After the trashing of Real Madrid, Zvezda enjoyed another great night this weekend.They smashed Olimpija on Saturday - 110:92 and superstar Milan Gurovic was unstopable once again, with 36 points, and trio Billy Thomas(20 points), Popovic(21pts) and Antic(15pts) have also had a good night as well as one of the biggest talents Dragicevic.
Antonio Burks missed last two matches, vs.Real and Olimpija, but according to latest news, he is likely to join the team for this match, so Zvezda should be much stronger here!
Zvezda are priced around 1.45!

l will also play on kazan....they have one of the best teams in europe.real show two faces...they are great in home championship and poor in uleb...l always said that in derbies is very important home court so the biggest advantage for kazan is to play at home and offcourse some realy great players(brothers lavrinovic,stombergas,stevenson,chikalkin,savanovi c)

i advice for all to stay away from handicaps in this match.. perhaps the best pick would be Canaria under, and both teams total under. right now Rytas looks poor in offence, but defence works great
now sagadin talks only about defence, because he hasn't enough time to prepare for Rytas basketball in offence

Still i don't recomend anyone to play these games with high stakes as we know what happened in last round...
1st pick. Rytas – Gran Canaria under 148 @ 1,85 Omnibet
Many reasons for under here. First and main reason – Rytas coach’s changes (Sagadin joined the team just a couple of days ago). This coach is known as a defensive minded. I’ve just watched the news and A.Slezas told that they are working very hard on defense, many defense strategies and many substitutions will be made during the game to make defense even better. The players of Rytas are able to defend that’s for sure and they will be able to defend for all 40 minutes. Rytas played two games with their new coach and both won. In their first match Rytas let their opponents score 44 pts (for the team that is good only in offense and has no defense), and on Saturday their opponents scored 72 (47 after HT). One more reason – Rytas arena is always good for unders as the baskets are hard to make shots. Gran Canaria is also defensive team and almost all of their previous games went under too.
In general we see two defensive teams with good coaches and a fight for 40 minutes! So only under is a logical pick here.

fmp without starting center pantic imo they have very tough game with strasbourg,,beskitas is clear hw imo vs week anwil wroclawek,andalso agrre with under lietuvos rytas gran canaria,motepaski should win vs lukioil who is typical "home "team,also i see value on hapoel migdal vs oostende imo thats clear hw.red star on"fire"they play exellent and starting playmaker antonio burks back in lineup,red star will win omo 7/10

Khimki has a strong squad,at home they have 1-1,lose against Siena and Oostende :o .On the other hand, ALBA isn't strong like as it had been durig prevous years,but they can suprise.I don't think it will be posible in Moscow.Khimki like to play fast(run&gun)basketball,playmakers Gianmarco Pozzecco and Melvin Booker like to shoot 3pts,they are very fast in transition, Oscar Torres is a great shooter and there best player,if he had a night,can score 30 pts to every team in this competition.Ademola Okulaja will be very motivate(ex-ALBA player).
ALBA is a solid on away games,home win for me,they must also they have a potencial,I see them to show own power on home court against ALBA.It tehy won :) it will be by 20-30 points,so hp isn't big.

mate i cant see that lukoil will score more than 70 pts...this team is realy poor away so that mean that siena must score 89 pts.yes this scenarion can happen but l have in mind that lukoil score only 61 pts in berlin.they also score only 68 pts against hapoel and we all know when hapoel playing than is always very high score so l am not so sure about over 158.
Nancy is 2-1 in Uleb, both wins away, with Bamberg (49:83) and Gran Canaria (55:75). The only loss they suffered was at home from Lietuvos Rytas in OT 101:107 (90:90).
So, Nancy will try to get its first home win tomorrow playing against AEK. I trust this team both in Uleb and LNB because they have physical and mental capabilities to face any team in these competitions. In Uleb they are scoring 83 ppg and allowing 69 ppg (which shows their good defense also) and they are second team in rebounding.
On the other side is AEK, kind of confusing and chaotic team. In Uleb AEK is 1-2, scoring 71 and allowing 75 ppg. I see Nancy as a clear favorite here with Kirksay as top rebounder, Cyril Julian with his assists of course with Linehan and Banks unstoppable.
To summarize, I think Nancy will score more than 80 points and is capable of covering the -11 handicap, but the reason why I don’t take it full stake is because next in LNB they play very important game against Roanne.

To be honest,i know nothing about Eiffeltowers,except from their results and thei roster.But,i see that they win Real in their first game and they have 7-8 Americans in their roster,so they aren't really an Holland team.PAOK managed to lose from Marousi with 20 points in their last league game(marousi also played without one of their best players,Kyritsis)and they have 3 new players in roster.I think that PAOK's coach will try some things in this game,since i don't believe that PAOK has any serius thoughts that they can achieve something at Uleb Cup
Lietuvos Rytas - Gran Canaria
Lietuvos is a well known team with a good squad.They changed their coach,but against Gran Canaria which doesn't seem to be in good form,i think that Lietuvos will be able to win this match
BC FMP - Strasbourg
Both teams have done well till now.FMP seems to me that they aren't in their best condition so,i think tha Strasbourg can at least fight the game

You are right,but you how Lukoil like to play,they will shoot from long distance every time,in the past they don't score a lot,reason why I think and belive they can score today is Siena know they are favorite in this match,also everybody expect from them to win.this will be 3 game in last 7 days,I don't think they will push and give some good defence on court.

So fantastic form for the Russian team while Real was destroyed last week in Belgrad 100-81 ;) .They put something back on Sunday beating in domestic Fuenlabrada 82-64 but I belive it will be a diffrent story tonight in Kazan where the local team is Unstoppabel -

The Others match:
The Khimki is one of the favorites for this UlebCup, has a large and great rosters and is for sure of other level regarding the Alba of Berlin .
There is 1,25 and it is what is worth.
The same for the Lietuvus that must not have m
any problems, but it is obvious that to bet at 1.25 is nearly impossible. FMT-Strasbourg could be a match opened and maybe 1,35 is too low, even if in this match I prefer the home.
The Ventspils even if have not started well the ulebcup season, is a really good team and they face a team limited as Udine, than also in the Italian league it is making badly, there is 40% and IMO is right.
Hemofarm as team is more complete and more solid regarding the Bamberg, even if the German has good individuality like Collins, Yarbrough, Wesson and Garret and lately is improving, seen also the good performance at home against the Lietuvus.
I don't understand as the Germans can be worth under 1.70 in this match, even if they are for sure the favorites of this match.
The Red Star would have to win, but to bet a team in away under 1/2 is always a great risk.
Den Bosch-Paok is a match to choice, the Greek team is not doing good and is without Allen (comes back to Udine), the Dutch is a team without great individualities, but at home are so difficult to face, the odds are enough correct, even if IMO it is 2.10-1.90.

maybe l am optimistic cos l know very well sagadin.he is very good coach and players want to show 100%.also lietuvas play good when they had coaches from ex yugoslavija(mahoric,spahija and now sagadin).and also l am optimistic cos gran lose at home by nancy for 20 pts.yes its true they won hemofarm away but l also see that they are very poor in home champioship(they won in last match at home very poor menorca for only 7 pts in last minutes).

Hmm, but the problem with Sagadin is exactly that players are not allowed to show their best, he insists on discipline instead of skill, he ruined some players in the past just because they were outstanding individuals, and not equal soldiers he prefers to have.
He was a disaster in Zvezda because of that, completelly cut the wings of the youngsters and almost ruinded the team, and exactly the same could happen in Lietuvos, as Lithuanian koncept of basketball is mainly offensive, and I see him as not near the good solution for them.

Two mainly defensive teams, coaches defensive minded, especially Zmagoslav Sagadin, the famous killer of beautifull basketball, whose only contribution in teams he lead before was defensive one, killing any talented young player who threatened to show some imagination on the way.
Also, it's known that the first thing that a new coach could do is to improve the defense, as offense takes much more time.
Add to that that both teams struggle offensivelly recently, and there goes the pick!
Due to all the mentioned, it's obvious that I expect a close low-scoring game here, and also it's highly unlikely that Norris and Hunter could have such an off-night as in Nancy game again.
