Lens plays very good, I watched them as they outsmarted boring PSG on sunday. Rennes without Mensah, Monterrubio, maybe Adailton? Worth 1.80?

Lyon is almost a home victory, but time after time i have seen in the past, teams like Lyon faulter along the way. The Champions of France may start to get lazy because of the large point difference between them and the other clubs. With the loss of Juninho there free kick mastermind, i'd say they are not in full strength which would be a good thing for Valencienness. Lyon should get the win here but Valencienness will fight hard and there best play is back in the line-up.
Looking at the other games Lens looks quite attractive to beat Rennes as they played very good against PSG last game.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lyon -vs- Valenciennes
after 13 consecutive wins . lyon finally defeated by rennes . in that match juninho was sent off, and suspended in this match.
valenciennes is in the 14th of table with record 4-2-6 . their away record is the worst in ligue 1 . away record is 0-1-5 , goals for 3 and conceded 13.
lyon w/o some player juninho as mention above , fred and cacapa are injured. but cris is back from suspension.
valenciennes have many absent , mostly in defense. patrick paauwe is suspended.

lyon just lost. they eager to win again. benzema is first time called for national team by domenech. i guess this will boost him.
the best in ligue 1 with the worst away team in ligue1 .

For me Toulouse should win this game and I will propably take here clear HW, but i'm also want to get Your opinions about this competition, especially sb who has watched both teams last time.
GL for everybody :D
Is Lyon gonna miss some players except Juninho? Can someone write probable lineup?
OL:Coupet, Clerc, Cris, Squillaci, Abidal, Toulalan, Tiago, Källström, Govou, Benzema, Malouda
VA :Penneteau, Rippert, Chelle, Mater, Doumeng, Roudet, Bezzaz, Haddad, Saez, Savidan, Dufresne
i think that Toulouse and Lens are most definately the two "safest" teams to bet on, not only because they are better than their opponents but also and of course because they are playing at home !

Match: Toulouse v Sedan

Time: 20:00
Recommended bet: Sedan +0.75 AH @ 2.0 Stanjames 4/10
Toulouse have somewhat lost their way a bit in the last 2 matches suffering defeats against Sochaux and St Etienne. The big problem they have had has been in defence. A lot of individual errors has cost them dearly. Against Les Verts, they were just totally shambolic in all reality. They host Sedan here and the visitors will be looking to win just their 2nd match of the season.
Toulouse had been pretty solid at home until the unfortunate Sochaux loss. They will eye this match as an easy chance to get back to winning ways against one of the ligue’s strugglers. In attack, Toulouse have plenty of options in attack and they have plenty of strength. They hit 6 past Monaco and Valenciennes combined, but lost confidence in their last couple of games. There are some real worries in the defence, which looks as leaky as a sunk ship.
Sedan come here inside the relegation zone and with just 1 win all season. But they now have a new coach, and he could turn things around. They drew 1-1 against Nantes last week and played some good football. They were the better team and probably should have won. This will be a tough away day for the team, but if they play their tactics right, then they might be able to get a result.
This looks a tough game to call, and its certainly not a home banker by any means. Sedan will fight hard and have every chance of getting something out of the match. A draw might be on the cards with a few goals in it. Both defences are pretty poor and strikers could have a feast in this game.
Toulouse have 3 important suspensions for this match and I think Sedan might be able to take advantage. I'll take them on the +0.75 AH. Stan james currently offer odds of 2.0 for this and they are a bit generous compared to some other bookies.
Sedan + 0.75 AH @ 2.0 Stan James 4/10

Match: Le Mans v PSG

Time: 20:00 cet
Recommended bet: Le Mans draw no bet @ 1.80 Bet365 4/10
Le Mans welcome PSG to Le Stade Leon Bollee and will be confident of building on last weekends victory away to Auxerre. That ended a run of no win in 5 for Frederic Hantz’ men, and now they will look to upset the mighty PSG who have been inconsistent as usual. The visitors will once again miss key player, Pedro Pauleta to suspension, and that will be a crucial factor in determining the winner of the match.
Le Mans have always been a club that have punched above their weight in this division since their promotion. On paper, they don’t have the most talented of squads but always are knocking on the door of the top 10 positions. A key factor of their success is home form, and they are yet to be defeated in front of their own fans this campaign. They have drawn their last 5 at Le Stade Leon Bollee and will be looking to end that ruin with victory.
PSG have always been one of the most unpredictable sides in the division for the last 2-3 years. Just when they seemed to be getting into a good spell, they messed up by losing at home to Lens. They have failed to go more than 3 games without losing a match this season and that is their problem. Pauleta and Frau will once again miss this match through suspension and it will deplete the attack.
Le Mans have to be favourites for the win here and they have every chance of beating the giants of PSG. But they are only giants through reputation these days, on the field they are just a midtable side. Last season, this game ended a 0-0 draw but I think a few goals will be scored this time round. A draw might happen again, but id be surprised if PSG won. They face a difficult away day for sure.

Nice -Sochaux 1 2.40 local ;)
Nice finally took something from their away matches, one point from Monaco. Before that, there was 6 travelling without single point. Home matches are diferent story. Three wins in a row against Valencien, Lorien and last, Marseille in injury tima from penalty. They play very agresive and strong at home. Their acount of only 11 points was made mostly from matches they played at home ground. Blow for them would be missing their cap. Abordonado but Balmont and Rool are back after the ban. Saochaux are in excellent wining serie. 4 in a row in championship and 5 if we include cup match against Dijon. Coach Allain Perrin work good job with his team and momentaly 5. place on the table is suprice. IMO that would not be for a long time. Coach Perrin says that visiting Nice on their home ground come in bad moment becouse from his words they badly need points to run from momentaly very low 16. place. ;)

One thing i caught in eye is that team from bottom has 15 scored goals.Firstly i thought that Sedan had big win over some opponent, but when i open results,i found that Sedan scores in 11 consecutive games since the opening match.Taking all this defensive problems for Toulouse,Meatman's preview, but also knowing bad away results for Sedan i see value in
over 2,5 7/10

Lille -vs- Marseille
om travel north to lille in the late match for this round. they lost 3 in a row from the second last six week to the sixth now. not only bad in league, they also knocked out from uefa cup and french league cup.
lille started not so well, but they step forward firmly, also in ucl . if they win this match, they will be the second as nancy lost to lorient yesterday.
in this match lille have no injury worries or suspended . i think they will use the same squad which beat valenciennes away.
marseille have 2 important players suspended , cd subar (who play all league matches this season) and dm m'bami , these are big blows.

Match: Troyes v Monaco

Recommended bet: Troyes -0.25 AH @ 2.21 Pointbet 3/10
Le Stade L’aube plays host to a crunch relegation battle between Troyes and Monaco. Both clubs have had poor seasons and will be desperate to obtain the 3 points. Troyes solid home form and Monaco’s complete shambles might mean the home side end up victories.
Troyes fought hard last weekend, but ended up losing 0-1 away to Sochaux. In a way, they could only have themselves to blame because they missed a penalty. Troyes have been playing some good football at home, winning 2 of their last 3 in front of their own fans. I sometimes like their attack force which can combine well. Ultimately, their defence simply isn’t good enough, but at least they do have goalscoring options.
Just like Troyes, Monaco’s big problem is in defence and they have kept just 1 clean sheet all season. That came last weekend against Nice, but they still should have lost. Monaco are in huge trouble at the moment and look like slipping to defeat every week. The south coast giants technically have enough quality in their squad, but there is virtually no confidence. This weekend’s game is a massive match for them, but I’m not sure they have the capabilities to obtain anything. Their only away point so far came in Rennes, they have lost all of their other 5 games on the road.
Overall, I think preference has to go to Troyes here. They have home advantage which is always a crucial factor in this ligue. Monaco really are total rock bottom at the moment and have no confidence. At the moment, they really do look like the weakest side in the division. Troyes definitely have more potential in my opinion.
I have to go with my instict here, a bad feeling tells me Monaco might surprise, but the logical pick is Troyes.

Le Stade Metropole is the venue for Lille v Marseille. Both clubs are in completely different form to each other at the moment. Lille are unbeaten in 5 games and playing some superb football, whilst the pressure is severely climbing on Marseille after 3 straight defeats.
Lille are currently situated in 3rd position in the table and have really got their act together in recent weeks. In their last match, they defeated Valenciennes 3-0 to confirm their superiority. Players such as Peter Odemwingie are tormenting defences causing plenty of problems. Confidence is high amongst the players and they face a huge week of football. First they play Marseille, and then in midweek must beat Anderlecht in the champions league.
Marseille had a superb start to the season but everything has all fallen apart now for L’OM. They have lost 4 of their last 6 games and suffered defeats in their last 3 consecutive. The team just hasn’t been firing properly and they were totally embarrassed by Lorient last weekend. To make matters worse, the teams fans have also cost them a stadium ban as a result of a crown incident against Nice 2 weeks ago. Things are not working in Marseille at the moment and they also have a couple of suspensions for this game.
Overall, preference must go to Lille because the force and momentum is really with them now. At home, they are always such a strong force and rarely lose. In front of their own fans, Lille will play some strong football and will be especially motivated as the game is live on television. Marseille have won 2 of their last 3 at Le Metropole, but will do well to obtain the 3 points again today.
I think Lille can inflict more misery on Alberts Eamon's men.
