in 2nd tour i see big value on Lottomatica Roma win. In local i have 1.7. other bookies gives 1.4-1.5...
Olimpija have big problems with money, coach Mahoric out, Arslan ijured,Rannikko not in condition yet...anyway, Liubliana have home court advantage...

I split this topic in two, for 2 seperate days, as it can get really messy on Thursday when you have to go through 5 pages to find info on some games. So for Thursday games, please post your thoughts in the other one.

Yes you are right mate,Roma is pure favorite here.Olimpija loose double match's with Cibona in Zagreb.Big problems in a Ljubljana team,so many ubnormal things had happend in last couple weeks.On other side Roma beat Partizan in open game,but not so easy,Bodiroga was on high level but other teammates were not.Today they won vs Bipop by 22,and what is more importain,all players play 15-20 minutes,so they will be fresh for match in Ljubljana.

be carefull with roma guys.its true that olimpija have problem with injuries but...
l dont know yet how serious are those injuries but l know that olimpija played very good against cibona in adriatic league....why? they started without ozbolt and kuzminskas(injuries) and than were also injured maraker and jurkovic but they lose only for 3 .but l think if hall will be full and this players will play than is olimpija closer to win in this euroleague match.also roma is not great this year....maybe was coach reason why olimpija played so bad in last mouth or two...now they changed trainer(they didnt find new yet) but they show some progress in last match and l am much more optimistic in future....also some young players who didnt play when mahoric was coach show that they deserve to play in olimpija(cebular).
l will be back tomorrow and l will tell how serious are those injuries.
yes,Olimpija at home - always good team, but now i see Roma in higher calss as a team - Moiso,Lucca,Bodiroga,Hawkins,Ilievski,Akabic...

Maybe you are right,but IMO it`s a kind of tricky game.Everybody talk about Olimpija`s problems with money,coach,player injuries etc....But I watched Lottomatica against Partizan Belgrade,they are far from being top-class team,nothing special with old and slow,but still the best Bodiroga,they will be my favourites for UNDERS this season.Olimpija with many problems,Lottomatica nothing special- hmmm,smells like UNDER...
It's true that there had been many problems in Olimpija in last week and for the end head coach Tomo Mahori***269; resign in saturday. But Olimpija played good match in Zagreb against cibona although they had many injured players (Ožbolt, Kuzminskas, Maraker, Jurkovi***269;).
Olimpija's coach on this match will be Gašper Okorn who said: ''In this short time we will prepare for Roma. We will do anything to win this match. There was enough crying. Hala Tivoli is Hala Tivolo it's our home court where Olimpija is equal with all big european teams....''

Ožbolt and Kuzminskas will be prepared for the match. Maraker's injured isn't so bad but he is still doubtful for match meanwhile Jurkovi***269; will missed it.
Well in wednesday Hala Tivoli will be full enough for good athmosphere. I can see the key to win this match in great fight, because players are now fully motivated for this match and they want to show that they aren't soo bad at all. I don't have many infos about Roma but i think that they are not to strong and Olimpija home court and fans is big adventige for players escpecaly in this moment.

they all said that roma is favorite here but when olimpija play at home in eurolegue matches that is always problem for other teams...also italian teams play bad against slovenian and there l see the biggest advatage.

Best pick to me is CSKA to cover handicap. I expect a +20 points win easily. Aris lost Giannoulis for 5-6weeks and Scales for 10 days. Scales is the leader of team while Giannoulis might not be good so far but still is an important loss since only Massey,Wilkinson and Fletcher left to play at 4-5. Probably the young and inexpirienced Karavanas will be used (he is rarely used - has not played at all this year played few mins last year) and possibly Sigalas will be used as power forward for few mins. The 2 pg Casttle and Kalaitzis have also some injury problems and possibly will not play a lot or maybe not at all. It will be a huge surprice to me if CSKA will not cover handicap.
I also believe Olympiakos will win in Italy since Climamio (and rest italian clubs) are much weaker this season but i will only bet on it at 1.7 minimum.

I'm writing from Italy and I think that Roma will be good against Olimpija especially if Arslan will be still out for Slovenians. Has someone news about him?
Around the others Italian team:
Climamio is very bad in the period, it will have a lot of pressure from the crazy new owner Martinelli. Coach Frates will be sacked if he will have another bad match. So Olympiakos could win this match. In Italy we have even match 1,82 and I will be probably on the greeks.
Benetton will have Frahm (best shooter) still dobtfull. Against Zalgiris I was with the lithuanians but Nelson had the best match of the life (6/7 from 3pt) so benetton won easy. Barcelona hasn't a good form but I think will win this match. However handicap 8,5 colud be a bit high. No bet for me.
Napoli at the end will be a good team but it hasn't enough international exprerience and it still waiting for the best Brown (that is in any case worse than Greer). In the lasts two domestic matches Napoli lost in Siena against MPS after one OT but for Siena were very bad its two best players Forte and Sato (1/10 from the field) and won at home against Avellino (I think the worst Italian team) for only 7. Zalgiris looks good so I will take Popovic & C. -5,5 @1.90
Puntek,I don't hate Olimpija,I just said that player are who make a lose or win,and ofcorce coach,you are from Slovenia and you expect some kind of "shock therapy" in Olimpija sqaud :?: I don't think ,this is a just my view of this match,I saw both teams in first round,and Roma is in much better position,form and MOOD.

Best matches on first sight at the moment is Hendicaps on Panathinaikos against Cibona and CSKA against Aris. CSKA is strongest team in Europe(one of the best in World) and Panathinaikos is much stronger this season. Cibona's coach Anzulovic told that they will go in Athens to play, they don't bother with margin or anything else. +16 is ok margin for that game because it should be around 20 points advantage in the end for Panathinaikos.

Look my friend i just mentioned that because things are getting better outside the court and players can think just about basketball and not about other unimportant things. I know that players play the matches but still big name like Jure Zdovc means a lot for the club like Olimpija (if u agree or not). His first job is to look a center a new coach (just like puntek said). Ok for you Roma is big favorite...but we will see
Just to add in Akis71 very good preview that Aris is a traditional home team .Outside Thessaloniki they are weak and if I add the facts that the team lacks Euroleague experience( the new team, not the legendary one) and the injuries mentioned by Akis71 , I am sure that if CSKA are in the mood they will crash Aris 25+ margin. According to aris web site , thomas van den spiegel is out for tonight. But with savrasenko and andersen it's not a big problem for CSKA.

it was great match....olimpija with ranikko,milic,lorbek and ozbolt very fast show that today is day for olimpija...roma in 2nd half come to +1 but last quarter was totaly on olimpija side...also coach doing great job...maybe they wont changed them...in other side bodiroga and ilievski play realy bad.
fans in ljubljana was great tonight and as l said if hall will be full than roma will have big problems.
olimpija played almost with full squad only jurkovic miss and offcourse zupan.
now they must bought some strong center and this will be very danger olimpija(specially at home).
