NJ Nets vs Seattle Supersonics
Seattle has been very good on road this year, so far they are 4-0 ATS, the best mark in the NBA. This will be their last game during this East Coast trip, despite playing without their designed starting center Robert Swift, they were outscored in paint only twice. It’s important to notice that Sonics have vastly improved their defense, Sonics are giving up just 100 pts, compared to 105 from last season. New Jersey have a tough schedule too, this will be their 3 game in 4 days, plus overtime versus Wizards today. Playing back to backs is always tough, and Seattle should be a little fresher tonight. After thinking about Sonics +3.5 looks to be the best bet. Sonics' are on a 2-0 winning streak and before those two they had two close games against Magic and Heat. Both lost, but only with 4 points combined. The biggest factor for me is that this is a b2b game for Nets and their OT has surely made them more tired. A player like J-Kidd is not exactly a youngster anymore and with Jefferson out, the Sonics should keep this one close and maybe win. If the Sonics can get their shooters fired up (Allen, Lewis, Ridnour) we're in for a good game.

Boston Celtics - Orlando Magic
Boston has not start well the season and has many problems, especially under the basket, but lately is not playing badly and is against Utah that agasint Cleveland, two team of a greater level, has made match at par until the lasts minutes and therefore I creed that also today at home agasint Orlando can for sure play the match at par and in my opinion over 2.00 is from taking.
Even if the injury of Jefferson it's important and also Szczerbiak is questionable.
Orlando is a good team, that it is making for sure very well, but I think that especially in the package of the small is a team enough limited and sincerely I have many doubts on the fact that today must be widely favorite in this match, also because Great Hill has problems of ankle and is in full doubt.
The match to my warning will be near and I go with the odds.

Knicks had won 5 of last 6 head-to-head games with Cleveland and were really close to 6-0 record against Cavs but they lost last quarter in Cleveland by 11 points and lost that game. But they still hold 4-0 ATS record and looking into line moving seems that bookies expect Knicks to continue this trend today. I agree with them because they know how to stop Lebron James (he is averaging only 22.8 pts per game), they have character and they play at Madison Square Garden.

2006-11-13 New York Knicks (+5.5) - Cleveland Cavaliers (-5.5)
I know that Knicks are looking for their first home win here. But I just don't think that this will happen yet. Knicks are a good team, but not that good as Cavs. Cleveland is coming after two straight wins, one of them - the last one against Celtics by 1 point - was very exciting. All team just could'nt score, neither Gooden, nor Hughes or Ilgauskas and Cavs were trailing all game, but because of fantastic performance by L.James - 38 points - they pulled a victory. I think that today not only L.James will participate in scoring. I think that Knicks will have big problems with Z.Ilgauskas and D.Gooden. Remember Rockets - Knicks game? E.Curry was just awful, scoring just 7 points (2-11) and grabing just 7 rebounds, while letting Yao score 35 and grab 17 rebounds! It is because Knicks front men - Curry and Frye, are not able to cope with good front lines of other teams. I mean, common, Yao had 7 blocks in that game! So that is why I think that Knick will not stop Gooden and Ilgauskas. And If Cavs managed to win against Boston without good results from Gooden and Ilgauskas, I think that they will manage to win by more than 5 points with good performance from James (as always), Ilgauskas (Curry will just limit him, but not stop him), Gooden (Frye is just a mediocre player) and we must not forget Hughes and Snow as well! Hughes had a very bad day vs Celtics, I don't think that player of such caliber as Hughes can have such an awful day again. Knicks will still be without Francis, which is still a quite important factor. So, medium stake (5 units) on Cavs to cover 5 points spread here.

In last 6 years New Jersey won 5 times with Seattle at home. They come back from a very hard but important win at Washington. The line is set too low on them. If Richard Jefferson would be playing than the line would be something about -8. RJ is important for this team, but this year Nets have great bench and great 2 SF players there - Bostjan Nachbar and Antoine Wright. They both produce really well this season, and are great 2 perimeter shooters. Nets have much better bench than year ago and also a better bench than Seattle. They also have home court advantage in tonight matchup. It will be last game of the long trip for Seattle and they won't be that much concentrated as they where a week ago.

Well somehow Lebron and new look Cavs are struggling against struggling Knicks. NYK roster is always a big surprise but recently they did cover their spreads against Spurs and Denver. It should be a tight game here really think Knicks will be determined to win 1st game at home this season. Plus despite win at SA I see Cavs struggle a bit on the road - looses to Atl and Cha. History is definetly on Knicks side and so am I.

On my opinion Cleveland is the team they can beat, because they are mood’s team. If their mood is good they can beat even Spurs or Dallas or Miami, but if they don’t feel that they can take a victory, their game is really bad. New York is playing at home and we can be sure they will be fighting for the win and giving their 100% and sometimes this could be a great advantage. Our choice for today is New York +6.

Seattle Supersonics @ New Jersey Nets
I am strongly opposing people who are going with Seattle win or Seattle + handicap. My reason is simple. Seattle is playing their 5th game in 7 days. All these games were on the road so this game is the end of their road trip. For numerous occasions even with the beast teams( last season San Antonio and Detroit) we see that at the end of long road trips team don't play well. Seattle will be of no difference. Only problem as I see in all prewiews is that New Jersey is playing b2b and they don't have Jefferson. New Jersey is used to play without Jefferson. Remember two years ago when they won 9 out of 11 to make it to the playoffs. Kidd and Carter is used to playing without Rj. This year they have a great supporting cast with Marcus Williams and Antoine Wright and Boston Nachbar if he is on his day. Yesterday's win over Washington also gave them self confidence that this year too they can do it without Rj. Another factor is that Seattle is a tea thay doesn' y play defense and has a philosophy of just score more than you conceed. This will also make it easier for New Jersey.I think New Jersey will have no problems of covering tihs handicap. Also as they played yesterday I think they will be willing to finish off the job quickly in the first of half so I will be taking New Jersey to cover 1st half handicap as well

Well I think this game is the perfect point of regrouping for Boston Celtics. Doc Rivers, whom I think is one of the worst coaches in the Nba, made a rare intelligent move by reinserting Delonte West into the lineup. After he scored the game winner in the Charlotte it was wise to get use of his high morale. With Szcerbiak probably out for this game, Delonte West's energy will be crucial. Boston is coming to this game after a stupid loss @Cleveland where they simply messed up in the fourth. Important thing is the they got self confidence as they saw they could beat an opponent like Cavs at their homecourt.
Orlando at the other hand is not a very reliable team in terms of betting in my opinion. They struggled a lot against Atlanta, Seattle and Philadelphia. Agains Minnesota I think they played the most out of form team in nba along with Charlotte. So that wasn't something to touch upon a lot. For tonight's game they will be welcoming back Grant Hill.
Although this game is a hard one to bet on I will be going with Boston in low stakes. Reasoning is as I said they are very energetic, can play very good at their home, they even did against Utah at their top form, and Orlando although they have a good core isn't a reliable team at the moment. I think Boston will do what they didn't do in the last game and play solid for 48 minutes and get their second W.

Ok When we look at the New York's games this year we see a lot of points. First of all looking at the teams they played we see teams that are playing run and gun offense,Denver+ Indiana. Memphis game was double ot and normal time ended 89-89. Cleveland at the other hand is using more set plays trying to get the best of Lebron's power and penetrating ability. Also the problem for the Knicks in the past games was conceeding a lot so Isiah Thomas sure is always mentioning about improving their defence rather than offence. Tonight' game I think will not go over 200 points. Reasons are above. I hope no OT is played this time :D

wow i saw a good bet i really like ,paul pierce over 26 points .they set the odds on 26 becuase his average is 26.3 for a game .
