RBC Roosendaal - AGOVV Apeldoorn

The first place Roosendaal will face AGOVV at home and this looks like a clear home win, as the visitors are on the 12th place with and away run of 1-1-7 and a goal line of 9-21. The home side is the strongest team in Dutch second division and also the best team on the home ground: 8-1-0, with a goal line of 25-6. They have a good morale after the 4-2 away win against Telstar in the last round and I expect another good display today against a pretty poor AGOVV. There is a clear class difference between these two teams so I will go for:

Over 2.5, 1.40 at Bwin
RBC Roosendaal (-0.75), 1.794 at 10Bet.com

some info about Volendam-Venlo, please? Venlo looking in better form and i think that they can beat Volendam at their home. Last 6 series is
3-3-1-0-1-0 for Volendam and 3-3-0-3-3-3 for Venlo. But i need little bit more info from holland friends.
for AW my bookie odds 3,05

Don't forget Volendam haven't lost at home yet this season. They play on an atificial grass pitch, which gives them a pretty nice advantage in home matches. VVV trained on an artificial pitch in a neighbouring german town to be somewhat prepared, although their coach admitted you can't get used to such a pitch in 1 training.

RBC 1H
Fortuna HW and Draft
and more

Emmen HW

RBC Roosendaal seems like the Promotion Candidates this Season. Their home form is amazing and today they host Apeldoorn, a team not performing well in away matches.

RBC have managed to draw difficult away games and win most of their home fixtures. Lately they have started winning in away too.

Recently RBC have drawn at Veendam(a tough home side) and have beaten Dordrecht as well as clinched an away win at Stormvogels.

Even the reverse fixture with Apeldoorn ended 0-3 in favour of RBC.

I think this is a very good bet and can be taken with confidence.

Go for Home Win.

GL.

What about De Graafschap? Are they trying to push for direct promotion or what? They seem like a good bet considering their form and home stats, unlike Dordrecht. My main concern is are they a bit relaxed since they won one period...

Would someone explain what this "period win" stuff means? The battle for playoff is over my head.

Only the champion promotes directly...

then you have 6 period winners ( a period is 6 matches in a row)
+ 2 best ranked teams without a period title
+ number 16 and 17 from Eredivisie

What exactly do you mean when saying a period is 6 matches in a row? It doesn't make sense.
What 6 matches have RBC, De Graafschap and Den Bosch achieved that have secured them a playoff berth?

For each 6 rounds there is mini-table and winner gets play off spot

Den Bosch is best team in rounds 1 to 6 => winner of 1st period
RBC is best team in rounds 7 to 12 => winner of 2nd period
De Graafschap is best team in rounds 13 to 18 => winner of 3rd period

You can find tables by periods on
http://www.eerstedivisie.info/

On left side bellow <Speelschema> (results & fixtures) there are buttons for all periods tables
