at sportsline injures players it says that Andrei Kirilenko prolly wont play tonite if thats true why lines opened it with -1.5 to UTAH ? if he wont play i see big value on clippers tonite.. waiting for more info ..
"Jazz basketball boss Kevin O'Connor said Monday that both forward Andrei Kirilenko and shooting guard Gordan Giricek may miss at least the next three games, but he doesn't know how many more beyond that.
Coach Jerry Sloan said Monday he wasn't positive who'll start in Kirilenko's small forward spot when the 6-1 Jazz host the 5-1 Los Angeles Clippers tonight.
"We're very disappointed Andrei's not going to be able to be with us," Sloan said Monday, "but life goes on."

denver don't lose by a great deal and they're on a good run, I like them with five points on the handicap, maybe double it with warriors who should overcame the raps with soemthing to spare.
Portland at 4.00 in the straight up is huge, this is a team whose only loss is against an improving mavs side, against t-wolves who have lost four straight.

Denver Nuggets at Miami Heat
Denver scored 100+ points in last 4 games with Miami but more important factor is that Miami accepted Denver game style in last season games and allowed them to make 80+ FG attempts per game. Looks that Denver found their offensive rhythm and last 4 games proves this (108 pts in average), but defence still looks poor they allowed 100+ points in 5 of 6 games so far.
Miami is not so great offensive as we used to see them in the end of last season and possible reason is that all teams they played so far are half-court teams (NJ, Chicago, Houston) and most of these teams use defence for winning their games.
Denver is another story, they are running team and their force their opponents to play more in offense. I expect Miami Heat to accept Denver game today and I think that both teams will score more than 100 points. I also think that Denver could cover here but I their 2 wins against poor Philadelphia and Charlotte still not enough for my trust.

Toronto Raptors at Golden State Warriors
Raptors allowed 100+ points in 5 of 6 season games and scoring 99.1 pts per game. Warriors is kind of team which can score 115+ points and at home they usuallu unstoppable by playing fast full court game, and the only way to stop their offense is to play low-tempo. I can't see Raptors playing half court game when they opponent invite them to open-style game, and this is a main reason why I think that this game will be 215-225 points game. I know that till now they did not have such high-scoring games but they were close to 210 pts mark and today I expect them to score more than 215 points. Something like 113-104 is expected.

New Orleans-Charlotte +7, 5 home win
After an impressive 4-0 start, the Hornets lost three in a row, all away from home, to G.State, to Portland and to L.A.Clippers. Chris Paul this year scoring more and organize better his team. The long and athletic bodies of Chandler, West, Mason, give the opportunity to dominate in the paint. Also the sharp shooters behind the line, they could smash the opposite defense. The target is the playoff spot for this year.
Charlotte is a young team with a lot of talent. Wallace, Okafor, Felton, they are great players, but inconsistence. The team plays hard in defense, but it need to improve in the offense. Averaging just 94, 5 per game, one of lowers in the NBA.
New Orleans will win for sure and cover the handicap.

First of all is the defense for Chicago. Coach Skiles was declaring to everybody. Good defense make the offense. Acquire of Ben Wallace show us the Bulls target for this year.
Dallas coach Avery Johnson, has the same philosophy. If you work hard in defense, you could be the part of the team.

it is because Bulls is not an easy team to beat nowadays, this is a no bet game, cause there is big possibility for both teams to win.

Quite a lazy start of Miami this year we would say, they’ve lost several matches and it is the time for them to start playing. All players are able to play very well and having Wade and O’neal they should be hard to stop later on (as it was last year). No big explanation, we just believe that Miami is much better at home vs Denver and they still have something to prove to their fans after these loses.

Golde State vs Toronto Raptors
This should will be a high scoring affairs, both teams don’t care about defense, especially Nellie love to run and gun. It looks like he has found the right players to do that, Foyle will get 82 DNP this year and Biedrinis is much better player for this up tempo style. Since Dunleavy is coming of the bench – Golden won 2 of their last three games.
Jason Richardson sprained his ankle yesterday, and is listed day to day. It will be a huge loss for Golden State if he won’t play tonight. Their reserve point guard K. McLeod will be activated for tonight’s game. I think that Richardson’s status is the main reason why the handicap is so low. Toronto is simply bad, Rasho Nesterovic is playing some awful ball, Mo Pee doesn’t look good either, only Bosh is producing good numbers. Warriors are on fire now and it should be a nice game to watch, Golden to cover the handi is my bet!

1 like i said this morning value on Clippers and i took it in the morning when they had +1.5 now its +1.5 to UTAH and only becouz they are 6-1
but also the clippers with the same record but most of the games was at home ... anywayz i see the big value tonite on them Kirlianko will be big missing tonite for the jazz and i cant see how they gonna get somth from this match ... medium stakes for me on away team .
2nd pick is Miami @ 1.48 money line , i just cant see how such a good team 1 of the best in the NBA will lose again at home team like them can have 1 or 2 bad game after few ... not in raw .
anywayz also denver played close games till now and it seem to be that they still looking their style of the way they used to play last year , cant see them getting something from this game , i played big stakes so thats way i didnt wanna take the speard but also it should be -4.5 coverd .

LA Clippers @ Utah Jazz

Yep, Andrei Kirilenko will miss this game, but i think the market is overreacting to his absence. It was a well known fact he was very likely to be out and Pinnacle opened the spread -1.5 Utah. Kirilenko is an important player with his rebounding and defense and with him playing the spread would probably have been at least -4 for Utah with a conservative estimation. Utah had a slide when Kirlilenko was injured last season, but this year Utah has looked like an improved team with their strong 6-1 start which has not been a fluke. Derek Fisher was a good addition, Carlos Boozer and 2nd year PG Deron Williams have both been excellent so far. Even without AK-47 Utah still has a very strong frontcourt to compete with clippers on the boards, as strong rebounding has been the strenght of the Clippers. Clippers are a good team and has started the season strong with a 5-1 record, but have played 5 games at home, losing the only road game at Phoenix. Now they are hitting on the road, where they were considerably less effective last season with similar roster. Utah has always had a high statistical home advantage and the Clippers have really had trouble playing at the Delta Center. They've lost 28 of last 29 meeting at Salt Lake City, winning there last time 2003. Taking all the aforementioned things in the account, my numbers still favor utah by several points, so taking them on the ML with even odds warrants a 6 unit play for me.

Blazers are among the worst team in the league and have been overachieving early with pretty good looking 4-3 record, but at least they are giving a good fight every night and have lost by big margin only once against the Clippers. Rookie guard Brandon Roy has been a very important piece in their good start. He has been injured for few games and will miss out tonight, but Blazers have played reasonably well without him beating Lakers and Hornets at home before losing to Mavericks by 7. Minnesota are not much better team than the Blazers and lack a lot of depth. They are currently riding a 4 game losing streak and have looked toothless lately. There's a projected low total in this game and pretty high spread favoring Wolves, which is too high imo. These teams have played very low scoring games against each other usually and that shouldn't be much different tonight. These teams met 10 days ago at Portland, Blazers taking the win 88-86. Sure, Minnesota playing at home is more likely to win this one, but with a 8 point spread Portland looks like a strong bet to me. I will throw a medium sized bet on them.

Two very hot teams meet here tonight. Utah Jazz (6-1) and LA Clippers (5-1). Utah Jazz are looking for another win against Clippers here, who lost 32 out of 33 games in Utah and Los Angeles teams is looking to extend their wining streak to 6 games here. And I think that It will happen.
Clippers are just flying recently, winning by approximatelly 10.8 points and winning against strong teams - Mavericks, Suns, Nuggets and etc. All team is just great with Mobley, Cassell. Maggette and their super-strong front line - Brand, Ross and Kaman.
On the other hand, Utah was sometimes just lucky to win against such teams as Pistons (103-101) and generally they win by 6 points on average. They are definetelly going to miss Kirilenko tonight, who is very for the team not only offensively, but deffensively as the guy has really strong D and without him, it will be even easier for Clippers. Somehow I think that Utah is just lucky, on fire and boosted now, while Clippers are really good team and that this team will be a serious candidate for the rings. So medium stake (5 units) on Clippers to win here.

A very interesting game will be played tonight in Salt Lake City. Jazz has a huge advantage - homecrow but they miss one of most important their players - Kirilenko. He don`t score a lot, but do a perfect work in defence. Also he makes a lot of blocks and rebounds. Anyway, Utah always play smart game. They don`t hurry and do everything right. The most important reason of their wins is the defence. Also, Clippers has a good defence, too. Some specialist said that is the reason of their few wins this season. I don`t expect a high-scoring game tonight so my bet is under with medium stakes.

The Hornets started the season on a high and now are suffering with 3 losses to make there record a 4-3 and know not looking so good. Those losses cam one the road and in my opinion they play a hole lot better at home. That really needs to change. But because they are solid at home and Charlotte are probably just as bad as the Hornets are on the road, the Hornets shouldn't have any trouble to take this game away from the Bobcats. The Bobcats are a woeful 1-5 record this season.
Moneyline is too short for me, so i will take the Flames(NHL) and the Hornets in a parlay.
