I have seen them against Real Madrid and they have played very well.. Mons is without Rogers and Merriex, they have played without them the last 4 matches and have lost against Bree,Unics Kazan and Anvers last week, have won only against Leuvon.. important absences in my opinion.

Last season in first round(10 games),they played very powerfull,9-1,but they could have won that game ,but it seems that they were not interstid at all.
Coach and players are very experienced,Darjus Lavrinovic come from Zalgiris,he is much better of Popovic and Antic,Chikalkin is a top-class scorer,Stevenson is another proven scorer,but player with so much experienced are Saulius Stombergas and Yahor Meshcharakou.This team is very strong for this competition,on other side we have team wich is greately relied on play one man(read his % for 3pts)Milan Gurovic is a top class player but he(I think) lost in this team,Sakota give him all freedom in offence,they are stil without REAL playmaker.Vuk Radivojevic isn't,Steven Markovic is too young, Antonio Burks just arrived to Belgrade,and he need a time.
All in all Russian's come to Belgrade to demolish RD,they will play strong from the first minute,so -2 is funny.

Btw,after starting problems with playmakers,Zvezda have now 3 playmakers Burks,Milosevic and Markovic,so they are now covered well there.Burks is going to be great player for the team,but he will need some time to get used on European rules (on his first match against hemofarm this weekend at one moment he called for timeout not knowing that its forbiden in Europe :D ).

Two teams that started a season with losses (AEK lost 63-57 at Gran Canaria, while Bamberg lost 83-49 at home against Nancy). Now, the one who lost today will be in in big trouble, and their chances to grab the spot will be minimised.
Bamberg had only one man "in mood" last match. It's K'Zell Wesson who scored 17 points, but last match they were without their first center Darren Fenn, who should be on the pitch today.
In German championship Bamberg have 5-1, and they are in 5 games winning streak. Last year they was a first German team who maked to top 16.
In Greek championship AEK have 2-3, and last match they've managed to lost against last placed Makedonikos 80-76 with 20 points form Tapoutos, and 18 form Kommatos.
AEK and Bamberg met each other twice last year in the Euroleague, and Bamberg won both matches. IMO this is at least an equal match, but I will give a small advantage to Bamberg so, at this odds, I think it's worth a try.

Hemofarm - Gran Canaria under 143,5 total points(Gran Canaria is defensive minded team, in their first game about ~120 points were only scored).
Anwil - Strasbourg under 151,5 total points. Anwil really is defensive minded team, many of their games this year have gone under this line(most of them in last 3 months). In 1st round with BC FMP(team has good shooters) total of 151 points were scored. Strasbourg surely will not shoot that much points and they are not that much of favorites here that FMP were. So I expect this game also to go under 151,5 points.

Well told myself I won't take spread this month as I lost yesterday Utah bet by 0.5 and also two bets on basketball by combined 2 points last week. I really think Happoel should win this one by 6,7 points easily, but 1.74 for ML isn't that bad either. Now, why I like Jerusalem chances here? First of all they played really good game last round against really strong Khimki in Moscow, really impressive. They lost and want to bounce back at always hot Israeli ground. Last year they were really awesome there, beatting for example Rome by a large margin. On the other hand Siena had some problems in their first game - score might not show that but they struggled at some points of the game, they just finished nicely. All in all I can see only one winner here and it's not Siena. GL
Snaidero Cucine Udine - Besiktas JK, under 148,5 points total. I really believe Besiktas has trouble scoring in away games, they average about 65 points per game away. And I think if they want to win this game then they will keep this game low scoring and slow. So the total here looks a bit high.
I see a good value on Lukoil +7.

well he did had a great impact in that game, but Gurovi***263; on the other hand didn't...
and eventhough everyone talked about Burks being pass first playmaker he didn't show that in his first game...
Zvezda can win games with Gurovi***263; scoring 20-30 points but when Burks scored twenty they've lost the game..

Hemofarm - Gran Canaria
Hemofarm is a shooting team and their results depends on their shooting mainly. Recent results shows that this team is in good form and I'm not sure that more experienced Gran Canaria will be able to stop Hemofarm offense, especially playing after hard match with OT with Bilbao in ACB league. Hemofarm will have fresh legs and larger motivation.

yes besiktas :oops: ....but l have in local 1.6 and l took them with hemofarm and salzburg....yes l played on hemofarm to cos l think they will fight for every ball and also gran canaria is not that good this year.l watched hemofarm against lietuvas and l must say they surprised me(positive).they lost but l like them how to play.

it's very interesting since when UNICS coach is bad...Antanas Sireikia is one of the best coaches in Lithuania he won european championship in 2002 with lithuania, in world champs he won 7 place.and was a good coach while he worked as Zalgiris coach!
It is one of the most interesting games tonight as I expect tight game between these two powerfull teams. Somehow I am leaning on Nancy a bit, because I think that this team has a spirit to bounce back even when it loses by double digits, just like the last round of LNB championship with Lyon. Nancy are 8-1 in LNB at home thrashing their opponents by ten points or more and their’s only defeat was away with Le Havre just by one point 71-70. Nancy scores 80.3 per game in LNB and in the first round of ULEB they trashed Bamberg 43-89 away.
L. Rytas won in the first round of ULEB with Hemofarm, although struggling in the first half but they managed to outscore them in the second half mainly because of some stupid mistakes that Hemofarm players made. All of L. Rytas's defeats in its last ULEB Cup campaign came on the road, including its last three away games in a row.
I don’t expect that Nancy will trash L. Rytas by double digits (although I won’t be surprised if so:) but 2 points margin is reachable for Nancy.

Well Mirkko, I agree with you that Lietuvos is a good team and I respect that, that's why I said that I expect interesting and tight game but somehow they are not trustable at away matches, that's my opinion.
I wouldn't say that Nancy is a new team without experience on contrary I think Nancy, which reached the French League final in each of the last two seasons, has a nice mix of experience and talent which could well pay off and I expect them to be pleasant surprise this year. Cyril Julian is back to lead Nancy,explosive forward Tariq Kirksay is here too, athletic big man Maxime Zianveni, left-handed shooting guard Ricky Soliver,quick point guard John Linehan.
I know that Lietuvos is trashing their opponents in LKL and BBL but man that speak of what kind of local league is Lietuvos playing which can't be compared with improving LNB France.

Listen, I don't know Bamberg that good (at least not better than most of the ppl), I just have a general view over them, their shocking loss to Nancy in the premiere might deceive about their general strength. As for AEK, I don't like this group at all, they are a team made up in the last moment, they don't have a steady plan in their game, which is occupied by crazy, mainly, shots, taken by Vetoulas or Kommatos or their new PG Gagaloudis. News here say that the atmosphere in the team is really bad, with many of the players disliking their teammates, and their loss at weakest team of the league, Makedonikos, on last Saturday worsened the situation. Bamberg might have a decent chance for a win here, but personally I cannot trust a team that lost by 34 to Nancy in Day 1. Good luck in your selection.

The only way for Rytas to win is to defend as they do it on BBL and LKL. I have to admit that the team still need some time to understand each other, but the results in BBL and LKL looking from defensive side looks good. Their opponent usually scores not more than 60-70 pts. Of course their opponents are much weaker than in BBL or LKL, but still there is one thing that looks quite good in this team at the moment. It is defense.
Nancy is also a defensive style team as all other French teams and their abilities in defense are very good. Both teams like to play slow game with many fouls and both of them will be fighting for the point here for sure, so can expect a tough game.
Our choice is under here, but with medium confidence as there were many unexpected results in Rytas’ game.

I see a good value on Lukoil +7.
Last year they were in one group again, Alba won 78-74 in Berlin, but it was a very tough game for both teams. I can't remember the result in Sofia, think Lukoil won, nevermind.
Now Todor Stoikov is back again, team has a new coach (Dokuzovski who is yet to prove himself). Lukoil lost the big derby against CSKA Sofia lately in a good match, both teams played great for Bulgarian standards.
I don't know how good is Alba this season in Europe, they have only 1 loss in Germany though.
Still Lukoil is not doomed at any way today, handicap is too good to miss IMHO.
I see good value on under 161,5 points total. IMO no way 1 team will score 90 points and this go over, I think this will be a tight game with many turnovers and about 150 points will be scored. 160 points is too much, because Alba is defensive minded team and kept Montepaschi to 79 points.
Yea-but Akademic (Akademic is the real name of the team.LukOil is just the sponsor) defence is very poor :!: but they can score big :!: If Todor Stoikov is on fire they can beat every team in Uleb Cup.And don't forget that Akademic is very good from the 3 point line - 12/23 (52.1%) .

Yes, Nobody, I agree here..although they bounced back in incredible way somehow I think that Lietuvos deserved the win because they were leading almost through the whole match.
