann (no.14).

Let's look at some results from the past:

British Open
Quinten Hann Andy Hicks 5-3
Quinten Hann Ronnie O'Sullivan 1-5

Peter Ebdon Ricky Walden 5-2
Peter Ebdon Matthew Stevens 3-5

Lg Cup
Peter Ebdon Barry Hawkins 4-5

Uk Open
Quinten Hann Chris Small 9-8
Quinten Hann Peter Ebdon 9-6
Ronnie O'Sullivan Quinten Hann 9-3

Peter Ebdon Stuart Bingham 9-2
Peter Ebdon Quinten Hann 6-9

Welsh Open 2004
Peter Ebdon Chris Small 5-4
Peter Ebdon Alan McManus 4-5

Anthony Hamilton Quinten Hann 5-2

As you see, Hann beat Ebdon last year and he can beat it again. Ebdon has a good starting year in Welsh Open since Quinten Hann seems to repeat his two year bad starting season. But that was in Welsh, right now odd for Hann is VALUE.

Pick 3/10

NHL Wednesday 02/04 - 6 Games

pick: Over 29 goals @1.83@ Bet 365 won (36 goals)

New York Rangers - Minnesota Wild
Philadelphia Flyers - Washington Capitals
Dallas Stars - Columbus Blue Jackets
Phoenix Coyotes - Florida Panthers
Edmonton Oilers - St. Louis Blues
Mighty Ducks of Anaheim - Carolina Hurricanes

Maths was my favorite discipline when I was schoolboy, so I want to explain why has Bet 365 chosen exactly this quantity of goals.

Subjective reasons to pick this one:

average scored goals:

home sides

New York Rangers - 2.7
Philadelphia Flyers - 2.9
Dallas Stars - 2.6
Phoenix Coyotes - 2.6
Edmonton Oilers - 2.8
Mighty Ducks of Anaheim - 2.6

away sides

Minnesota Wild - 2
Washington Capitals - 2.2
Columbus Blue Jackets - 1.8
Florida Panthers - 2
St. Louis Blues - 2
Carolina Hurricanes - 1.9

Total: 28.1 goals

average allowed goals:

home sides

New York Rangers - 2.5
Philadelphia Flyers - 2
Dallas Stars - 2.1
Phoenix Coyotes - 3.1
Edmonton Oilers - 2.5
Mighty Ducks of Anaheim - 2.7

away sides

Minnesota Wild - 2.2
Washington Capitals - 3.2
Columbus Blue Jackets - 3.5
Florida Panthers - 2.9
St. Louis Blues - 2.6
Carolina Hurricanes - 2.9

Total: 32.2 goals

Average scored/allowed:

(28.1 + 32.2) /2 = 30.15 goals

***1054;bjective reasons:

Philadelphia Flyers - Washington Capitals
One of the best home attacks will host one of the weakest away defences.

Dallas Stars - Columbus Blue Jackets
A decent home attack vs the worst away defence ( don't mention Penguins and Blackhawks).

Phoenix Coyotes - Florida Panthers
Two teams with terrible defences and not so bad attacking players.

If in place of New York Rangers - Minnesota Wild were playing for example Ottawa Senators vs. Detroit Red Wings I wouldn't hesitate to put a "nice" stake, but...

Good luck.

Phoenix Suns - Portland Trail Blazers OVER 191
odds 1,99 Pinnacle Sports

Phoenix has been OVER the total in their last 3 matches and 4-1-1 OVER in their last 6. For more the Suns have gone OVER in 13 of their 23 home dates.
Portland has been OVER the total in their last 2 matches. The last meeting between these two teams played UNDER the total, but the prior 3 meetings all went OVER the total.

I will take Inter Milan +1/4 (1.975 @ Pointbet) on the Bet WON HALF FT 2:2
Juventus vs Inter Milan game tonight for Coppa Italia.

Juventus has put out a bunch of second stringer for tonight's game while Inter Milan has sent out their starters. Juventus are concentrating on being the league champion and winning the Champions League thus putting the coppa on the bottom of their priorities. Now that being said Juve are no push overs at their home. Even so, I believe at worst Inter can pull a draw here at the Delle Alpi. Inter thrashed Siena this past weekend after a string of poor results and I think they will try to keep that momentum going again on this cup match. Juve will be concentrating on the Roma match this weekend and dropping out of this competition wont do them any harm at all.

Go for Inter at +1/4

04-02-04, 13:29
Toronto Raptors - Orlando Magic +5 2 Pinnacle @1.95

110-90, LOST. McGrady unexpectedly decided to rest his back, sorry guys :?

I rate the chances of the outright Orlando win at 50%, as the two out of form teams with different styles of play go at each other. Whichever team loses its identity tonight is going to lose. Toronto regained its ultra-defensive style lately, while the Magic tend to play in a disorganized all-run-Tmac-gun  formation. However, this handicap covers the possibility of a small Raptors win, should the game turn in their direction.

However, since their best (and only) defensive guard, Alvin Williams, probably won't play, I expect the rhytm of a game to turn Magic way, since Jalen Rose will slide to the point guard slot. Carter has been in form the last couple of games, but the same goes for McGrady. Chris Bosh might be out of the lineup as well for the Raptors, further enhancing the chances of a highscoring game, since the Raps will go with a small lineup in that case.

 I would have taken outright away win for the odds of 2.9, but new rules Rulz :)

Soccer - Ita. Italian Cup

Inter (+0.25) has already been taken, please take another pick!

Juventus -vs- Inter - X2 (double chance) - 1.75 @ Expekt

1) To victory Inter it is strongly overestimated odds. Bookmakers till now are under impression of bad results of a command in the championship in last rounds.

2) Recession at a command is finished. The brightest to a volume acknowledgement - latest victory over Siena. Adriano's arrival has considerably strengthened an attack.

3) Not looking that Inter is on the fourth position in the championship, they have almost lost all chances in struggle for the first place. The cup remains practically unique purpose for Inter. They will beat for it with the much greater feedback, than a Juventus.

4) Serie A - 29.11.03 - Juventus lose Inter Milan - 1:3 - no comments. =)))

5) And the most important. Literally in four days it is necessary to a Juventus very complex and incredibly responsible match against Roma. I shall remind, that these commands have equal quantity of glasses in the championship, and this duel solves very much much.

The conclusion - If Inter also will not win to lose too should not.

My pick for today is from French League Cup

St.Etienne-Sochaux 2 @ 2.25 Gamebookers.

2nd Division St.Etienne face 1st division side Sochaux.
St.Etienne are placed 3rd with a good chance of promotion this season. They played pretty good at home this season with a record of 11g 7w 2d 2d 15-9.
Sochaux,4th in the 1st division, have a good chance to go further in the cup and have an evan better season.Away they have a record of 11g 5w 2d 4d 15-15.There is no doubt that they are better than St.Etienne but I don't know if they have the motivation. They come after 2 good wins against Marseille 2:1 at home and Montpellier 3:1 away. They have the quality to beat St.Etienne and I hope that they won't dissapoint me.

MONTPELLIER - MARSEILLE 2 EXPECT 2,45

No other way for Marseille to win at Montpellier. It's a derby and all the games played by the past have ofte given a lot of goals.

Hi,

My pick for tonight:

Wizards - Grizzles (-2,5) 2 1,935 Pinnacle

We have confrontation between the worstest NBA (14-32) team and quite decent squad (26-21). Last time in Memphis Grizzles won easily 92-77.

Of course Stackhouse is back in Wizards, but after long break it is not easy to get high play level (5 of 14 shots in last game). Also, almost always back of leader is little strange for a team. They used to play without him and now have to change their style. It was shown in preavious game against weak Cavs.

What we have in quite solid Grizzles? Talented Gasol, Williams, Bonzi. I am worry shooter Miller who is listed as doubtful. Recently they have 8 winning streak, then 3 games losing streak (Portland, Jazz, Detroit) - and finally they beat Warriors, I hope that is begin of new winning streak.

Greetings Wizards - Grizzles 101 - 103 PICK LOST

Tottenham vs Man City

Over 2.5 goals @ 2.0 with Ladbrokes

PICK WON 3-4!

Last two games between these sides have fallen under so is it logical that this will as well or that the third game will buck the trend? Well I think this has the makings of a traditional cup-tie where both teams are going all out for glory and City have even more incentive of a derby game in the next round. Anelka is socring freely, Keane is always a solid threat and I feel there will be some end to end football in this game with many chances and many goals.

Icehockey, NHL

Dallas-Columbus 1 ----> 1.60 @expekt bet won, 1-0

Odds around 1.60 is hardly ever worth the risk in NHL, but in my opinion this one is. Huge diffrence in class here, especially when Columbus play away from home. They have only three away wins all season, while a red hot Dallas with 7-1-1 in the last nine games, have only six losses in 26 games.
Further more Columbus best player(?) and by far best goal scorer Rico Nash (31 goals so far this season) is out of contention. Unless Dallas is going to underestimate Columbus enormously, I really can't see anything else than a clear home win in this game.

Hi guys! Well it seems I'm too late cause Palini already took my bet of the night! Well last night was an average night, some won some lost, but my main bet Toronto really disappointed me! Loosing 4:1 to Chicago! 8O But anyway I'll stick to NHL cause I'm just totally into it at the moment! And I'll also stick to Dallas, but I'll take:

Dallas - Minnesota Dallas to score over 3 goals in a game 1,9 NordicBet

Well as I said IMO Dallas is a huge favourite tonight against Colombus. The Bluse Jackets are the worst away team in the league. Their record in away matches is really bad 3-15-4-2. On the other hand Dallas is really on fire at the moment winning four in a row, and 7-1-1 in last nine. Dallas is 12-2-0 all-time against the Blue Jackets, including 6-0 at home. Last two games were at Colombus and they ended 3-2 and 4-3 for Dallas. Well I think Dallas win is certain but can they score 4 goals (3 is a push)? Well I was also thinking about OVER 4,5 but if that would be the case and if Dallas wins than the score should be at least 3-2 ( I would loose nothing), but I think it's not going to be that close. So Dallas should win 4-1, 4-2, cause Colombus's defence isn't really that strong! Well at least I hope so! Though Dallas scores an average of only 2,16 goals per game I think that a team in form and the Stars certainly are can score at least 3 times on their home ice!

Well to try something different, hope it pays off!

Good luck to all of you!

LOST AGAIN 1:0! Only one goal scored, can't belive it!

Pick No 1 again, for the third time, this time it is going to be OK!
Noone took it yet and the comp wont be erased again!
So, pick N1:
*N.Jersey Nets v Miami Heat (+8,5) 2 (away) 2.00 CENTREBET
This is going to be a clash of two in-form teams, i believe, Kidd, Martin, Kittles, Odom and E.Jones are going to show spectators the real beauty of Basketball! N.Jersey are on 5 games winning streak, which occured, when they got a new coach, Frank! But, before that, they played at Miami, and, would you believe, they lost to Miami Heat by 21 point difference!
On the other side, we have Heat on 10 games run, when they did not lost by more than 8 points! They played against good and better teams and made -2, +24, +9, -1, +14, +8, +21, -2, -8 and +2!! So they are always tight in the match!

Only Wade is ranked day-to-day, he may miss the game for Miami, but he was missing a lot recently, still Miami played well!!

Good luck!

88-99 BET LOST!

Memphis 1st half moneyline (2.06) at Pinnacle

Breaking News:
Louisville will be without starters Francisco Garcia and Taquan Dean when they play Memphis tonight.Garcia hurt his ankle January 25 against Tennessee and made the big mistake of trying to play last saturday against Marquette. Now Louisville does not know how long he will be out and he will be missed because he is the teams leading scorer at 15.5ppg. Dean will miss the game with a groin injury and Louisville will also be without reserve center Nouha Diakita who is out with a right ankle injury.

Dokic J. v Husarova J. 1 - 1.45 (Centrebet)

Dokic showed some ok form towards the end of last season and got through her first match of the year with a tough win over Black but did close out the game well in the 3rd (6-1). Husarova has already played 4 matches this week as a qualifier, Dokic should be much fresher and generally likes the indoor/carpet courts, I think she will be looking to put last year behind her and a solid showing here would be an ideal start.

Winner in a close one 7-6 6-7 6-1

Good evening,fellow!
I read bettingadvie forum almost one and a half years.I think there are very good tipster in several sports.I earned some money thanks graeat predictinon here.I 'd like to start thts february's competition.I need lady luck will be with me to fight with a heavyweight tipsters on that site :) .
So i begin my campaign with NBA pick this night.

HOUSTON Rockets-MILWAUKEE Bucks 1.40 @ pinnacle sports
Rockets struggling lately, they are on a 4 game losing streak.Steve Francis back in team after one game suspension.Rockets hope having Francis in the lineup will help them avoid 5-game losing streak in two years. In last match Francis' replacement Jackson scored 2 pts and Houston shoot only 35% FG including 6/23 from 3 point range.Rockets also looking to avoid first 3-gm losing streak at home since Dec 2001.
Bucks- last game were 36% FG and scored only 2/12 for threes losing to Atlanta 83-93.Both teams have a record 26-21 and split season serises lats year(both home wins).Return of Steve Francis make difference today i thnk.
GOD LUCK.
