You are wrong in some things: dinamo are a very strong team, but in the national league. They did lose a game in the league this season, 2 weeks ago, 2-1 away at CFR Cluj, and they were also kicked-out of the Romanian Cup, 0-1 at home against Pandurii, after extra-time. They played quite average against Besiktas, especially in the second half, when they made a lot of bad passes and were clueless on the pitch. Moreover, they wil certainly miss some players: Moti(defender - red card against Besiktas), Margaritescu( defensive midfielder - red card against Besiktas), Ze Kalanga and C. Munteanu (both are attacking midfielders, and both are injured).
Due to this absences, I doubt that Dinamo will win this game, and I find the odds on Brugge very good.

Agree with you.I see clear homewin here.Dinamo played nothing against Besiktas and they were lucky to get the 3 points.Besiktas had 2 oportunities at 1-1 to finish the game. Also the important missings will count......Catalin Munteanu is one of the best midfielders in Romania.

from uefa.com
A rainy encounter back in 2002/03 may be on some players' minds as Club Brugge KV and FC Dinamo 1948 Bucuresti meet again in UEFA Cup Group B.
• Club Brugge start the game with one point, having drawn 1-1 at home against Bayer 04 Leverkusen on Matchday 1 and lost 3-1 at Tottenham Hotspur FC on Matchday 2.
• Dinamo did not play on Matchday 1 but earned a dramatic 2-1 win against Be***351;ikta***351; JK on Matchday 2 thanks to a late Claudiu Niculescu penalty. Cosmin Moti and Andrei Margaritescu were both sent off in the closing minutes.
• The two sides have met before in a two-legged tie in the second qualifying round of the 2002/03 UEFA Champions League.
• The Belgian side won 3-1 in the home leg with a goal from Rune Lange and two from Andrés Mendoza cancelling out Dan Alexa's effort for Dinamo. Dinamo's Ciprian Danciu was also sent off after picking up two yellow cards.
• Lange then scored the only goal in the rain-soaked second leg to complete a 4-1 aggregate win. Then Club Brugge coach Trond Sollied said afterwards: "I am very happy that it rained because in Belgium it rains much more than it does in Romania and we are used to such conditions."
• Of the current Club Brugge squad, Gaëtan Englebert, Serhiy Serebrenikov and Birger Maertens started both previous games against Dinamo, Olivier De **** came on as a substitute in both matches while goalkeeper Stijn Stijnen was twice an unused substitute.
• Of the current Dinamo squad, Claudiu Niculescu started both of those games against Club Brugge KV, while Ionel Danciulescu came on as a substitute in both matches.
• Dinamo's Ghanaian defender George Blay knows plenty about Belgian football, having spent five seasons at R. Standard de Liège, one at KV Mechelen and three at RAA Louvièroise prior to moving to Bucharest this summer.
• Including their previous meetings with Dinamo, Club Brugge have met Romanian opposition eight times in European competition. They have won four of those games, drawing three and losing one. Their record on home soil reads won three and drawn one.
• Including their previous meetings with Club Brugge, Dinamo have met Belgian opposition six times, losing 3-0 on aggregate against Mechelen in the 1987/88 UEFA Cup Winners' Cup first round, and 2-0 on aggregate against RSC Anderlecht in the semi-finals of the same competition in 1989/90. They have thus lost all six of their games against Belgian sides.
• Leverkusen play Tottenham in Matchday 3's other Group B game.
dear guys
hope to help a little
***305; only watch dinamo 1
after match ***305; had written this
guys very lucky win for dinamo
before the match we said bjk in bad shape and bjk had scroring problems and we had said that dinamo can win easily because of
the results that dinamo had in romanien league 19 win 0 loses
***305; watch the match on tv ***305; didnt see anything special on dinamo ***305; found them really a poor team this bad bjk team had several chances to score if they did it would be 2-5 easily in first half dinamo only one attack and goal despite playing on their home ground and second half a stupid penalty and 2-1
in the other games that dinamo plays in uefa dont bother if they have 40 win 0 loses in their league
if is that real dinamo?(romanien friends help) ***305; see a clear home win
good lucks
and thanks to IGUANA for good prewiew
Brugge-Dinamo is a sure home win.
Dinamo will play without 4 important players:Moti-defender and Margaritescu-midfilder received red card with Besiktas and Ze Kalanga-midfilder,C.Munteanu-midfilder injured.
Dinamo played bad with Besiktas,Besiktas missed a few chances to score and received a goal from a easy penalty.
Dinamo last match in Romania was 1-1 at Urziceni after a bad play.
Brugge has a big advantage at home where they scored 15 goals an received 1.
This is the last chance for Brugge to qualify,so they must win this match.

Munteanu might play...I really don't know what to say,Brugge aren`t playing best at this moment and Dinamo are surely in a loss of form.In the last two away matches, the defence made mistakes ,reminding of old Dinamo that had a very very poor defence but with good strikers.
I fancy Dinamo to score, but due to lack of form and defensive weaknesses I can`t see them actually win.GL
First of all there are good chances for Catalin Munteanu to play.
He is going with the team and a decision will be taken there, but he said he wants to play and he thinks that he will play.
Second, Dinamo is showing poor form in the last weeks, losing to Cluj and Pandurii and drawing with Urziceni. Something has changed in the team spirit.
Moti and Ze Kalanga are very important players, their replacements, Galamaz and Predescu, are just mediocre players, while for Margaritescu there is the solution Ropotan which is a very good player, youth international. Still if Catalin Munteanu doesnt play, then Ad. Cristea could play in his place and Danciulescu will play in midfield and not in attack.
I really believe that Dinamo can score in this game even more goals, but the defence is awful these days,, getting goals almost each game and allowing opponents to create many chances. If Bruges is any good they should score in this game also.
The best option for this game i think is over
Also I recomand to bet on Steaua-Dinamo Kiev HW 1.90 and Rapid-Mlada Boleslav HW 1.55.
First of all, this is the Brugge-Dinamo thread. No offence ;)
Secondly, Steaua isn't a very solid bet, as they've been playing crap lately. Maybe Rapid will win, but Steaua is not worth to try ;)
Iguana trust Steaua will win becaus they are playing in Ghencea and in case of a victory they will receive a good bonus in money,so they are motivated. Also Dinamo Kiev will play without some important players(Rebov).
Also Dinamo Kiev will play offensive and Steaua plays good with teams that don't play defensive.
Although Steaua needs a draw to qualify in UEFA they will sure not play for a draw because is to risky and the supporters will give the team an advantage.
Maybe I should have post this in Steaua-Dinamo Kiev thread. Definitly / Hill
while for Margaritescu there is the solution Ropotan which is a very good player, youth international.
Ropotan isn`t such a good player like Margaritescu is,you must admit that.Even if Margaritescu`s role isn`t very well seen on the field ,I personally think that Margaritescu plays a very important role in Dinamo`s formation.
Over could be an option ;)

No hes not as good as him, but still is a very good player and he will do a good job in the midfield , while for Moti and Ze Kalanga there arent good replacements and the team could suffer from this.

This thread is full of Steaua fans who are more or less subjective.
Most of them wants that Dinamo to lose this game.
Iguana is objective and i have the same opinion with XHpro.
I am a Dinamo fan and i dont think Dinamo will win this this.
I wish Dinamo to win but thet will be dificult.
The best bet will be over 2,5.
Dinamo has very good and experienced atackers and some problemes in defence.Dinamo will score for sure but i think they will receive at least 1 goal.
FC Bruges playing usualy 4-3-3 with 3 fast and powerful atackers: Salou, Balaban and Yulu-Matondo.Also they are doing perssing all game.Bruggehas slow defenders and dinomo could take advantage from this.
Big presure for the home team and i hope they will do mistakes!

U should posted this there not here because is already expired.
Steaua qualified with a lucky draw, important performance for them and for romanian football, but u should writed there!!!

I don't think that i am not objective, but Dinamo showed weaknesses in the last 2 away matches : mistakes in defensive, misses by strikers, like I admit,Steaua plays the worst football in the last 3 years. If I changed my avatar ,you wouldn`t guess that i am Steaua fan.
Munteanu should play, that`s what the latest news are and it`s a big win for Dinamo.
Is funny to see that allmost everybody posting here has something to do with Steaua! :D
2 things:
First:Do not consider this a banker!Maybe Brugge has the first chance, also true that Dinamo is noy in his best moment! But dont forget that Dinamo will be fully motivated here and Brugge is not having the same power as they use to have 3 years ago wher they beat Dinamo 2 times!
and second.......i fully agree hanniball here! :D and i think too that over is the best bet here!
Brugge look very strong upfront as they scored 15 goals in 6 games but dont forget that Dinamo have the best strikers in Romania!
In fact i took Over 2 at 1.76@pinnacle fuul stake!
Cheers! :D
But dont forget that Dinamo will be fully motivated
And what makes you think that Brugges isn't motivated???
But dont forget that Dinamo will be fully motivated
And what makes you think that Brugges isn't motivated???
some people realy think only in one way and forget that we have here 2 teams.2 motived teams not just one.
But dont forget that Dinamo will be fully motivated
And what makes you think that Brugges isn't motivated???
I didnt say that!
But.....in regular time Dinamo lost only once this year!!!!...and that's was against CFR when Dinamo was coming after a really hard midweek game against Besiktas.
of corse Brugge will be motivate as they'll play their last chance for European spring, but my point is that there arent enought arguments to consider this a clear home win!
Still Dimano is very strong in attack and with Munteanu coming back in the first team will be strong on wings too.....
The main problem will be in defence where they'll be without Moti and Dinamo didnot have another good central defender!
coming to a conclusion.......Brugge have the first chance here, but for me will be 2 very attacking teams so that's whay i ssay that the best bet is Over!
I wouldnt be surprise if Dinamo will score one or two goals here!
GL
Hi guys,
I must tell u that I'm a Dinamo fan!
But bussiness is bussiness ;) .
Dinamo is in my opinion in a little problem in this days: almost all midfield is going to be change for this night match with Brugge, Munteanu is not fit and the coach say that he will be on the bench, on his place we have cristea a very slow player, but with good technicity, also without any defence skills, in the centre we will have Ropotan a young but not experinced player, again minus, and Danciulescu normaly a striker but in my opinion out of form lattely, on the right is a very young player without any singel game in Europe!!!, so the midfield is a really crap. And a big lost also in defence is the central defencer Moti (red card with Besisktas) will replaced with a very slow player. So I dont think Dinamo will stand up in the Brugge wvery good offence:
Brugge (-1) at 4.20 with Gamebookers is my bet 5/10
Sorry for my english ;)
Just a small comment for Lestat : thats the odd for under 2 goals u published on the main page. Odd for over 2 goals is near 1.8
In rest..nth to say about this that it isnt said. Im on Brugges. Cheers
Club Brugge v Dinamo B
Dinamo succeded 13 consecutive victories in the Romanian League, followed by some poor displays. They only won once after that and the team is pretty tired and have some important players misssing. the Romanians will be without their best defender (Moti- red carded) and without important midfielders Ze Kalanga (injured), and Margaritescu (red carded) while C. Munteanu is doubtful.
With only one point after two games, Club Brugge are close to be eliminated and they need a win today to keep their chances alive. In the Belgium first league, Club Brugge is strong on the home ground, with a 5-1-0 run and a goal line of 15-1.
I will go for Brugge (-0,25), with the best odds 1.725 at 10Bet.com.

Yep...was in a hurry. Anyway the mistake will be rectify.
Im also a Dinamo's fan and I know well Dinamo's potential. They played pretty good this season, they won 19 matches and I adviced here before their match with Xanthi Skoda to bet on their clear home win. This time things will be different. Dinamo isnt in a good shape, they dont have more important players and I think their deffence will be very poor without Moti and Margaritescu. Another interesting thing is that Dinamo is another team in Europe, a very weak team, mostly in away matches, when they have to confront more powerful teams than our national league's teams. they have a bad record with those teams from west Europe championships. They also have a bad record with belgian teams and in 2002 they lost the qualification in front of FC Brugge with 2 lost games: 1-3 in Brugge and 0-1 in Bucharest. So, I am pretty sure Dinamo has no chances to win today. The belgians plays their last chances to continue in UEFA Cup and poor Dinamo's defence will cant stop them.
my picks: Brugge @ 2.15 stake: 9/10 and Brugge(-1) 3way handicap @ 4.4 stake: 5/10
Yeah,I agree ! Brugge must win this game if they think to stay in ...
I think that there can be more than 3 goals in this game .

I am french but I listen in the official site the absence of Gregory Dufer Klukowski, Valgaeren and Timothy Dreesen only... Salou will maybe replaces Balaban (tired or light injury against Genk I don't know). The coach of Bruggen wants the victory today before the match in Besiktas...
We have probably the same team in Genk last week only the possible change of Balaban.
Bruggen group:
Balaban, Blondel, Chavez, Clement, Daerden, De ****, Dreesen, Englebert, Gvozdenovic, Salou, Maertens, Leko, Priske, Stijnen, Vandelannoite, van Heerden, Verbauwhede, Vermant, Vermeulen et Yulu-Matondo

Well this is an important absence for the home team.Balaban is a excelent player, good technique also good dribling!
That' good news for Dinamo!
where are the belgians???? please help uss
It`s a difficult game to predict...Brugge is not anymore what they used to be, a decent team...Dinamo is the best team in Romania and nothing more...both league, romanian and belgium, are quite equls...maybe a smaller advantage for the Belgium league...If there is to place a bet i shall take this match as Draw...it suits perfect for the romanians....Also Over may worth a shot as i see both team very motivated...Brugge playing maybe their last chance to go further ...Dinamo has that "attacking menthality"...and i think they can easily score against a Brugge`s confused defence...

Michael Klukowski ( defender , 8 games in Belgian LEague ) , Joos Valgaeren ( defender , 0 games in BL but he has some experience in international games ) . Balaban ( 5 goals , 2nd scorer of the team ) could be a miss ...
On the other hand , Dinamo and their 20+ wins this season . Like talarya said don`t be fouled by this records ... it`s Romanian League where Dinamo are known for their fixed games .

I really can't see Dinamo getting away without receiving 3 goals or more.
If the starting line-up is the one presented by the press Dinamo's defensive game will be a mess, because none of the midfielders likes to do the defensive game.
So dinamo will have to rely on only 4 players. Radu Stefan is the only decent one, but he is young and inexperienced. Galamaz or Goian are poor and clumsy, while Baly is a joke.
So I think it is very probable that Dinamo will be hammered today.
Normaly they will start with the same 11 as last weekend against Racing Genk.
Only Balaban will be probaly on the bench because he's a bit tired. He will be replaced by Ibrahim Salou.
I played 1x on Brugge, but now i feel a bit of worry... :( :(
Gojko !
U dont need to be wory about your pick :D
CB will win 100 %
Over 2.5 @2.36. :o
Very good option, but very unlucky . I saw the match: very nice with several chances for both teams. Two incredible posts for Brugge!
It's only bad luck if over has not been the outcome. I have no regret on my bet! BAD LUCK ONLY
