Ascoli - Catania
I think this will be a pretty easy victory for Catania, Delvecchio is still absent and Ascoli havent won a single match yet in Serie A.
Catania played good last week against Parma and after Grella recived a red card Catania dominated the match completly and they could have won with 3 or 4-0 with a bit of luck
I really like Catania and there offensive way of playing have proven to work well in serie A so far.
Catania will win this.

i really think the opposite first of all ascoli is improving since two weeks ago ascoli has a new coach(sonetti very expert about serie a ) ascoli has been unlucky in the match against lazio and did not deserve the loss, the second point is that ascoli supporters are very angry with their team and ascoli can not afford to loose another match at home, the third point is that catania will miss 3 important players such as corona f (5 goals ) mascara f (3 goals) and also an important defender like vargas, value is on ascoli in this match imho so i took ascoli dnb 1 with 7/10

In the previous match against Parma Mascara didnt play then either, and Catania still did a very good game, but Corona played in that match in Mascaras place. But in that match, they did have the advantage of playing at home but that evens out a bit because Parma is a slighter better team then Ascoli at the moment. Coronas and Mascaras absent is very bad for catania, but you have to have in your mind that they still have good attackers such as Spinesi and colucci.

Fiorentina - Lazio
I think this match will end with a draw. Fiorentina is in a pretty bad shape with two 1-1 results in the two latest fixures against relative bad opposition. Toni havent achieve the same skill level as he had last season but they still have a good team and Mutu have done a very good season so far.
Lazio on the other hand is in an exellent shape and have 12-2 in their last three games. Mauri is suspended which is a very big dissadvantage for Lazio because he have been very important in the last games.
But the fact that will save La viola from loosing this match is that they play at home wich is a huge advantage in this case

Roma hasn't problem. Are all disponible.
Inter has indisponible (injiures problem) Adriano, Cruz and Dacourt (don't play). But come back Recoba, Ibrahimovich. All players are in strong form. Possible team:
Cesar
Maicon
Grosso
Materazzi
Cordoba
Zanetti
Stankovic
Vieira
Cambiasso
Ibrahimovich
Crespo
To dispose:
Toldo
Maxwell
Samuel
Figo
Recoba
Don't worry, Inter win without problems. Roma is more difficulties.

Intermilan after beating Palermo, seems like the title grabers this season. They had a good run in Italian Serie A, Champions League and even in the Italian Cup. Siena is having a real bad season and they have only beaten Ascoli in their last 6 matches. I don't think they will bounce back today and gain something from this fixture. Patrick Viera and Ibrahimovic are the key players who can make the difference in the midfield. I think Intermilan will continue their winning streak.

Siena having bad season? 4-6-3 record is bad for a team like Siena? Humm.. Plus just one loss in away games with 3-2-1 record can't be considered as bad but totall opposite! What ru talking about?
Maybe they are in bad form recently but they are not having bad season definetely...
And you discovered America with your statement about Inter continueing their winning streak. So what r u suggesting, a bet just on HW with low odds or Inter -1.5?
Kaka also got injured and he didn't travel with the team in Cagliari.
So , now, Milan will miss: Dida, Kaka, Nesta, Gattuso, Caffu, Serginho, Ambrosini, Favalli and Costacurta.
Kaladze and Bonera will travel to Cagliari, but both of them aren't at 100% yet, and one of them will probable start from the bench.
Milan's probable line-up :
Kalac- Bonera, Simic, Maldini, Jankulovski - Brocchi,Pirlo,Gourcuff, Seedorf - Oliveira, Gilardino (Inzaghi)
It's stil solid on paper, but Kaka was their main player and it's still questionable how will they do without him.
Seedorf is back after 10 day rest and Gourcuff has shown he's extra talented in last 2 matches.
The problem (abd a big one) is that Seedorf and Pirlo are in bad form and don't seem physically prepared to go 90 minutes. But now they'll have to because the only midfielder Milan has on the bench is the young primavera player Lunati.
In defense, aside from Kaladze all the other substitutes are also from the primavera team.
Cagliari will miss Biondini, and probably goalkeeper Chimenti ( is this really a blow for them ? :) )
So far in 13 matches, Milan has 12:12 goal difference (1.84 goals per game, and it would have been even worse if we exclude the 4:3 match against Inter)
Cagliari has 7 draws on last 10 matches and 8 draws overall. They have 11:12 goal difference (1.77 goals per match ).
Cagliari is really solid, especially in Sardinia, and with Milan's squad problems i think they can hurt them, even beat them.
Both teams have attacking problems ( in Cagliari attackers have scored only 5 goals on 13 matches, and Milan's attackers are even worse with 3 goals on 13 matches) and it makes the Under 2.5 even more attractive.
My bets :
Cagliari (DNB) @3.60 in Sportingbet , stake :5
Cagliari-Milan , pick :1x , @1.98 Nordicbet , stake : 7

My picks....
Messina - Sampdoria -> Both team to score @1,85 (Expekt) stake: 7
It could be a draw. Messina at home is strong, and surely will be the match. Sampdoria could score in counterattack, and so, best choice is the bet on the goal scored. I expect at least one goal per team...

Torino - Empoli -> 1X Double chance @1,26 (Expekt) stake 7
Torino won at Bergamo against Atalanta last week. They have improved their skills, and they showed a good fisio condition. At Comunale stadium today there are a lot of stars (is Toro's birtday...100 years old) and they surely will give a good impression. On the other side, Empoli won against Cagliari...but they can lose this match. For me, in this condition, Torino will take at least one point...
So , now, Milan will miss: Dida, Kaka, Nesta, Gattuso, Caffu, Serginho, Ambrosini, Favalli and Costacurta.

I thought the same when I saw the list of absentees before, but as someone said before..."Milan is just Milan". And when I saw odds up to 2.00...against Cagliari? You're kiding me? Okay, I realise Cagliari is very good at home, playing a lot of draws, but Milan is still stronger in my eyes despite being in poor form and with some important absences. They surely have been working on their shooting play in their trainings, because scoring just miserable 2 goals in 5 matches (4 league and 1 CL) is alarming signal to Ancelotti that something has got to be change immediately. 15th place right now is not what they were hoping they achieve after 13 rounds after being penalised with 7 points in the start of the season. So, they really have to start getting more points to be sure in finishing in top 5 in the end and to insure their status playing in Champ. League or at least in UEFA Cup next season.
Milan's probable line-up :
Kalac- Bonera, Simic, Maldini, Jankulovski - Brocchi,Pirlo,Gourcuff, Seedorf - Oliveira, Gilardino (Inzaghi)
Dida, Nesta, Kaka, Gatusso...all first team regulars and I agree they will miss Milan for sure. But, they are still strong without them and if Oliveira-Gilardino duo finally show their potencials, I don't believe we'll see losing them today. Seedorf always can be useful with his great passes and including Pirlo, who also knows to do the same, including his great free kicks. Gourcuff is still quite unknown player for some people, but I believe he is also a young player with big potencial (in other case I don't believe Milan wouldn't be interested in him) joined this club this summer from Rennes. Maybe Kalac is not looking like safe option here, but he is quality and really tall goalkeeper (don't know exactly, but he's around 2 meters tall) and although he's not the class of Dida he's still good keeper and I don't think Milan is losing much here.
On the other side, Cagliari is doing nice job this season holding themselves in the middle of the table, mostly because they've lost only 3 matches so far. They've collected 17 points so far (including 8 draws) and they surely don't look like an easy opponent right now. 2-3-1 record at home is telling us that they are really good organised and conceding just 4 goals so far (0.66 per match).
Cagliari will miss Biondini, and probably goalkeeper Chimenti ( is this really a blow for them ? :) )
Well, in the matter of fact it is...They both played in almost all matches (Biondini missed only one game till now). I believe they could also have some problems with it, especially with GK place because I don't see a decent replacement for him (that will probably be Marco Fortin, ex-Siena).
After all of this I have to disagree with Minov, because Milan is still very strong, while Cagliari is aware of their opponent's problems and they surely won't just defending themselves (like they did against some stronger opponents) and also I think we could see an open match with maybe 3 goals, or even more
- Picks: Milan -0.5 (1.99 @ Pinnacle) & over 2 (1.84 @ Canbet) both for 6/10
GL ;)
Torino-Empoli X
Toro come from first away victory of the season and for the first time this season seems to be lot of enthusiasm. Will that be enough to beat a decent opponent like Empoli which so far did better than Toro? I don't think so.
Livorno-Chievo 1
Livorno is better team here and odds 1,80 seem good enough for a medium bet on home side which will be keen to overcome the unfortunate draw vs Maccabi midweek with a convincing victory.
Udinese-Reggina 1.
Inconsistent Udinese will be looking forward to this encounter, to try and fight back in front of home crowd after being the first team that allowed Chievo a victory.
Messina-Sampdoria X2
Qualification in the next round of Italian Cup will give the necessary boost Samp so much needed in order to get something vs Messina.
Why are you so sure about Torino?Because they celebrate their centenary? Is that enough?
about the game udinese-reggina ? any important missings?will udinese take a sure win?
Why are you so sure about Torino?Because they celebrate their centenary? Is that enough?
ohhhhh ... you will know... the celebration of 100 years... is more than enough... its extraordinary... its unique situation... If you dont take it now you will must to wait for another 100 years... !!! Do you want to wait so much... I can hardly find some man who will live more 100 years to wait for that unique moment... ;)

Nice post !
It's great to have different opinions in a forum, because it leads to constructive discussions and people get more info.
Thanx for that Gigx !
I, however, remain an optimist about Cagliari not loosing this one.
You're making your point with your greatest argument beeing how Pirlo , Seedorf and Gila CAN outplay the oposition and how they will win IF they FINALLY show their potential.
Noone doubts their quality and potential, but the fact remains that they've never done so since early September, and they underperformed in most of the 13 rounds so far. That makes it impossibile to claim how, after 13 bad, relatively bad or awful matches, they won't repeat their bad games and bad form today. They maybe won't, but chances are bigger for them to repeat the bad performances, especially now when Kaka is gone. If you watched Milan matches this season you could have seen how Kaka was the one holding the game in second halfs...all the others were down, tyred and unable to do anything. Now there's no Kaka, and no midfielder at the bench to replace one of Seedorf and Pirlo, who obviously can't keep their level for more than 50-60 minutes.
However, i disagree that Cagliari was playing defensive football against the better teams. They completely outplayed Inter in first 60 minutes of the match and they were the side attacking when they faced Palermo ( ok, Palermo had 10 players in the second half, so that may be the reason).
About Biondini, i never said he ain't important, because he is. I said Chimenti, the GK, can be replaced. I remember how Chimenti made a clown of himself the last time he faced Milan, and he let 2 incredibily funny goals.
I haven't checked the odds today because i took my bets yesterday, but those odds were really set up wrong, imo.
On a 30-40-30 match, the odds for 1x were around 2.00 and odds for AW were 1.70. It's value in my book and even if Milan wins this one i won't be sorry for taking my bets because the arguments i had for taking "1x" were "beating" the arguments i had for "away win"
Cheers !
I'm on Milan today aswell. Odds are much better then before two rounds with Empoli, and Cagliari is not such tough nut as Empolian side is...
So I think Milan should score few goals today and finally win...
I'm also on Palermo 1:0 to win. I had a dream last night... ;)
Livorno - Chievo looks like DRAW to me. Udinese HW. GL to all.
HOMEWIN and here with 2.52 in BETFAIR for the next reasons.
1) ASCOLI need the points much better and the first win in categorie.
2) Problems in attack line of the visitors.
3) No new absenties for ASCOLI. Play the same team who played against LAZIO.
4) KATANIA has the worst away defense in categorie with 18 goal pathetic.
5) Good pro-history for ASCOLI with 3 wins in the last 4 years.
I hope you bet this multiple upon my comments on BA forum:
Livorno-Chievo under
Parma-Palermo 1X
Messina-Samp und
Torino_Empoli 1
Torino scored at 88 and allowed us to close the above multiple in the afternoon matches.
Good win!!!
For Serie A, i think it will be safe Ascoli 1 ( 2.50): first victory of the team of mister Sometti vs a Catania that has been gianted , I think.

Livorno-Chievo : X or under. Very balanced match.

Torni-Empoli : 1 very safe.
