AZ have new GK Ronald Waterreus, in the past he played in PSV Eindhoven and Glasgow Rangers. He's 36 years old and will be play till end of season in first 11 AZ team.
My pick: Den Haag to beat Feyenoord for stake 6/10
Maybe best bet of the week for me! 13 on Den Haag is must bet! Let***8217;s see why.
Reason 1: Den Haag is number one club in Holland for surprises! If you look last couple of years, they always got positive results when playing with big ones. Even this year, they outplayed Groningen 5:2. Groningen is maybe the strongest side when playing at home, but lost with three goals margine against Den Haag.
Reason two: Very bad year for Feyenoord. Not a shadow from the one from last year. Trashed 4:1 by NEC, 4:0 at home by Ajax, draw with Waalwijk***8230;that is not the way to become Dutch champion. Now they are eleven points below PSV. They play bad in Uefa also, it***8217;s just not their year.
Reason three: H2H. In last five games Feyenoord managed to win only once, Den Haag three times. Last year results were 2:0 and 2:1 for Den Haag! Feyenoord always has troubles against them!
Reason 4: Den Haag sits in last place with just 8 points. This is not their position. They are better then Excelsior, Sparta, NAC***8230;
Last chance to take some points.
To sum up, 1,20 on HW is foolish. I will back visitors with medium stakes.
My pick: Groningen to beat PSV for stake 3/10 with possible cover with draw
Groningen is well known as home team. On their ground they can beat any team. I don***8217;t know what happened last week when they lost against Den Haag, but their fans will surely look for revenge. And is there any better way to do it then beat the champions? I doubt.
PSV made 9 wins in a row in championship and they will stop now. It***8217;s just too much. Besides, problems came already. Dissapointing loss 3:1 against Bordeaux in CL shows that something is happening. But whatever it is, they won***8217;t have good time in hot Groningen***8217;s stadium. Some bookies have 4,20 on HW and that is too low, but Centrebet offers 7,50 and that odds can***8217;t be missed!

Actually that lost is more result of resting players and no need for points then sign of some bad form.Do you agree on that?
My pick: Den Haag to beat Feyenoord for stake 6/10
My pick: Groningen to beat PSV for stake 3/10 with possible cover with draw
I think you are overestimating Groningen. Groningen's defence is extremely crappy lately, they have big problems there with some injuries and out of form players. They not just lost with 2-5 at home to ADO, but also lost lately with 7-1 to Twente and with 3-0 to Utrecht away. Ok, at home they are more dangerous, but a PSV win seems very likely to me here, which wants to strike back after midweeks disaster against Bordeaux (caused by many changes in the team, but against Groningen best team will play) and is just playing well in the Eredivisie lately. Probably no value in PSV now with odds around 1.50, but I doubt there's really value in Groningen either.
re: Groningen - PSV, i think you both have some kind of point here. do not be fooled by the 1-3 loss against Bordeaux, PSV rested some key players although their line-up was still strong enough NOT to loose from Bordeaux, still history learns that unnecessary losses like these DO affect the form of a team. Keep in mind that PSV had a lot of trouble with Vitesse last week and only won 1-0.
Groningen does indeed have a bad run - altough last weeks loss was more due to the condition of the field that to Utrechts strong performance, they just anticipated better..
all in all, i would not trust to heavily on PSV, too risky with odds like 1,50..
and i agree that there is no real value in Groningen either.
both to score is a good option here and maybe even the over
Friday December 8
Heerenveen – Roda JC
Heerenveen deserved more last weekend against Feijenoord but lost 4-3, whilst Roda drew away against NAC 0-0. Both teams are unstable and unpredictable, both these teams are a class better when playing at home, than on the road…As mentioned Heerenveen did play a pretty good match against Feijenoord, and their striker Alves is on fire…With Heerenveen playing at home they have the best chances to win this match, I do also see both teams score and more than 2.5 goals.
Why isn't anybody on Vitesse - RKC yet?
I can't see Vitesse dropping any points here. As you probably know it's easy to score against RKC and you all know how bad they perform.
Vitesse is playing well the last few games, also against PSV, but not only against PSV. Even Gullit said it last sunday, he said something like: "they've just been a bit unlucky the last few games, but they are playing good football."
So what i'll advise you to do:
7/10 on Vitesse @1.70 (right now 1.70?)
Whatever 7/10 means :).. think it's something like 70% but of what? of all your money? because i always play with 10 - 15% of my alltime winnings..

After watching this: http://www.metacafe.com/watch/109309/klaas_jan_huntelaar/
I am hoping that Ajax do not sell Huntelaar, he is a seriously awsome talented player and Chelsea the fags better not decide to snag him with an outrageous bid.
AZ have new GK Ronald Waterreus, in the past he played in PSV Eindhoven and Glasgow Rangers. He's 36 years old and will be play till end of season in first 11 AZ team.
He signed till the summer because of Fifa-rules, but he wants to leave the club in january to move to the USA. By that time Didulica and Sinouh should be back.
Pick: Feyenoord
Stake: 10/10 Odds: 1.25
Bookmaker: Betfair
Feyenoord is relieved after the Uefa didn't disqualified them for European soccer, which was what they were expecting. After everything that happened last weeks this should be the match where they can show the audience what they're worth. Altho i hardly ever fancy Feyenoord i will do it this time with max. stakes. If they ruin this match, i promise never to back them again this season!
Willem 2 - Twente
Tomorrow, 14:30
Soccer - Netherlands
Pick: Twente Result: Pending
Stake: 9/10 Odds: 2.10
Bookmaker: Betfair vCash: No
Altho Twente is having a great record @ home, away matches are a different thing. The only match they won so far was against mediocre Ado Den Haag. Sunday's opponent Willem2 lost big last weekend @ Ajax, and i think this will be THE match for Twente to win their second away match. They are in-form, and their record at willem2 is a positive one:
2006: 1-1
2005: 0-3
2004: 2-3
2003: 1-2
Overall Twente is much better and a price of 2.1 is too good to be true, and only based on their away stats. On sunday things will change for Twente!
My pick: Den Haag to beat Feyenoord for stake 6/10

Can you tell me ,how much money did you put on your bets this weekend?
just a few quick thoughts..
NAC BREDA - EXCELSIOR
A clear home-win? I am not so sure, still NAC is favourite in this match, over 2,5.
GRONINGEN - PSV
I think a surprise will happen here even if on forehand nobody thinks it is possible. A draw and over 2,5
NEC - Utrecht
Tough match for both teams, a draw. Under 2,5
HERACLES - SPARTA
Must win match for both teams, draw most likely result..
AJAX - AZ
Ajax without Sneijder and Perez...will be a difficult match for them, - either a draw or an AZ win.
Feijenoord - ADO Den Haag
Home win, over 2,5. I don't see Den Haag getting anything here.
Vitesse - RKC Waalwijk
will RKC continue last weeks win? dont think so, based on their performance against PSV, Vitesse will get the 3 points here.
Willem II - FC Twente
Willem II was trashed by Ajax, now they have to face another strong team, will be a high scoring match, and why not a draw in the end?
FC Groningen – PSV
FC Groningen conceded 16 goals in the last five matches, 1-0-4. Groningen have low confidence for this match. They are missing Van der Linden, Paul Matthijs, Arnold Kruiswijk, Mark-Jan Fledderus and Koen van de Laan. PSV will most certainly be able to score and so will have a big chance to win. PSV knows the competition for the title (Ajax-AZ) will lose points, so this is a perfect opportunity to increase their lead.
I was very disappointed the way PSV played this week against Bordeaux. This time they won’t field Addo and Tardelli, who both played hideous. They don’t add to the PSV squad. Also Alex will be committing the necessary fouls, which he was reluctant to do on Tuesday, to prevent a booking.
All in all I see PSV winning this, because they are eager to wash away the bad feeling form last match. Groningen will most certainly try, but in the end in won’t be enough. PSV will be focused from the start!
PSV to win 8/10 @ 1,60 Nordicbet

anybody looking PSV now?
no goals yet?
Can't agree with Feye pick at all. Such a poor team for 1.25 :o ??? Their defence is a joke and in attack they didn't replace Kuyt and Kalou. I saw their win against Heerenveen last Sunday -- they were extremely lucky. Heerenveen scored 3 goaks but easily could have scored double figures. I know that Den Haag is even more poor they are one of the outsiders. But still sometimes they make surprizes. They drew at AZ, a team that is a lot better than Feye. And they won 5:2 at Groningen, a team at the same level as Feye.
And guys, Feye are missing Romeo Castelen (ankle), Alfred Schreuder (Achilles), Pieter Collen (shoulder), Patrick Lodewijks (knee), Karim Saidi (knee) and Dwight Tiendalli (groin) for the encounter. I layed Feye at 1.25 :D . Good luck.

Ajax have never lost or drawn at home with AZ. Even with Snyeder, Perez out, i'm sure they'll still win. Last match ended 1-0 Ajax.
Feyenoord vs Den Haag
Some people have called Feyenoord lucky and even their own fans had some doubts over them. It wasn't a great season so far but they managed to collect 9 wins so far in the league and 29 points, 5th place after 15 games. Feyenoord also have a good chance to go further in the UEFA Cup if they beat Wisla next week.

Hello everyone,
Guys from Holland, what about AZ goalkeeper...who's gonna play today?
As far as I can see this is their last weeks weak point.
AZ is the best away team, as far as I remember, they lost the game to Feye due to their goalkeeper...can this change today?..I'm thinking of backing them with low stakes, Ajax is not the team to be trusted, failed to win both PSV and Twente at home...any thoughts?

LOL
I dreamed last night that Ajax would beat AZ with a high diference, the score was about 3-1 if I recall.
I will go with Ajax on this one for a HW, but I don't think they will beat them with 3-1
hmm... all tho good odds for 3-1 (21.00)

110% agree here Anty. Can't belive that everybody talking about how sh1te Feye is this year and still they are backing them at ~1.2 (they're even @ 1.16). Lol, Ado is the team wich can upset Feyenoord (to be honest it's their habbit lately). That's for sure. Value is obviously on Ado.
Ajax have never lost or drawn at home with AZ. Even with Snyeder, Perez out, i'm sure they'll still win. Last match ended 1-0 Ajax.
Ajax whitout Snyder is like Barca without Ronaldino!I can't beck up Ajax.More like is X2 medium stake 5/10.

the AZ goalkeeper is Ronald Waterreus
former goaly of psv and glasgow rangers, he is a good goaly, now 36 years old and signed a contract till end of season(uefa laws) because the first(sinuh) and 2nd keeper of az are both injured...they expect to be fit/recovered again at January 31st, than waterreus will leave to the USA
ajax is a team which was very frustrated, they had a good run and everything was fine till of a sudden evrything broke down.....
they lost against sneaky psv 0-1 at home (can happen!) than a 1-1 at home against twente
and than they reached bottom with a devastating 3-0 loss away at sparta rotterdam who is in relagation zone.
in this game one of the important players of ajax wesley sneijder was sent off for abusive language against the referee...he is now serving a suspension so he will not be playing today......also kenneth perez is serving a ban, he got 5 matches because he made racistical remarks towards a linesman.
after the match against sparta they lost very well deserved against espanyol at home 0-2......
willem2 last week came at a right moment, they trashed them easily at home and de mul played a great game and the hunter also showed some class again
az is no willem 2 though and although van gaal the trainer/coach of az has a high attitude he remains a good coach.
conclusion: this will be a draw.....although i hope ajax will win
willem 2 - twente........draw
twente on a good run and willem2 just had a trashing by ajax last week, but willem 2 at home is another story, they are highly motivated after the trashing by ajax last week and they know twente has a good team.
i even see here a slight advantage for willem 2 to win this but i stick to my prediction of a draw
predicted score : 1-1
Feyenoord- den haag......over
i think we will see a lot of goals this afternoon in "the kuip"
feyenoord incosistently this season but not that bad as evryone is saying..they are on a good 4th place .....this wednesday they have an important game though against krakau for the uefa cup ( a must win to prolong) den haag after the surprise in groningen (2-5 win) they slumped again (0-2 at home against nec) i think feyenoord wil at least score 2 goals and den haag with mols 1 so it will be an over.......normally i would say feyenoord win as well but quotes are tooo low and an over 2,5 goals is a far more sure bet than a feyenoord win this season
good luck all
;)
Vossietheref, will you tell us where you see the advantage for Willem II, besides the home factor?
I hardly see their defense stoping N'kufo and Bakircioglu ;)
Their only hope will be the attack, where Redan, Bobson, Hadouir and El Hamdaoui are not bad, but Twente defense is not bad at all.
anobody watching feyenord?
